Just tried this on a friend's recommendation. Definitely quality food and quick friendly service. The roast beef in the French dip was pleasantly pink and tender. The bread had a great crust and was soft inside. Everything you want in a sandwich. The place is super clean, the restroom is well decorated, tables are shiny. It's all new and looks very welcoming. Right now there is a Christmas music track playing with a huge tree in the room. All in all, this is a nice place. I'll be back and I'm sure they will do well in a great location.

Bria, the shift supervisor at Sourdough Bread Company, and her staff are exceptional. The owner or general manager did an outstanding job hiring her. The bread is delicious, the sandwiches are delicious, and everything is great. I am not quite sure why some people left the negative reviews they did. The only thing I can think of is maybe it is friends or family of the competition. Ignore the bad reviews and try it for yourself. You will love it. And right next door is a place called Crumble with great desserts that you will love as well.

My first visit to the SBC. I was in the mood for a salad and was very pleased with their Cobb! I ordered the small and it was very filling and delicious. I was super impressed with the ample and fresh toppings! So much avocado, what a treat! I thought the lettuce could have used more cutting up though, as some of the pieces were so large I put toppings inside and rolled them up and dipped in the dressing like a wrap. Counter guy was nice. There was no wait and they made my food in just a couple of minutes. Inside is clean and new. Will return to try some of the other offerings like soup and sandwiches.

For the same price Panera charges for theirs, here you get a sourdough bread bowl that is at least 50% larger, softer, and more bready.

This particular location (Churn Creek Rd.) is the best out of all 3 stores in the city in regards to interior and general vibes. My personal favorite is the Peruvian Steak Sandwich (specifically with subbed-in sourdough bread) and truffle fries. Sizing of things like the fries admittingly have shrank since I first went three years ago sadly. I have yet to have anything bad off the menu that didn't please my tastebuds. (It also has working machines for their lemonade options compared to the College View location. Those drinks are an absolute huge plus!)

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! We also shared their apple prosciutto salad with candied pecans, and bits of Gorgonzola cheese. The matchstick slices of apple ensured you had a bit of sweet crunch with each bite. Very yummy. I would have this as an entree salad next time. I ordered the daily special. A fire roasted salmon belly curled in a circle and a 2 big stalks of asparagus sticking straight up. The salmon was on a bed of mashed potato surrounded on a simple butter sauce. Again a very big entree.
