Grabbed take out on a Monday night. It was easy to order over the phone and the food was ready with in 20 minutes. When I picked up the staff was welcoming and nice. We ordered wings and taco pizza. The wings were good, meaty and saucy and the pizza was okay, maybe my last minute choice for taco pizza wasn't the best pick. I think taco pizza is one of those things you need to eat as soon as it is ready and doesn't reheat well. I should have gotten a pepperoni but wanted to try something crazy. read more

As a local, I wanted to support this place and give them a shot--big mistake. While the food was decent, everything else was a disaster. They advertise discounts for various situations but apparently have no clue how to apply them. They also claim free delivery, yet they don't answer the phone, and the online ordering option doesn't even show delivery as an option. The real kicker? They took my money for an online order when they were completely closed. Their listed hours of operation are clearly meaningless, as I've been checking for days, and they're still shut with zero updates. I emailed them directly to resolve this and have received no response at all. Where's my money? Where's my food? This is beyond unprofessional. Santos Pizza has great food and great customer service. Depending on what you order I'd say you can spend between $4 -$20 per person. The bread they use for their subs tastes sooooo good. Salads are always made with fresh ingredients and fries are always crispy. I'm normally a cheese or pineapple pizza person but they have this bacon chicken ranch pizza that is amazing. This is the only place where I stray from normal order when it comes to pizza. They use the right amount of everything. You can order your food to go or dine in. Super causal place that's good for a quick lunch, meeting with friends or dinner because you don't feel like cooking. Give it a try. read more

Consistently delicious pizza! Having moved to the area recently we have been trying all the pizza places along Linglestown Rd (see collection) to find the one that meets our tastes. So far Santos has risen to the top! The pizza has very flavorful sauce and good quality of cheese on top. Too often sauces are bland or over seasoned, but Santos has it just right. The quality of crust is just right for a Neapolitan pizza, not overly doughy or too thin, but combined with the quality toppings is just right for the pizza we are looking for in the area. We've also tried the chef salad (loaded with toppings) and the French fries, which were very good and still crisp even as a take-out order. Must have been a bad day to order. I had called months ago and discovered the prices advertised on their website were not current so I said no thanks. Anyway, My first visit. Ordering by phone was easy and when I walked in I liked the quaintness of this strip plaza pizza joint. I had ordered a Chicken Cheese Steak Hoagie and gosh I was hungry. For almost $10, I was hoping for at least average or better taste and quality. I returned to work just a short distance away from the shop with my sandwich in hand. One thing I had noticed was that my order along with other orders were sitting on a non-heated hold area. Hmmm?! I sat down, opened my sandwich and, well, luke-warm at best. Took a bite and the hoagie roll was stale. It was so dry. What a disappointment. The meat, though not warm, was tasty, and the hoagie had just enough lettuce and tomato. I was starving, did not have time to return the sandwich and made the most of it, without eating a large section of the hoagie/sub roll. The birds enjoyed that. Based upon this experience I will never go back here. If I am going to spend $10 on a sandwich, it better be fresh and tasty. read more

The best pizza, in my humble opinion, is the white pizza -- that's a pie with a generous amount of ricotta cheese, garlic and a balanced amount of olive oil (it's not overdone, thankfully) -- with tomatoes and spinach. (Check out my picture.) Not in the mood for pizza? Try a salad. Here's a gem: The barbecue chicken. Romaine lettuce; ample meat (well sauced), cucumbers (I sub celery), tomatoes, onions, cheese and -- here's where it gets really good -- a hard boiled egg and their fantastic fries. Get it with blue cheese and ... well, I'm making myself hungry! Quibbles? Sometimes there's not enough garlic on the pie. Occasionally, an ingredient will be M.I.A. on the salad. Big deals? We are from out of town and Santos was nearby when we needed lunch. We ended up getting food from them four or five times because it was so good. I had the Antipasto Salad more than once because it was so good--provolone and salami wrapped in little wedges on top of a hearty salad of greens and tomatoes, as well as kalamata olives and onion. Their pizza is divine, as is their stromboli (we had a slice with our salads). Highly recommended! read more

I moved to the area close to Santos just a couple years ago. I go to Santos often now because the food is always great for lunch or dinner. I've never had a bad meal there. Tried a lot of menu items and my favorites are the stromboli and chicken cheesesteaks. One of the best places for pizza around too, and salads are always fresh. They are nice about customizing your order, and the guys I've always dealt with that work there are super friendly. This is one of my new favorite restaurants and I highly recommend it! read more

I have gone here many times over the last four years. In the last two months, or so, the place has changed. I have gotten raw dough pizza on two different orders. I always ask for well done so it is a surprise to see raw dough. On the same occasions I received raw dough in the strombolis. Salad was good. Not watery. And everything was fresh. Not bad. A slice of cheese pizza is $2.07 after tax. Their standard pizza make seems to be thin crust....make that thin thin crust. They will warm a slice or two for you in the oven and serve it at a decent temperature aka not so hot that it causes 3rd degree burns and they are quick too. There's a well-kept seating area with a couple of TV. The menu contains typical sub/pizza spot items like strombolis, hoagies etc., and they even have a few salads on the menu as well. They serve canned/bottled sodas and drinks so soda drinkers that hate fountains can relax! They accept debit/credit cards without a minimum purchase price. read more

Sooooo disappointing. This is just not Santos as it used to be. I used to anxiously await coming home for a Santos sub all year. Their rolls were unparalleled, perfectly crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. They now are barely a step above subway rolls. We ordered a pizza from a photo we saw on their Yelp... I think they took a picture of a pizza from another shop because what we received was missing ingredients and literally looks like an entirely different breed of pie crust. Out of our family of four, this pizza isn't appealing enough to be finished. I heard Christopher's shop down the road is the "missing ingredient", as he used to be at Santos. I'll be going to his shop to attempt to satisfy my craving because this just left me sad. read more

Santo's is a solid pizza spot. It's changed owners since the great pizza and subs in the 90s', but still good pizza. The subs used to be made on the same bread as the pizza dough, which was great, but now they're just okay. Surprisingly, Santo's now has great salads. For a reasonable price, you get a good sized salad with a ton of meat. Pizza is good too, especially some of their specialty pizzas. Friendly guys run the place and always nice and clean.
