We had a emergency situation that we have to tow a car from Danville,CA to Los Angeles near midnight. I called several tow truck companies that recommended by our insurance company to check the price and to see if they are willing to do it at midnight. The most of tow companies will do it but give price very high. Only Santa Rita Tow's Eric gave us very good price and very nicely that they can do it right away. The price from Eric is $1000 lower than other tow truck company and the service is very good from Eric. He also bring his daughter to help us. After they are normal work day, they will help me to drive more than eight hours to Los Angeles, I was worry about safely, however, after meeting Eric and his daughter, they let me feel they can be fully trusted because they will manage the long distance driving to be safe trip. Eric is very professional to load my car to tow truck. I was also concerned about potential damage to low front bumper on the maserati GT. The Eric loaded the car to truck very fast and very safe. over all, I feel very lucky to have Eric and his daughter to tow my car to long distance. Thank you very to Eric and his daughter. I am new to Yelp and this is my very first review written. I had to take the time to write how great Eric was with Santa Rita Tow. I have NEVER had a car brake down before, but last week my car just stopped running on the 580 freeway in between Pleasanton and Dublin. Cars were speeding by me at at least 70 miles and hour!! My husband came to rescue me, but could not get my old RAV 4 running. I called one other tow company who said it would take at least 2 hours to get there because it was rush hour!!! I called Eric at Santa Rita Tow and he was there in 15 minutes flat! He was VERY reasonable with his flat rate and quickly hooked up my car and towed it to my home. He backed the car into my driveway so my husband could easily access it to work on it on the weekend. ERIC was a lifesaver and I wrote down his # and put it safe in my wallet so if I EVER needed another tow again.....HE WILL BE THE ONE I CALL!!!! Man! What can i say other than Eric was a life saver!!!! My son's car died on him a few days b4. So on my way from Antioch (on 6.15.16) i told my son i would pick up his car, drive it home (to Mountain View) and have my mechanic check it out! So with my lady following me in my car we proceeded to drive back. My son's car finally took a dive on me in Dublin! And luckily it was at a gas station where the attendant knew Eric. Recently got in a car accident in our old school (Chevelle) on our way to the car show in Pleasanton. It was very early in the morning and we were about an hour to an hour and a half away from home. The dispatcher had sent out Santa Rita Tow to the scene because of all the work we have had done to the car, a flat bed tow truck was our only option. Eric came to the scene within 10 minutes and was there to help in whichever way he could (and was very careful and cautious of our car). Eric was courteous, respectful, and very kind hearted. It was one of the worst days we've had especially with sustaining injuries from the crash but Eric was nothing short of understanding, He drove us from pleasanton to vacaville (which is a pretty far drive). He was not only a great businessman but an outstanding person. If we are ever in Pleasanton or have any friends in Pleasanton with car trouble, I know who we will be calling. I accidentally locked myself out of my car tonight, leaving both my keys and cell phone on the front seat of my vehicle. A nice sales person at the CVS in Dublin was kind enough to let me use her phone to call Santa Rita Tow. Vince took my call and let me know he'd be by to help me out ASAP. As promised, Vince appeared promptly at the front of CVS in Dublin just 15 minutes after I'd called. He greeted me in a friendly, professional manner. As he assessed the exact situation with my car's locking mechanism, Vince explained to me what he was going to do in order to unlock my KIA. Vince was extremely careful and skilled and my car was opened in less than 5 minutes. What a relief! I'm truly hoping NOT to lock my keys in the car again anytime in the near future, BUT if I have any situation in which I need a tow or my vehicle unlocked, you can bet I'll be calling Santa Rita Tow and I'll ask specifically for Vince! read more

The owner and man who runs the place, Eric, who I know for a fact works 12 - 15 hour shifts , six days a week, is a great guy and really isn't reminiscent of the scam-artists that usually run tow yards. Has helped me out of a vehicle related jam more than once over the past couple years. Most recently coming to jump my car on a Sunday night, in the heavy 2 weeks of rain we had in early 2017. And giving me a beyond reasonable price. I have also purchased a few vehicles from Eric and he would NOT sell me certain cars that he knew had problems, only would sell me the good ones. I had the most awesome experience with Santa Rita Tow. Very professional and courteous. I didn't have a ride after my car broke down and I needed a tow and a ride. Didn't know what I was going to do, but this guy Eric, the owner, kindest man I have ever met with a heart of gold, dropped me off right in front of my home, of course it depended on another distress call as myself, but blessed as we are, he didn't get a call and was able to accommodate me. I will make sure I keep his number because he will be my #1 service guy when I need a tow. Hopefully that won't be too often, but I do have an older car now, so you never know. I just got my car fixed, so I thought until it stopped on me in the middle of a busy ramp over the freeway. I noticed a tow truck about 4 cars behind me and didn't really think much of it. I thought he would just go around me like all the others but he didn't. His name is Eric and he pulled right over even though he already had a car on his flat bed. He made sure I was ok first then he helped me try to get my car going. When that failed he just hooked my car up to the back and took me back home safe and sound. My Wife was stranded due to a mechanical issue. Our road hazard insurance attempted to contact 2 other tow companies, for one reason or another they did not respond. After 3 hours of waiting on the side of the road, Santa Rita Tow was dispatched to our location. The response was almost immediate, they arrived within 20 minutes of the call. The driver even called my wife to assure her they were on the way. If only they had called Santa Rita Towing the first time... The driver was very friendly and professional. I found Santa Rita Tow by some dump luck after my car die at work. The driver Eric was amazing. He came 20 minutes as he has promised. He loaded my car with great care and delivered it to my home. I made an unreasonable request to see if he can help us push the car back in the garage. He took a look and said it can be done. He was able to unload my car in the garage before I can pull my camera out to capture the amazing act. He had totally made my bad day great.
