I ordered a meatball Parmesan with extra sauce. There was hardly any sauce in it and the meat taste like a grilled hamburger. It was very bland. The cheese was terrible and it cost $14. Considering that fried chicken is their most advertised menu item, I was disappointed on two different occasions having to wait over 20 minutes for a small 4pc bucket. Upon finally getting the chicken, it was screaming hot and I had to sit hungry for another 15-20min for it to cool enough to eat. It was dripping puddles of grease the whole time and the taste of the chicken itself was only alright. The fries I got with it were completely devoid of any salt or flavor. On both occasions I've been here, the staff were very short and dismissive - not friendly. The reason this isn't a 1 star review is because I can recognize that they fry their chicken and make their food to order but I still find the wait time to not be worth the experience of the food. Super friendly staff. Great with questions about the menu. Food - they have takeaway pizza but the chicken is made fresh and takes about 20-25 minutes to prepare, so order ahead. Everything is halal! Even the beef pepperoni offered as a pizza topping. When you enter there's a picture menu above the counter however they have way more than what's shown. OMG! The buffalo chicken Caesar salad at this place is AMAZING!!! I didn't really know what to expect, but from my experience with the buffalo wings from here, I knew I was in for a good time. When I opened my platter, I was surprised to see so much chicken! Normally when I order salad, there's more lettuce than meat. I was so happy this wasn't the case. The chicken was on the spicy side. However, adding the Caesar dressing made it tolerable. The salad was so filling, I could only eat half and saved the rest. I've since been back a couple of times. It seems like most customers order to go but there are a handful of booths if you want to eat in. Like your average neighborhood chicken shack, cleanliness is not their first priority. The food always tastes good though. I went to this spot to have a thanksgiving turkey fried. The owner was very accommodating and happy to try our turkey if less than 15 lbs. cost was $25. We ended up ordering a bucket of fried chicken to supplement the small turkey and it went so fast I assume it was delicious. I will definitely be back next Thanksgiving. This place is incredible. I was working in Somerset yesterday and drove past, to be honest it is definitely a hole in the wall and didn't look like a spot I would normally stop at. Today I was here again and looking for a lunch spot on maps and saw all the other reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I really can't judge a book by its cover next time because these guys know what they're doing! So good. I had a slice of Chicken Tender Pizza with a honey mustard drizzle.
