It's nice, there is no nutritional menu on their website. Very strange for a chain to not have any allergen or nutritional information available online. It makes it difficult for anyone with dietary restrictions to enjoy their food. Brand new entertainment center. Bowling, virtual reality, arcade games, and new release movies! The best part is all the food options such as pizza, salads, tacos, grande nachos ain't with the must have movie staples of popcorn, hot dog, milk duds and a large drink or icee. Stop at the adult bar to pick up a drink before you head into your movie or keep the drinks flowing during a couples bowling contest. The movie seats don't recline flat but they go back just enough for that perfect viewing angle. Don't forget to place your food and beverage on the swing tray in front of you for easy access during the movie. Seats are new so no complaints but I just hope they stand up well to the wear and tear. read more

Today was our second visit to this santikos and we decided to do a little bit of everything. There are a lot of great things about this place! I would say that overall, staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean here, which is much appreciated. Everything was shiny and it doesn't have that musty smell that sometimes comes with visiting places like this. I can tell they work hard to keep it nice. It was a little frustrating that we chose santikos because we were given a $50 gift card at Christmas and we went to cash that in. We tried to use our gift card for the arcade and OF course, you can't use a santikos entertainment gift card in the arcade inside of santikos. You also can't use it to get food which was really frustrating. We were able to use it for bowling which was nice. I searched their website and reviews before going and never saw anything about the gift cards only applying to certain things. I tried calling several times and nobody ever picked up... so that kinda sucked. Anyway- The arcade has some really cool games, many that I have never seen before. Of course you have your classics like basketball, air hockey, skee ball, car racing and coin pushing... but so many fun games we had never played anywhere else! Our favorites were the baseball game and the Jurassic park game! We skipped the VR and lazer tag today. The issue I have with the arcade mainly is with the prices to play each game. Even the simple cheap games work out to costing $1.50-$2.00 per game. When it's a game of chance and all you do is press a button or pull a lever ONE time for $4 worth of points it's a little disappointing. Anyway, if I were wanting to play games, I'd look at the all you can play options where you don't play for tickets. I think on Tuesdays you can do that for $11. Trust me, you don't want to play for tickets... their "prize" section is honestly one of the worst I've ever seen anywhere. Bowling was pleasant. I really enjoyed the adequate comfortable seating down at your lane. You don't feel crowded with the people on the lanes beside you at all! The score keeping system has many other mini bowling games that were fun instead of just the traditional 9 frame style. If you choose the 30 minutes, it's cool that there are shorter game styles you can choose from. Prices for bowling seemed very fair to me. $30 for an hour plus $4 shoe rental per person. Definitely worth it! The theaters are definitely nice! Comfortable seating. Again it seems very clean which I enjoyed. Movie snacks are pricey, but of course they always are! The good thing about this santikos is they have pizza that's actually pretty good at a decent price. All in all it was a pretty good experience. Lots of opportunities for improvement, but it's nice to find a place like this that offers good clean fun for the whole fam. read more

My Fiancé and I, came to this theatre for the first time. The arcade was bigger then any of the other santikos theatre's and of course we played like we were still little kids (with our masks on of course to keep safety). We then went to play bowling, and sadly they're projectors were down, that's the main reason we went for the cool bowling floor! BUT we still had a blast, the staff was very nice and helpful also! Before our movie, we went to get snacks, we ordered a pretzel, cookie, and large popcorn...they told us to come back 5 mins to check on the pretzel.. so we get to our seats and after some previews go check, when my fiancé got back with my pretzel... We came here for my little cousins 14th birthday. We had about 6 kids ranging from 13-19 running around playing games. They didn't get to play as much as they wanted because there aren't as many games as expected In his place. Pizza was ordered, pizza was overpriced and burnt. Do not go to Santiokos if you want to play laser tag. It is a complicated process to play and designed to rip you off. Here is their process; 1. Pay for points at kiosk (without being shown how much each round costs). 2. Walk to laser tag area and wait for employee to stop by... be told to go to window and sign waiver and see if a time slot is available (this is not mentioned when you buy the non refundable points to play) 3. Sign up for a time slot, that might not be available until much later that day. Their process allows you to get to this point in without prior warning that you may not be able to play for hours. They DO mention, your purchase is not refundable.... the points kiosk should incorporate time a lot selection so customers won't buy something they can't use. TDLR; if you pay for laser tag, you may not be able to do it for hours. You will not figure this out until they have your money. read more

