Sandee's has great food! Portions are nice and big - I haven't ordered anything that I don't like yet. The only complaint is the ambiance... there is none. Went to Sandee's about a month ago. Food was mediocre at best. Bacon was microwaved. Toast was cold. It wasn't too busy but took an extremely long time to get my drink, never mind my food. I won't be going back any time soon. read more

We frequent Sandees, often taking our full brood (6), easily fitting into a single booth. Service is great. You can hear your conversations here. The coffee is excellent. The pancakes are huge, fluffy. Some of us prefer vegetarian options and substitute veggie meat. My stand-by is the eggplant parm sub and sweet potato fries, and they will serve anything on the menu at any time. It is Sandees is one of our favorite local diners. read more

Sandee's used to be a 5 star place, but lately the food takes FOREVER to come out of the kitchen. The price is right, and the food is great, but with so many breakfast options around, Sandee's needs to fix their issues or we'll be looking elsewhere for our eggs and coffee. read more

My husband and I really enjoy going to Sandees for breakfast. Close to home and within our walking distance. Seat yourself. Service varies depending on how busy they are. Food is good and they are fairly priced. We prefer to go to Sandees over Michaels bridge diner. read more

Sandees is phenomenal. They have great food, great atmosphere, and the waitresses.... Don't get me started on them. The building looks like a former post office or VFW post. Decor and seating is a bit formica stark with gigantic booths and seats; our booth could easily fit 4-5 (6?) Kevin-sized people on each side. Service was slow. The sandwiches (A Rachel and a Ruben) were totally excellent. Large portions, Buttered, grill-toasted bread. Delicious. Their home-made cole slaw was also excellent, best i've had recently. Pricing was very fair. I liked it and will be back. read more

Thought I'd go middle of the road on this one as 1 breakfast was good and the other not so much. We'd passed Sandee's the previous day heading to a different and made a note that we'd have to come back. We were happy to see that they were still serving breakfast as that seems to be our nemesis these days. The place was nearly empty and seemed strange to have such a wide open space with not too many tables and then to only have two table occupied. We grabbed a booth and looked over the menu. The waitress was friendly and quick to come by to get our drink order. After making our choices, we sat the menus on the corner of the table to let our server know we were ready to order. I picked the Eggs Blackstone which was under the Eggs Benedict heading. It was an English muffin topped with a tomato slice, applewood bacon, poached eggs and covered in hollandaise. It came with a side and I got extra tomato slices. It was quite good but I'm not sure that I'd go back just for that one dish as it's a simple enough one to make or get elsewhere. My partner got two eggs over-medium, bacon, toast and home fries. The toast seemed like it was an order that was made for someone last week and forgotten and then appeared in the order window so it was served. Biting into it made it burst into a pile of crumbles. There's no one way to make my partner more upset than by screwing up the toast. The eggs were also underdone so more than half was not eaten and the home fries just didn't taste good. We both agreed that the bacon was fantastic but bacon alone can not make a good breakfast. read more

We tried sandees as an alternative to the bridge diner today. The inside is kinda meh and cold , but for breakfast not the end of the world. The service was polite and pleasant and the food was quick, but.......the food was ....well...just bad. Being our first time there, we didn't dig deep into the menu, just had standard sausage, eggs and bacon. The eggs were runny, the bacon tasted reheated from earlier in the week and the sausage had some kind of strange hard bone/cartilage filler that snuck up in every couple bites (gross). We go to the Sandees for breakfast often. Kids love the french toast and I love their eggs florentine. Quality is very consistent.

Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to food outside of 128. So Sandee's is what it appears to be, really simple and clean. Eaten breakfast here several times and basically good with many selections. They essentially won me over from the other local place(mentioned in other reviews) because they are clean!!!!!! read more

We've never been disappointed! Keeping in mind this is a diner - Sandee's does "diner" the right way! We'll be back.

A wonderful gustatory experience all 'round ... quite simply, the FOOD, in all categories, is consistently well prepared, attractively presented and delightfully edible ... the BURGERS are incomparable (cooked to order; not the chef's preference) ... BREAKFAST (served all day) is perfection ... SPECIALS should be paid especial attention (the full-belly clams on Fridays are not to be beaten in the finest of seafood restaurants) SERVICE is professionally attentive but friendly as well ... PORTIONS are plentiful for the heartiest of appetites ... PRICES are reasonable ... this is clearly not a fast-food experience ... all food is cooked to order but the prices are comparable to those of the pedestrian, drive-in Mickey Ds, etc. The Premises are sparklingly clean, well-lit and offer uncramped accommodation at booths and tables ... no cutesey theme surroundings or gee-gaws; just a plain, comfortable place to eat ... All in all ... Sandee's is a gem amongst eating establishments ... I'm a devotee who is happy to sing their praises ... but I hope, by doing so, that they don't become too crowded ... read more

I went there with my daughter, worst service ever!!!!! the waitress seated us, then took our drink order. we waited too long for the coffee. then after about five minutes, she came back and took our order. She then went off and talked to other customers that were her friends. She never came back with our order. someone else did. and it was cold!!!!! Other people I have talked to have had the same issue. they need new wait staff. She got a penny for a tip. read more
