The sandwiches here are amazing. We tried the classic Cubano which is a staple and really good. The other sandwich we got, I thought was even better than the classic, was the Pan con Bistec. I would recommend both! The croquettes are very tasty too. This location does have a small parking lot as well as paid street parking. Seats inside are limited though.
Had this place bookmarked for a while and glad I got to try it when I was visiting Florida. My first Cubano! I ordered the Croquettas, El Cubano, Timba - guava milkshake, and Caramel iced latte. The Croquettas were nice and crispy. So delish. El Cubano was perfectly grilled and had great flavors. I shared half a sandwich with my parents. Timba was for my mom. She said it was ok. I liked my caramel iced latte and they made it sweet for me. Service could be better. They just stare at you lol. Could at least smile more. They were awarded a lot of recognition for their food but I do think they need to be more humble about it. Might be a language barrier because we kept asking a straw and they either forgot and needed to be reminded again. Ambiance is such a vibe. This place is kinda small but we were able to snag a seat at the bar and it was nice to see them preparing the sandwiches. The sauce that comes with it was a great addition! All in all, this place was worth going.
I saw this place has a Michelin gourmand bib award among others so I knew it had to be good! This would be my second time ever having a Cuban sandwich and the first one was okay and I knew this place had to be better and it was! Warm, pressed, cheesy and full of protein! Delicious and I see why it's so good. Their mango smoothie was also very tasty and creamy. Love the aioli that it came with too. Very cramped and busy and I see why it's a staple. Will be back to try the Miami or something else hehe
Glad was able to get the Miami experience and try an original Cuban sandwich! It was really delicious and filling, enjoyed the sauce that came with it, like a garlic aioli. Overall really great flavor and balance with the ham, pork & pickles, bread is on point! Espresso was nice and strong but the ice coffee was more milk and caramel, tasted more like frappe. You have to order beforehand and then find a seat, everything came out pretty quick & staff were great!
I am not from Miami, so maybe not qualified to say this is the best Cubano in the city, but it was memorable! The bread crispy and flavorful, meat fresh and tasty (some cubanos I feel have pork that is underwhelming), with a perfect ratio of mustard and pickle. The fries weren't anything special the the sandwich phenomenal for a great price! When I am back in the city, can't wait to go back!
I visited Miami for a day and wanted to try my very first Cuban sandwich from Sanguich. I got there around 1 pm and there was a line for those that wanted to eat inside. I ordered from the window to-go. The lady was really nice and I waited about 15-20 minutes for my order. I got the Cubano and it was amazing. I also ordered a side of chicharones and they were so crunchy and yummy. The best I've had. My daughter got the Pan con Bistec and she thought it was okay, but absolutely loved her Batido de Mamey. If I'm in Miami or Florida again, I will definitely look for a Sanguich location. PS - yes, the parking lot is small so spaces are limited plus there's chickens and chicks running around and you don't want to run over them.
I was very excited to try this place because I grew up eating tortas and drinking licuados. This location gets very busy and the line was all the way outside. While you are waiting, they provide you a menu to look at while you are waiting. You can sit in the front and watch how the drinks or sandwiches are made which is cool. Or you can sit on the side. Seating is minimal so once you know what you want, grab a seat while you can if you are there with someone would be my tip or you will end up eating outside where there is no seats. I noticed they don't like anyone by the door because that's where you order as well. They don't want that area to be crowded. While you wait in line, the line does go by pretty fast so you aren't waiting too long to order. The banana batido was so good. I almost drank it all before my food came. I grew up drinking banana licuados so it tasted like home. The Miami Vice was so good. When it came out, it wasn't so hot but the right temp. When you bite into the sandwich, the way the mayo melts in your mouth. I'm not much of a Swiss cheese girly but the way all the ingredients came together was lovely. This is such a great comfort meal that I would definitely come back for. I was very excited to try their Cuban sandwich.
Small, fast and tasty! The process to get in is line up outside and they call you in- if you're dining inside or you can order from the window to go. Upon entering you order and pay at the register and then you will be taken to a table. Our sandwiches were all super tasty, fresh and hot off the press. I will say these are not your typical Cuban sandwiches. They have an elevated touch and taste to them. Not traditional but really good, Definitely make it your business to order some croquettes- they are soooo delicious and definitely dip them in the cilantro/garlic sauce it comes with.

