Let's start with the name, "Sandwichery." Sand what? Sandwichery! The name attracted us, and we repeated the name along our drive west. I got a ham, turkey, and beef Combo sandwich served with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a Sourdough roll (not sure why it was under the "combo" menu section... it wasn't served with anything, but it was a larger and more involved sandwich). It was huge, had lots of meat, and was really good. The mayo tasted great too. My friend ordered the "California" sandwich, with turkey, avocado, cheddar, sprouts, tomato, and mayo on sliced sourdough. He really loved it and would give 4 stars to the "Wichery." When we walked in, the proprietor gave us the "tour" of the menu. Both he and the woman who made the sandwiches were very nice. Great prices, especially considering the quality. They don't accept credit cards. * Pro Tip: Don't eat your sandwiches at the Sundial Bridge...it's "infested" with bees. read more

I just have to say something for places that stand the test of time. Me and my dad ate at the Sandwichery today and I had an amazing club sandwich. Here are two people with a very large menu and only about 5 square feet of work space...absolutely amazing club sandwich and didn't wait but a couple of minutes! Went there with my boss for my birthday lunch with her. She has Cliac Disease which makes her major allergic to Gluten. We called I had to see if they had gluten-free options, and they confirmed. We walked in and we asked for gluten-free bread, and the lady behind the counter complied. But we realize that they put the bread on the counter where they would prepare the other sandwiches, and my boss calmly asked for some coverage so she does not have a reaction. Has got to be my favorite sandwich place! I have gone here probably once a month for close to 15 years (even when I moved out of state always had to have one when I came home to visit) and almost always get the club San. They have a swirly rye bread that's so good and the pastrami is crispy more like bacon. Their homemade chili is great for those rare cold days. The owners are wonderful, always friendly and greet you with a smile. Only thing that would make it better is being open longer! read more

Great personal service! We stopped in late in the day after coming over 299 from the coast. Despite being nearly closed they fed our family of five. Owners are very personable and easy to talk too. They had something that fit all our tastes (from carnivore to vegetarian). Chips, sodas (free refills), and cookies filled us and sent us on our way happy. Meats are cut to order and everything is priced nicely. No credit cards, cash/check only. The shop is small and easy to miss, parking and entry is behind the shop. The wall are decorated with military memorabilia and there are various models of old war plane hanging from the ceiling. Makes for a very interesting decor. Highly recommend! read more

I've been eating at this restaurant for about 20 years. They have the best California sandwich, turkey, avacado,Cheese,lettuce and local grown tomatoes with fresh bread.. Their quality is great and their homemade soups are worth trying. The chef salads are good and will get you through the day. Well, we promised the owners we'd add our two cents worth here on Yelp, so here it is: BEST sandwiches we've had in a very long time! The only thing we could compare these to was when we lived near Los Angeles and went to a real Deli Restaurant. So many restaurants claim to have great "Deli-style" sandwiches but NOPE, not even close. These ARE. My husband had the corned beef on a roll, I had the turkey and "crispy pastrami"...sooo good! His was about 2 inches thick with meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Mine was also delicious, with plenty of white meat turkey, choice of cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and OH YEAH- that crispy pastrami! The husband and wife team are as nice as everyone says.
