It is highly rated and I can see why! Each of the dishes had very authentic flavours and larger in portion. My favourites is the Pad Thai and the Beef Massaman Curry. The Pad Thai may be the best one I have yet! Pork Belly Pad Gra Pow would probably has been better with the traditional ground pork as we felt the pork belly was in the drier side, but it had really great flavour and fantastic with lots of rice! Space is quite limited in the restaurant so I would recommend booking early as this restaurant will get more and more popular.

It is in some sort of camp site where if you need a hot shower you can take one before or after dinner. On to the food, the food tasted great and had all the authentic Thai flavors. The chicken wings were surprisingly tasty and had to order another batch. Inside there are only a few tables so if you plan to eat there, highly recommend making reservations. Otherwise it seems like Togo orders is the way to go. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend. Will certainly be back the next time we are in whistler.

However, a reputable source who lives in Whistler said they had eaten several meals there that were not that great. I decided to chance it and order takeout. I got the Thai laksa curry noodles, made vegan by just removing the chicken. I clarified to make sure there was no egg in the noodles. I got 2 out of 5 star spicy. I also ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert, which is vegan by default. Had to call to place the order, and the first time I called it went to voicemail so I waited a few minutes and called back. Food was ready in 15 minutes, and it was still hot and honestly quite tasty. The laksa was well flavored and spiced, it wasn't bland but I'd probably get 3 stars next time. It's simple, noodles, sauce, onions, and the tofu. Tofu was cooked well, but it was a lot of noodles and the noodles didn't really hold the sauce well so sometimes a mouthful of noodles didn't have a ton of sauce/flavors. Mango sticky rice was very tasty. I would definitely get it again. I might get the laksa again, but I'd like to try more things and see how they are.

Thai gone high end--in the best possible way!…read more We've visited a few times and have always had excellent, friendly service and never a bad dish. On our most recent visit, our daughter, who has Celiac disease, joined us along with our granddaughter. The staff was extremely accommodating to both and took particular care to assure our daughter that there would be no cross-contamination with the gluten-free options they could prepare for her. We really appreciated the attention they gave to making sure she could dine safely. And then there's the food. I don't even normally like Pad Thai, but theirs will be on my must-order list when we return. So many versions I've tried are overly sweet and almost ketchup-like. This was completely different--perfectly balanced, flavorful and not a hint of that ketchup taste. The chicken satay was perfectly cooked and tender, and I especially liked that the peanut sauce had a lighter, thinner consistency rather than tasting like straight peanut butter. We also had the Pad Pak vegetables. I don't particularly like vegetables but know I have to eat them--and whatever they do to these actually makes me want to eat them! They were delicious. The green curry sablefish was my husband's favorite and another standout. We really can't say enough good things about this place. Excellent food, thoughtful service and a more elevated take on Thai cuisine. An easy 5 stars for us, and we'll definitely be back - as will our daughter the next time she visits!

Asian food in Whistler isn't always the best, but Mekong did a great job serving authentic and elevated Thai food. I later learned that Mekong is of the same family of Vancouver's Maenam and Sainam - explains the top notch quality. However, outside of the shoulder season Prix fixe menus, the pricing is on the higher side of things. No surprises for Whistler. I don't know if I'd come back if not for the special menu. Cocktails were decent but were definitely weaker. Mochi donut for dessert was the only negative note, and the only thing we didn't finish on the menu.

We parked on a side street nearby and snagged one of the few open tables - it was pretty busy the entire time we were there (on a Thursday ~2pm), with both small and larger groups coming in and out. Service was speedy and polite. FOOD // We got the grilled chicken pho and shrimp spring rolls. Both were yummy and satisfying after our hike - no complaints! Prices felt reasonable, considering the food quality and scarcity of other Vietnamese food options in the area. We'd definitely consider coming back here the next time we're in the area.

It was not tofu, but some sort of salty meat substitute that did not taste anything like tofu. The only other ingredients in the salad rolls are shredded iceberg lettuce and vermicelli noodles. For $13.50, I would expect the rolls to contain some sort of herbs (basil and/or cilantro) and be overall higher quality. The shrimp was also unseasoned and overall the rolls were flavorless. Maybe the other food here is better, but the spring rolls are not worth getting.