Da Wahine had this place bookmarked, so we were going to stop by and see what Sanguich was all about. As of this review, they have 5 locations. This one was closest to us. this location is small, almost a hole in the wall... not a lot of seating inside. I would NOT recommend this place for big groups, it's a struggle for 4 people to eat at a table. and this place gets busy. Parking is just as challenging, with a tiny parking lot. The good news is the staff is very friendly. Try and sit at the bar if you get a chance, you can see your food being prepped right in front of you. Organized Chaos! The sandwiches do take a few minutes to make. 10-15 depending on how busy they are. Plenty of orders are to go as well. Sanguich de Miami in Little Havana is pretty small. Not ideal for a large group. Just wanted a snack before dinner; ordered at the window. Long wait for the food. Overall my top faves were the croquettas & Pan con bistec. Super delicious! The Miami sandwich was alright. Definitely will order the Cubano next time when I'm in Miami again!
Hands down the BEST CUBANO I had in Miami (and I had quite a few)! TikTok put me on to this place, and so we made it out to Little Havana specifically to try these sandwiches -- and it was totally worth all the effort to leave South Beach for the afternoon. I mean WOW! The bread was perfectly soft inside yet buttery and crunchy on the outside, the ingredients all packed with flavor and high quality. I saved half my Cubano for a late night snack, and it was just as good twelve hours later, straight out the hotel fridge. Be prepared for a line and a wait (it was about 30 minutes of standing outside before our sandwiches were ready). Parking can get tight, and indoor seating is limited. Still, I didn't mind opting for the sandwiches to-go and walking up the road to Domino Park and the Bay of Pigs memorial before chowing down.
The. Best. Cuban. Sandwiches. Ever. Food- Chef's kiss!!!! Chef's make out session!!!! Ok sorry I'm getting ahead of myself. But it was SO good. The crispy crunchy bread with a good amount of flavors inside. You can't go wrong with anything here. Our favorite was the Cuban sandwich tho. Service- Such. Dang. Sweet. People. The three of us wanted to try 3 diff sandwiches and although they usually cut it in half, they cut the sandwiches in 3 for us, and even plated it so that we can have a "sample board". AND they were busy!! They totally just wanted their guests to have the best experience. Ambience - casual! There's not too many seats, but people eat and leave quickly! Gotta get that Cubano when you're in Miami and Sanguich was at the top of most lists. Went here on a Friday afternoon for lunch and there was a long line when we got there. The place is pretty small and there isn't much seating so be prepared to wait or try arriving at an off peak time. Once we finally got seated, got a Cubano and some sweet potato fries. The wait for the Cubano took ages cause they were working through pickup orders and dine in ones and made everything fresh. OMG THIS WAS BOMB. Best cubano I've had, probably even one of the best sandwiches I've had. This was huge and came with lots of meat. Melt cheese, perfectly crisp toasted bread. Defo worth the wait. I would dream about this. read more