Came here on Tuesday with my family of 5. We payed for bowling for an hour and a half. I saw we had 3 minutes left to finish the last 2 rounds. I walked up to the bowling stand to ask a manager if they would add 10 minutes and that I would pay for it. The shorter manager Hispanic lady said we only charge for 30min minimum. After I spent over $250 on bowling food and arcades I was not going add on 30 minutes. I asked her if she could just add them and she said no we cant but I can give you 5 minutes. At this point make the customer happy with 5 more minutes. Just needed 10 min to finish the last round. Managers need to better read situations. There is a lot of competition like EVO , pinstack, round 1, main event , Dave and busters so a rude manager will definitely push us away. Smile just a little more it's a family atmosphere. This location is absolutely TERRIBLE. I have never had one good experience here. This last time will be the last time I go. We had some one that was helping us through the three hours we were there that was extremely rude, would not talk to us, threw receipts that us and slammed the food door in our face. After the six encounter of her being completely disrespectful, I asked for a manager which the girl told me there was not one and then she pretended to be the manager. I finally found the actual manager. He was very apologetic and seemed to be concerned and told me he was gonna refund my money even though that's not what I asked him. He said he insisted and took all my receipts. He came back a few minutes later and told me he had refunded me , almost $300 worth of bowling games and food. However, that was not true. Purchased tickets online for party of nine. After purchasing refreshments and snack we realized we were at the wrong movie theater. We arrived to Santikos with our purchases. Manny working the front desk met us with a grin and graciously said "I know what happened, it happens all the time". He apologized for not allowing us in with purchases from the other venue, then added "I will happily replace them for you at no cost". The customer service is seriously lacking here. My friend and I came here with the kids to play in the arcade and eat lunch. The arcade was fine but the bathroom was out of soap. We mentioned it to several staff but it wasn't addressed for hours. Lunch was terrible, we ordered and after a half hour I never got notification our order was ready so I went to check on it. I had ordered wings and a salad. The wings were in the warmer waiting but the salad was literally sitting on the counter where people had been coming and going from for quite some time. I'm almost positive that it was the same salad I watched someone bring back. I suspect they put my salad in with someone else's order by mistake which would explain why I never got a notification that my order was ready. When I mentioned this to the guy behind the counter he literally turned his back on me and walked away. The chicken was cold, I mentioned that and he walked away again. No dressing, he got me the dressing. No forks, he walked away from me again and ignored me. I had to find someone else to get a fork. I was extremely upset at this point and told a manager that this guy didn't seem to care about anything. All of the napkin holders were also empty and the manager brought those around too after complaining but never addressed the poor customer service I was getting at the counter. I ate my salad which was actually good except for the cold chicken but no credit for that at this point. We headed back to the arcade so the kids could play laser tag. My friend stood in line at the desk to pay for the games only to be told to go to the kiosk. She did, then they kiosk wasn't working... back in line. A staff member assisted her with the kiosk and THEN one of the cards wasn't credited. This literally took 30 minutes! Can I add that it wasn't a crazy busy day that we were there. I'd hate to try to go on a weekend if this is how a normal day is. No plans of going back to this location anytime soon. Save your lunch money and eat somewhere else for the price you pay. read more

