Crab cakes and fish were delicious

Delicious food!!! Definitely will be coming back! Really fast service as well, food came out quick and hot.

It really was the lack of service for me. This restaurant is really in a convenient location to the beach. However, I waited for about 10 plus minutes in the bar area and wasn't addressed. I had to stop the busboy to ask for a menu and seat myself on the other side, I then ordered the pizzas with the one who seated me. About 5 minutes later the waitress came by and asked what I wanted, I told her that I had already ordered with the young man and she stated well he can't take orders... I was really uncomfortable but hunger won out and I waited patiently for my 2 slices of cheese pizza. Overall the pizza was just what I needed and for $4 for 2 slices you can't beat that. I wouldn't go back there unless extremely hungry and that was the only place around.

    Seafood Sampler

Great food and service, but it was hot inside and there were flies everywhere. I got the fried seafood sampler, which included shrimp, clams, fish, and crab cake, served with potatoes and squash. The squash was surprisingly a standout. Absolutely fabulous. The shrimp, clams, and fish were all perfect. The crab cake was not good. Overcooked, and had only finely shredded crabmeat and too much filler. Overall, I was happy with the food. 4/5. Our waitress was quick, attentive, and friendly. 5/5. The inside of the restaurant was hot. Their AC just couldn't keep up, and we were sweating profusely the entire time. Tables were close together and crowded. Decor was nice. There were also a LOT of flies inside the restaurant. I spent the entire time swatting them off of me. 2/5 for ambiance / atmosphere. Overall, it was a good meal with good service. But the close quarters, heat, and flies kept it from being truly excellent.

I honestly have probably walked past this spot 200x and always assumed it was just a deck associated with the nearby Sandbridge Market and didn't realize it was a stand-alone restaurant and bar. My husband and his parents have come to Sandbridge a bunch of times since he's moved in with me and they have been here probably 5x now and raved about it. So I came with them last weekend after a day at the beach. I loved it! It's much larger than expected with a big bar area and some merch for sale (t shirts and sweaters) and two small arcade games. Then, there is a larger seating area with a fireplace and open window to the kitchen where the food comes out. They have a small patio facing Sandbridge just steps away to the dunes. Beautiful view and live music some nights and weekends with sunshades. We sat inside bc it was raining a bit and our server was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly and super fast with every request. We all split several things and tried a few slices of pizza, a quesadilla, a burger, steamed shrimp and a spinach salad. Everything was out quickly and everything was quick and delicious. Steamed shrimp were phenomenal. We order those everywhere we go and these were amazing. My mother-in-law is a tough customer on restaurants and she loves it. She's had the veggie burger and a sandwich or two and likes those as well. The pizza was really really good. Served by the slice as well so that's perfect if you want something quick to take to the beach or have before you head home. Highly recommend. I can see this will be a spot we come often!

    Donuts

This was a cool little store. We heard their donuts were amazing so we made the trek out here to get some. It was crappy weather outside so we lucked out with there being any donuts left when we got there. The donuts are bigger than the average bear. We got a box, but there's no way you can fit 12 in there. We managed to fit 10 of them, but definitely had to squish them in there. They were good. I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever had. I wouldn't make a special trip down here to get them either, but if I'm in the area and craving a donut I might swing by. We looked around the store to see what else they had and they have a little bit of everything. They had cake mixes, sandwiches, fancy cheeses, snack foods, drinks, etc. It's like a mini grocery store. I could def see where this would be helpful all the way out here in sandbridge. I'd def come back for some beach snacks. I saw some dill pickle ranch chips that caught my eye too. Cute store and the lady working was super friendly.

Food was pretty good, hush puppies were so yum. Nice quick place to go and eat after being at the beach all day.

Such a great variety. Fresh fruit of all kinds, french toast, waffles and chicken, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage , scrabbled eggs, quiche, house potatoes, deviled eggs, and a charcuterie board . The interior design emanates speakeasy. Every detail of design was carefully curated with the utmost intention. Staff was fantastic. Even though it was a brunch buffet, staff were attentive, friendly and frequently checked on all tables to address any needs or questions. The lovely staff were genuinely happy to take photos for us without any prompting. The flow of the buffet was perfect, and the food presentation was delightfully charming! There was a photo back drop available and the decor was so festive, and classy yet simple. The decor wasn't over the top , it was just the right amount of decorations to add pizzazz and celebrate with festive spirit. We all had a very enjoyable time celebrating Galentine's day! It was a wonderful event in an equally wonderful space. The music was on point, as well as the volume level. It was loud enough to enjoy the music, yet low enough that you could hold a conversation without screaming to hear each other. It was very peaceful and even if you don't choose a booth, the tables on the opposite side of the bar do provide some privacy due to the small partitions. The variety of food offered was just right (not overwhelmingly too many options and not too little options) and the food was tasty. It was an excellent first impression that left me excited to await what other fun events they will hold in the future.

The servers and staff are observant and focused on small details that really set Heirloom apart. I especially love the part of the dining room filled with lush hanging plants. We visit several times a year and are always impressed by the quality. We always order the She Crab soup and a Wedge Salad as appetizers to share. They are both so good, I'd probably request them as my last meal! The She Crab soup is absolute perfection, creamy and full of lump crab. I will not order She Crab soup anywhere else after trying theirs. The wedge has pickled onions, candied bacon, blue cheese and some kind of marinated or pickled tomato. Paired all together to make the perfect bite. We have tried a lot of the menu, it does rotate around seasonally, but there are some items that are consistent. The burger was absolutely decadent but not overwhelming. I usually order the "secret", not so secret Shrimp dinner that's not on the menu anymore. You get 6 of their amazing fried shrimp, a magical dipping sauce (cant' describe it!), and 2 sides. (see what's their seasonal sides!) Heirloom will remain one of our favorite places in the 757 to celebrate special occasions!

My husband, best friend, and I went during happy hour, and I was impressed by how many items were on the menu. We started with the chips and guac (even my guac-hating husband liked it!) and the wings with the server's recommendation of blueberry BBQ sauce. It sounds unusual, but it was SO good. They only have chipotle blue cheese for dipping, and as someone who isn't a big blue cheese fan, I was surprised by how much I liked it. All three of us ordered the smashburger and fries from the happy hour menu for $12. This was a true smashburger with thin patties with crispy edges, not the thicker burgers a lot of places try to pass off as one. I've been thinking about it ever since. I'll definitely be back, especially since happy hour is extended until 7 p.m. on Thursdays. Next time, I want more wings and to try the tacos. Great atmosphere for a date night or girls' night out!
