I seriously love this place. So so much. The price is totally great, they are generous with their portions. I think of it in the same style as subway, but Greek food. You pick a base (I do a fries/rice halfsies combo, which they are always happy to accommodate) and then I get the classic lamb with all the fixings like lettuce cucumber tomato and a crap ton of the amazing tatziki sauce. So yummy! I try to go here anytime I am in the Farmington station area. The owners are so sweet and kind, and the food is ALWAYS fresh. They literally make the fries to order right in front of your face, so they are always piping hot and flavorful with that amazing lemony pepper flavor that is so greekly iconic. First time coming and we'll come back to try something else. The menu is interesting. You can choose between a bowl or pita setup. I chose a bowl with lemon rice, the lamb/beef mixture ( it's a build it yourself meal), the Greek salad mixture (cucumbers, tomato and red onions), taziki sauce. It was okay. The lemon rice had no flavor and the meat was over cooked. The vegetable mixture with the sauce was nice and as long as there was sauce on the meat it wasn't bad. read more

We still will choose Santorini's now and again just for the Mediterranean variety compared to local Fast Casual Mex burrito joints, but I've dropped my rating to 2.5 stars. We've found the original gyro meat consistently tasty, but very hit and miss on juiciness v. dryness. But never as juicy as freshly-cut-from-roasting-spit like most Greek or Turkish gyro/döner shops. The lemon chicken and lemon rice have been dry and boring both times I've tried. The steak was also dry. Falafel were reasonably light and crispy given that they aren't making them from scratch, but the flatbread only included four small falafel. Had to add 75¢ fries upcharge to make the flatbread wrap not too skimpy. The other veggie, salad and dolmathe add ons (yet they still go a bit heavy on onion here) are fresh and pretty tasty -- though tzatziki remains thin and slightly below average compared to most Greek places. And after giving another chance we've found the upcharges for feta cheese and kalamata olives not worth it, either. read more

Thom ordered a pita and requested the original gyro meat (beef and lamb), and he had them make it Santorini Style - which is putting lemon rice and french fries inside! He had them add tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions, topping it off with tatziki sauce. Their gyros are GINORMOUS! I could not believe how huge they were! I ordered a bowl because I was craving rice and chicken. I had them top lemon rice with their smoked garlic herb chicken, and since I wasn't sure what I wanted on top they were so nice to put a bunch of toppings in a bowl on the side for me to choose from. I also asked them to put my sauce choice on the side, it was roasted pepper sauce. The combination of their delicious lemon rice and that smoky chicken was heavenly. Maybe I'm strange, but I'm pretty sure I could eat some combination of chicken and rice every single day, it's comfort food for me. I see myself coming in to grab a bowl of this all the time, it hit the spot!! I ended up dumping all the sides and sauce I chose on top of it and I loved the crunchiness of the veggies with the tender rice and chicken. . We absolutely loved this restaurant! You get your food FAST, the employees are happy and helpful, the dining room is clean and bright and most important of course, the food is DELICIOUS!! Totally worth the 15 mins drive. $8 to $10 for a meal and a drink? Yes please! I just saw that there was a Greek restaurant north of us I didn't get to look at the details of the location. It's more of the build your own meal, pick your choices as you go down the line, and then sit to eat. But I am not complaining. The quality of the food is what I expect from a full restaurant and you can't beat such delicious food for such a bargain deal. I came with my husband and our friend and we were all ravenous. We all got the bowls and we asked for lettuce and rice as the base so it wasn't just full of one item. I got the falafel, hubby got the gyro meat, and friend got the lemon chicken. The falafel was scrumptious and the outer shell was nice and crisp with a soft chewy center. The rice was nice and light with a hint of citrus. The chicken was nice and tender with just the right amount of lemon and the lamb was nice and tender. We were almost finished with our meals and already started picking what we wanted to order the next time we head up this way. For dessert they only have two options but they are awesome options. Home made Greek yogurt bar where you can pick 3 toppings or baklava. Nice simple menu but they make what they have well. So glad we found this spot and can't wait to come back. Imagine a freaking Chipotle, but with freaking Greek food! Pick your toppings on either a pita or a bowl, UNLIMITED- $8.00. I wanted to pack this place up and take it back to San Jose with me. I had a bowl with French fries, lemon rice, gyro meat, lettuce, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, pepperoncinis, FREAKING dolmades . Then I had that baby topped with Tzatziki, and lemon dill that was straight FIRE! I want to bathe in the lemon dill sauce. I also had hummus on the side. The gyro meat was cut slightly on the thick side. It would have been nicer if it were sliced a little thinner to allow multiple ingredients in one bite. Found out about this new place from my son. We had the Gyro & Chicken rice bowl. Fast food style. Pick your Pita or Rice , then type of protein and finally toppings and sauce. First off it's a lot of food. 9" Pita is stuffed when they hand it over. Gyro was awesome, good and great authentic sauces. This is so big you could share with another. Wife had lemon rice bowl with garlic chicken. She loved it. Staff was fast and moved the Saturday night crowd through their orders. Just simple tables and chairs. Laid back atmosphere. TV was playing Grinch at the time. Family operated. So full we didn't get the yogurt for dessert. Have been told it's fabulous. Will come back and give it a try. It's all fresh and very healthy. Granted I was a bit confused when I walked in here. I guess how I expected to order food and how they actually do things were a bit skewed apart. In any case, quickly recovered and figured how this works so I am certain that any and all following visits will be smoothless. Gave a shot at the bowl instead of the pita. Tried a bowl with Greek Salad and original Gyro. Even gave a try at the Greek Garlic Fries. I liked everything, but like I said on subsequent visits I will have a better feel of how to build the bowl so it will be more to my liking. read more

The meat was well seasoned, the tatziki seemed like it was a thin consistency but it was fine, I actually preferred it that way once I started eating it. The pita was Okay. The serving size is HUGE! So share. Or don't! I didn't and I don't regret it! They also sell bowls if you don't want the pita! It looked like they had some kind of yogurt bowl too! I'll try that next time! I spent 3 months in chicago many years ago and ate at several greek places there and aside from greece ,maybe they have thee best food i've found anywhere else in the States. Really good For vegetarians like me. Really surprised to see that they ensured that the serving spoons used for meat wasn't used when serving vegetarian food. They served freshly fried fries and falafel. Garlic sauce had my heart, gobbled up all not leaving a drop! The red bell pepper sauce was tasty too and something I had never had before. The food is OK, but they are super stingy with what they put on the salad. The first time I came here it was amazing, the second time and subsequent times they were stingy with the toppings. Confused by this 4.5 star rating. Everything was just okay to me, quality that of fast food. First off, the pitas are not made in house, which is disappointing. It ain't that hard. The next disappointment was gyro meat being pulled out of water... wait what? In order to be a Greek place serving gyro, I think a spit is required. No one wants to pay $10 for watery gyro meat. The redeeming features here are the big selection of toppings, and the sauces were pretty good as well. We did enjoy the feta fries but they were a bit on the salty side.