Ordered the spicy loaded nachos. 14 bucks I'm thinking ok for movie theater that's about right for the price. The chips tasted burnt, the salt was so over done it was like a salt lick, the chicken had little flavor left to desire. Chicken tasted boiled, no spice, no heat, and was cold. The cheese had little to no flavor and again they were cold. I will stick with the regular movie nachos next time with the Ricos cheese. Much better flavor profile. I know what Santikos is trying to do, they are capable, but please from a Chef! Get people or real chefs in there that know what they are doing. Could be a game changer.. just something to consider. I have visited Santikos a number of times already. Santikos has not let me down. I enjoy just coming and having lunch or popcorn. I also sometimes pick up dinner here. The movie facilities is great and each time we have a wonderful experience. I just wish they have theater service. I love their fresh baked pizza and salads. One of the frequent things I purchase for our family. Their french fries are great and nachos are far epic. When we had family come in to town this summer they had 5 orders of nachos. This review is after my 2nd visit. Both times a staff member greeted me at the door on my arrival and exit. Tuesday's are the best day to come. A large drink is $4, large popcorn is $4, personal pizza $4, candy $4. If you have AT&T cell phone service they offer BOGO free movie tickets on Tuesday's so it turns into a really good deal. They do not offer the waiter service in the theater but they do offer reserved, reclining seats. I've been twice on Tuesday and I haven't seen any long lines. Each station seems to be fully staffed. The theater temperatures are cozy. I'm not freezing during the movie even while drinking an ice cold soda. Also on Tuesday's you can play the virtual reality video game for $4/person. It lasts about 5 minutes. My daughter and I enjoyed trying to take down robots. We plan to visit every Tuesday this summer. read more

We were excited to try this place out, we always see this huge building in the side of the highway and what perfect way to break it in by seeing the new spider man. We looked online to buy tickets and it turns out tuesdays are family tuesdays which mean everything is 4.99- movie tickets, pizza, bowling, laser tag, and the arcade game cards. Naturally this made us even more excited. We bought our tickets and headed over an hour before the movie time so we could check out everything. Once you walk in it kind of mirrors a main event, even has a full bar. The game area was awesome and they're prices held up. the arcade employees were fun and friendly and stood next to us while playing a game and cheered us on. Once you make your way over to concessions toward the movie theatre this is when the atmosphere changed. The workers were less joyful and didn't seem to display any sort of people skills. It was also extremely filthy. We were excited to see they had a self dispensing popcorn area but immediately became discouraged when we saw how dirty the area was- popcorn everywhere, crunched on the floor, piling up in the rack. And the drink area was 10 x worse. Once we settled in our assigned seats we were able to enjoy the movie on a leather reclining chair with plenty of space. read more

I was excited to try this place out! Living in New Braunfels, I have actually never been to a Santikos location so this was my first time. I was a frequenter of the Alamo Drafthouse in NB and now that EVO opened up in Schertz, that is my go to place. But then I heard that Santikos opened its doors. I tried it out. I bought two movies tickets through fandango which was super easy so that was good. Then we got to the location. It was pretty neat looking inside. Bowing lanes, a big virtual reality setup where four people could play, a decent sized arcade where you can win tickets by playing the games, etc. My date and I brought sweatshirts (I always do that in case the theater is too cold) but for now we didn't need them. It was actually kind of warm in the building (more on that later). Then we saw a bunch of food stands (pizza, salads, etc...), and then also, the classic theater lines for popcorn and candy. Now I was sure there was a menu I could look at while at my seat though. I was sure of it. I mean, this place just opened up next to the new EVO which has full service right at your theater seat. So we passed up the snack counter. I saw a self serve drink station past the popcorn/candy counter. "Hmmm. Maybe I'll ask if they have full service in the theatre." I said. I asked and they said they did not! 36 dollars later, I walked away with two waters, a popcorn, candy and a cookie. Yikes. For 36 bucks at EVO I could have enjoyed two waters and burgers and fries, without having to wait in line, and without having to add butter to only the top of my popcorn (if I chose to get popcorn as well at my seat that is)! Ok. That decision for them to forgo full service in the theater pretty much made the choice for me to not want to come here again. But then... then I sat down in the theater. It was way too warm! I had a T-shirt, jeans, and a ball cap on, so it's not like I was wearing winter clothes. I was sweating so bad throughout this movie it felt horrible. I went outside into the hallway to see if I could find a supervisor or someone that looked like they may have a little pull, but I couldn't find anyone. I sat back down in my seat, took my hat off, took my bottle of water and held it on my forehead and cheeks to try and cool down. I was so uncomfortable that it really made the movie experience really bad. I will say that the seats are as nice as EVO though. They recline and are comfy. No service button to push though like at EVO. So this was date night for me. So afterwards we wanted to bowl. We did. We ordered drinks. I asked for a dry gin martini. What I got was a cocktail plastic glass with about one pump of ketchup worth of gin and vermouth. I asked the waitress "Sorry to bug you but martinis usually have more in them than this." She said that she thought so too and took it back to the bar. She brought it back and was a normal size martini after that. But... It was still so warm in this building that we were both drenched by the time we finished bowling! My date told one of the guys that it was too warm in the building and he said "I know". Yikes. So... the self service and the temperature killed it for us. I'm guessing that the temperature will be adjusted to eventually be cooler. I realize that they just opened so these things might take a bit of time to get tweaked right. But the full service in the theater doesn't seem to be getting added anytime soon. We ended up driving across the street to EVO and finishing our date there. And when we walked up to the doors there, someone was leaving and we felt a huge blast of cold air hit us as they walked out. We both looked at each other, smiled and then we walked in. read more