Yes, Yes,Yes!!!! This Cuban Sanguich was made to perfection. Just enough pork they didn't over kill it. Pickles ( my fave) and the 6 min bread press = the perfect sandwich, ok I also have mention the customer service was spot on. It's the little things for me and the fact that they covered my coffee colada so dust wouldn't get in it as I walked back to the car!! I will be back ! So I did not go inside I ordered at the window because I was in a rush but I will be back to try other sandwich!! There's a spot off of 54th ( Little Haiti area- check them out). read more
The day was hot. Around 80°. Okay, that's not that hot, but around here there's no shade and no wind to ease your sweat and sweltering. My party of two had mistakenly chosen to wear dark navy and black for our Calle Ocho outing and so we suffered like oven-living croquettes. The line to dine in outstretched into the parking lot and the line for takeout was a bewildering mess, mimicking the look of a stampede awaiting to happen with people attempting to cut and those awaiting for food confusingly mixing themselves in with those awaiting to order. Regardless of this potential mess and overheated experience, Sanguich de Miami was well worth the trouble, as well as all the electrolytes lost in the sweat we had soaked into our shirts waiting patiently for this wonderful sandwich. The sandwich itself, the classic Cuban sandwich, is everything you want it to be. Affordable. Compact. Simple. Filling. There was moment unwrapping the sandwich where I realized it was giant, but my negligence to adhere to humanity's standards told me, "Eat the whole sandwich. It'll prove you can eat a food the size of a cocktail menu." And in all honesty, this sandwich is hefty enough for two people or two meals spaced apart. The sanguich of Sanguich de Miami pairs well with their guava cookie milkshake--extra hedonism points for downing both the entire sandwich and the milkshake. If you're caught between picking Cuban sandwiches on Calle Ocho, I do recommend giving Sanguich a try and letting it's simplicity and comfort take you to where you're trying to be--in heaven. read more
This is a very small and narrow place and can't accommodate large parties so if you're bigger than 2 I wouldn't recommend it. When we got there with a group of 6 we just ordered to go because of this. The cubano was decent and the bread was very fresh and crispy. Otherwise it was pretty unremarkable in my opinion and its not worth a wait. read more

I'm not the biggest sandwich person, but on a recent trip to Miami I felt compelled to try a Cubano from this restaurant. I visited around lunchtime on a Thursday and the line was fairly long (took about 10 minutes to place order) even though I was just taking my order to-go. Sanguich is of those places that is benefiting from all of the social media hype. The Cubano was a fairly tasty sandwich and pretty filling. I also tried the Croquettas appetizer (which a local in the line recommended to me) and I don't think I've tried quite like it before but really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend Sanguich de Miami for anyone who loves sandwiches! read more

We ordered the classic Cuban sandwich from here and I thought it was good (in particular the portions were huge, with a lot of meat and filling inside and one sandwich could easily feed two people in my opinion). However, I probably wouldn't wait in the very long line again as it wasn't significantly different than other Cuban sandwiches I've had before from the area. We did really enjoy our coffee milkshake which was excellent and a perfect compliment to the sandwiches on a sunny day. There is a very tiny plaza with a few parking spots in front which was jam packed. Thankfully we found a parallel parking spot nearby and walked from a few blocks down the street. read more
Dropped by the little Havana location of Sanguich on a Saturday afternoon and we were not disappointed. This Miami sandwhich spot has been on our bucket list for some time and we were happy to finally try it out. We had to make a line for a 30 minutes but the waiting experience was not bad thanks to their brand ambassador being out there interacting with the crowd. We were not disappointed and the wait was well worth the reward. We ordered batido de mamey 4 croquettas the boniato fries a pan con lechon and a pan con bistec. The food was amazing (our fave was the pan con lechon) the ambiance was welcoming and if you sit at the counter you can watch the magic happen as the employees prepare the orders. The conveyor belt of sandwiches was extremely entertaining. We will be back for more in the near future. read more

Small little eatery. Serving maybe 4 type of sandwiches. Cubano is their sandwich of choice here. But we split a turkey bacon 3 ways. Ordered a banana shake and plantain chips. Service you can order at the window to go or inside and wait for a seat to open. It's a tight fit for more than 2 people. Service was quick and helpful. It was a good simple Cuban sandwich. read more
This place is highly-rated, heavily-reviewed, and I can totally see why. The place was popping off on the weekend. There's very limited seating, and they get a lot of to-go orders. The sandwich takes a bit of time, but they give it to you straight off the press. The bread has the perfect crunch, the cheese has the best ooze, and the meat was so good. Seriously, I can't even remember what sandwich I got, but it was no doubt one of the best sandwiches I've had. read more

This place is AMAZING!! But the best advice I can give you is get there 10 minutes before they open or you will be lined up outside hungry while other people are getting the best sandwiches you have ever seen delivered to their table hot. We ordered the Cubano sandwich, fries and coffee. 1000/10! The place is clean and classy! The bread and meat were amazing. Staff is super helpful and friendly and very efficient. Prepare to wait and prepare for the wait to be totally worth it!! I have lived in South Florida my entire life, I am of cuban parents and have eaten cuban food since I was born. This is hands down the best cuban sandwich in Miami. There is not even a close second place in my opinion. I did not try any of their other sandwiches, but if you come here, and have to go on a mission to find parking (you will) and have to wait a while to grab a seat, do yourself a favor and order the cuban with a jupina or materva to drink. It will be the highlight of your day. read more

I have been hearing about how glorious Sanguich De Miami is from my best friend Apple S. for years. I decided I had to finally try it on my most recent trip to Miami. All i gotta say, my bestie is wise and has good taste. Now, I need to mention, I had my food delivered through Uber Eats to my hotel. I originally planned to go and take my family, but we were dead from the debacle we had getting off the Carnival Magic. We did not have the energy to go. So we in turn decided to do the delivery. The cafe con leches with croqueta sandwich were delicious! I will admit its hard for me to dislike any croquetas, as it is one of my favorite things to eat. These were especially amazing!!!! Stopped by for a quick lunch after a drive from Orlando! I saw this place on a video recently so I knew I had to try it. This place is so cute, small, but chic. They have a limited menu, but their "sanguiches" are pretty big! I ordered the pan con lechon and actually shared it with my significant other. This sandwich was pretty tasty, I really enjoyed the garlic aoili, and the freshness of all the ingredients. Service was pretty quick and the employees were really nice. I would definitely come back to try another sanguich in the future! read more
Located inside a small shopping center is one of the best Cuban sandwiches in Miami. There was a small line coming out the door which is expected when it's the weekend. The restaurant has counter seating and a few tables. Service is pretty quick so you won't be waiting long for a table. We ordered croquettas as an appetizer. They were excellent and came with a sauce. We ordered two Cuban sandwiches and it truly was the best sandwich I've ever had. Everything was perfect. There's a lot of meat in the sandwich. I ended up taking half to go and was able to enjoy it again for dinner. I will definitely come back and will probably order the same thing!! read more

Small Space, Big Flavor Sanguich knows how to do sandwiches right. My group and I got the Cubano, Media Noche, and Sanguich de Miami, and we loved everything. Like, not a crumb left. Heads up--food takes a little time, but that's because it's made fresh. Totally worth the wait. The seating? Let's just say it's cozy inside. Tight quarters, but I guess that's part of the charm. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I wait a little longer for another bite of that Cubano? No question. read more

I wanted to love this place so much based on all of the good reviews and mouthwatering pictures. Instead, I thought it was "pretty good". I did love the croquetas/dipping sauce and coffee. However, the sandwiches left something to be desired . To me, it felt like an updated version of a Cuban sandwich versus the traditional ones I'm used to in Miami. I tried the Media Noche and my husband had the Cuban. Not the best we've had, but obviously they are doing some thing right if the line to get in is wrapped around the building. I encourage everyone to try them. I just don't think I would be back anytime soon. read more