Don't bother asking Santikos to help with expenses, already showed local taxpayers they don't care cause this has happened in the past. We tried out the Electric Gamebox at Cibolo Santikos and were a little disappointed. For five of us with a couple if discounts it came out to $140 for a little under an hour. The Alien Aptitude Test game was OK, but I think we just expected more. I think a fair price would be $10-$15 an hour. Overall it was like a bucket list kind of thing, once you have done it, you you check it off your list. I do not see us going back anytime soon. read more

I'm giving it 2 stars bc the staff was very nice and helpful also the place looked nice and was clean. However, the reason I'm taking away 3 stars is bc it's so ridiculously expensive that most people won't be able to afford more than a few minutes. We didn't play the typical arcade games due to her being only 7, she was more interested in the little kid games. These games are mostly between 4-8 tokens and are over within 2-3 seconds. It literally takes more time to walk to each machine than it does to play them. We blew thru $50 in less than 10 minutes and got 130 tickets which didn't buy much. Compared to what we lost with Alamo draft house this place is awful. They have food, but it's high school concession style with the waxy yellow nacho cheese and round chip, the queso is again the liquid yellow nacho cheese from a can. The poppers where disgusting. Not to mention I saw a manager yelling at a very obviously overwhelmed bartender who had no help. To top it all off if you order food they text you in the middle of the movie and you have to go and pick it up and miss part of your movie. read more

Meh. Evo and Alamo are MUCH better. First time to the Santikos Cibolo...beautiful, new theatre...however, it's NOT full service. If you want food, you have to order it in the lobby and take it with you into the theatre. OH...and you order pizza at one counter, pay...and then go to ANOTHER counter to buy sodas, popcorn and any other entree that you want. EVO and Alamo's approach is a much better customer experience--much easier and less hassle. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. read more

They refused to give me refund over the phone and email when I told them I had an accident and can't make it to the movies. They want me to go to the theater which i told them I couldn't because of the situation but all I got is a lame sorry with no action. I know they have at least a one time exception for my situation but they are so money hungry and doesn't care about your hard earned money. Never go to this disgusting heartless place. I don't care what anybody has to say negative about this theater! I went today to view the John Wick3 movie and had an amazing time. From when I entered the facility all the way to leaving there was an employee around every corner greeting me and asking if I need assistance with anything. The seats were comfortable, the theater was clean, the games & food were priced well. all the servers weather at the bar, the concession stand, or the pizza stand were extremely polite and helpful seeing how it was my first time there and I didn't know the menu at all. This place is so much fun. It has something for everyone. The staff is helpful. The food is good. We had the pizza it took a little while but it was worth the wait to eat fresh hot pizza. Plus no lines, service was fast and the drink center was clean and neat. The kids loved the drink selection and free refills. (It was an experience for them.) this area is growing. I'm excited to see family entertainment in the area. Oh yeah and we also played lasertag(so much fun) the maze is two levels and you can play in teams or solo. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. It's cool new and well managed. I'm excited to hang out here I'm coming back to bowl and try the VR game. Great environment. Great staff. I've only been to the theatre. The seats recline & are waaayy more comfortable than the seats in the Evo theatre next door. The popcorn is alright but the prices are great. It's not like Evo where they serve you at your seat so it's basically like a regular theatre where you buy at the counter but it's still cool. The screen though wasn't as big as the one I saw in Evo, but then again I only saw one movie there. Def coming back. read more