I just discovered the delights of Little Havana. I know! What rock was I living under? I had the best mojito, the best guava cheese ice cream, and thanks to my friend Holly I have now been introduced to the best Cuban sandwich. She had been raving about Sanguich de Miami for a long time but I never made the connection that they were in Little Havana. After a trip to North Miami we made a 30 minute detour on the way home so I could try their sandwich delights. Sanguich De Miami opened in Little Havana in 2017. Owner Daniel Figueredo was driven by the desire to create the best Cuban sandwich in Miami. They first opened as a pop up in a shipping container but they proved so popular that they were able to move to a permanent 750-square-foot counter service restaurant the next year. What I really love about Sanguich aside from the food is they have their own free parking lot, an almost unheard of commodity in pay for street parking Miami. We arrived early evening and they were slammed. You can order from the walk up window but we decided to wait for our order inside at the counter where we were packed in. They also have some tightly arranged tables along the wall. The restaurant was inspired by Cuba's early 1900s Spanish architecture with brass fixtures and beautiful Cuban tile floors. The menu features the original six sandwiches including the Cubano, pan con lechon, pan con croqueta, and el pan con bistec. They also offer milkshakes with flavors like trigo, mamey, banana, and mango and Cuban coffee. At my friends suggestion I ordered the Media Noche made with pork, spiced ham, swiss cheese, and pickles on sweet bread. The bread was amazing and I loved the flavors of the sandwich. It was also entertaining to watch all of the sandwiches being made as we waited for our order. This was such a cool place to visit and it has now been added to my best of Little Havana list. BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES IN TOWN!! Food - 5+ Service - 5 Ambience - 5 Located right on the Calle 8, in the middle of Little Havana neighborhood. If you want to experience a delicious sandwich, head out to Sanguich (the way we Cubans pronounce sandwich :) ). Their preparada sandwich is so yummy. Michelin was not wrong when added this sandwich place as a recommended option. It's well deserved. Have a little bit of patience as the place is small. It's worth the wait for sure. Enjoy! read more

We placed an order for 2 Cubanos at the window - we were worried because this location was super busy and we weren't sure how soon we'd get our food; however, the turn around time was AMAZING! Only waited 15 minutes, and they provided text updates when it was ready. Restaurant itself is very small with limited seating, but is very cozy and beautifully designed. Small parking lot with free spots; however, plenty of paid street parking nearby! Hands down the BEST Cuban sandwich I've had in Miami (would give it more than 5 stars) read more

This place has been on my list for a long time and I finally was able to stop by. First impression is that is it a popular spot with lots of visitors. Everything I could see from the walk up window was spotlessly clean. Watching the sandwiched being made, I was able to see the consistent quality that of the preparation. I was there for a late lunch (2:30) and they were still having to put together 10-15 sandwiches at a time. It took about 20 minutes to get the two sandwiches I ordered (Miami and Cuban... of course). Both sandwiches were enjoyable, but not quite as good as I was hoping after waiting so long. This is not meant to be a negative review at all. Quick Summary The bread on the sandwiches are divine and the Mamey milkshake was definitely a must-try. Came on a weekend at 3pm and still had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat. You can also order to-go as well. Pretty comfortable seating and very clean and modern. Definitely a must-try while in Miami or Little Havana Food- 5 stars Cubano- one of the best Cubanos I've had. The bread was divine with the best crunch ever. The ingredients were fresh, but the bread stole the show Croqueta- similar as the Cubano. The bread steals the show, but very solid ingredients inside Drinks- 5 stars Mamey milkshake- this was phenomenal. Extra creamy without being too sweet, and still plenty of papaya flavor Service- 5 stars Pretty fast casual. Got in and out quickly. I was visiting Miami the other day to pick up my suit, and I was feeling especially hungry for something indulgent. Given the options around the area, I settled on taking out a Cubano from Sanguich De Miami! Moving on with my experience; it's been a fat minute since I've had a good cuban sandwich, and this Cubano was terrific! Excellent crispy pressed bread, great meat to bread ratio, and moist inside. I forgot to take photos, but I also ordered some potato and ham croquettas, which were huge, very creamy inside, and came with a tasty green sauce to dip. The prices I felt were a little high, but at the same time, the quality was indeed superior. Overall, next time I'm in Miami, I'm definitely taking my friends to Sanguich for the authentic experience. My final verdict is easily a 5/5! read more

Of all the restaurants servicing the marina side of bayside, this by far seemed to be the most popular so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a Cuban and a Croquetta Preparada and received them after about ten minutes. Both of our sandwiches were very delicious and we had a lovely view of the marina. They also have some hot sauces available to try and purchase which were very good. read more
