    Salmon Lover Roll

Tried the Salmon Lover Roll and the Motsunabe both were so good! The salmon was super fresh and the broth for the motsunabe was rich and comforting. The servers were really nice and friendly too. Would definitely come back.

I ordered takeout. Yakisoba noodles with chicken. The food was well packaged, huge portion and tasted good. I would order from them again.

Came here on a whim. Historically heard good things about this place. Came in on a busy Monday evening. But service was fast. Although it didn't come out all at the same time, it came one after another. And we have no one bad thing to say about the food. Every dish hit the spot. The server was nice and knowledgeable. The ordertaker (different from the server) complimented our choices and that they were top sellers. Highly recommend this spot! Will return any try other things on the menu!

My updated review! Good service and decent pricing. I got the chirashi bowl and my husband got the 3 item combo. The chirashi bowl was delicious and had the right amount of fish to rice ratio. The 3 item combo had a variety to choose from and looks fulfilling. My husband didn't finish his and was able to take some to go. Service was good. Server came to check once in a while. Also, the ambiance looks nice and decorated. Overall, would come back again.

My go-to sushi spot in LB! They have so many menu options and good happy hour deals. My favorite rolls are the baked salmon and honey moon rolls. Sooo good! Plenty of appetizer options as well - their calamari and zucchini are tasty! Friendly service, chill ambiance, and plenty of seating whether you want a table or to sit at the bar.

Great atmosphere and service. The food is delicious, can't complain. I'd highly recommend Sapporo Sushi for anyone who loves quality sushi. Will be coming again!

my first time here and the quality was good! the rolls and big. my personal fav is the yummy roll. we also liked their deal of buy a chef roll get one half off. we finished the meal with udon and it was delicious. I loved all the toppings I just wish there was more soup. The ambiance was very cute and it made we feel like I was in Japan. service was okay nothing to write home about. I would come here again if I didn't want ayce.

We came to Boracay for the weekend and decided to try Sapporo Sushi--and it turned out to be a great choice! From the presentation to the flavors, you can really feel the chef's attention to detail. Some of the highlights we ordered: Toro Tartare with Truffle ($15) - Rich aroma of truffle, absolutely indulgent in every bite. Salmon Mini Donburi ($12) - A petite salmon rice bowl, beautifully assembled and perfect for smaller appetites. Truffle Unagi ($17.95) - Grilled eel with truffle, a true luxury upgrade. Mana Katsuo Saikyo-Yaki ($9) - Grilled bonito with a touch of sweetness in the sauce, very flavorful with rice. Sukiyaki Beef Udon ($21.95) - A big, comforting pot of beef udon in sukiyaki broth, generous portion of beef and a hearty soup base. Sushi Rolls we tried: Smelt Egg SU ($5.95), Dragon Roll ($16.50), Captain America ($18.95), Baby Rockstar Roll ($16.50), and Salmon SU ($6.95). Each roll had its own character--highly recommend the Captain America Roll for its layers of flavor. Presentation was stunning--every dish came out like a piece of art, with details like truffle slices, caviar, and edible flower petals. Definitely a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Total bill: $155.51 for 4 people (~$39 per person). For such refined Japanese food, I'd say the value is pretty solid!

First time at Sapporo: Great service! Seems renovated, very nice atmosphere and interior decorations. The manager, Jin, was very attentive and welcoming; no push, all natural desire to satisfy. The fish quality - amazing. No fishiness, good flavors and balance. The hot food we ordered (Kani Fries and Baked Green Mussels) were nice and hot, freshly made, and delicious. Great deals on alcohol, got BOGO Orion beer! We just ordered sushi, can't wait!!

Some restaurants feed you. This place gives you a reason to come back. Fresh fish, great atmosphere, and the kind of experience that stays in your head after you leave

Come here with a brunch of friends and we all love it. The decoration was pretty nice and felt like I was in Japan. They have specials for either special rolls or alcohol and great place for drinking. I love the truffle tuna roll and it's a good portion. They can order the cold dishes for 2 pieces special which we love it. The service was great and totally recommended.

Eel and spicy tuna hand roll
    Lisa F.

We decided to give Sapporo another try. We eat sushi at least once a week. We are not into rolls anymore, so sushi can be tricky for us. We started with Eel hand roll and spicy tuna hand roll. They were more like tacos, but overall taste was good. Fried zucchini was good and well proportioned. Deep fried oysters were just ok. I think they sat in the window too long, because they weren't hot when we got them. We did get 2 rolls and they were just ok. Our service though was terrible. Place wasn't busy but we hardly saw our server. I can't say it's a place we will come back to.

The lemon salmon was amazing! The lemon added a nice, light citrus flavor that balanced the richness of the salmon. It was really delicious

Jap Chae - 5/5 I love that the glass noodles are bouncy and chewy. The flavoring is just warm and comforting. It's not too salty and more on the slightly sweet side, which fits perfectly for my taste buds. Don't get me wrong, it does have some savory but not too salty. Army Ramen - 4.5/5 the instant ramen bonhomie with my childhood and then just elevated with the sliced cheese, hot dog sausages cut up, the rice cake seemed a bit redundant on the carbs but texture was fine, and the particles of meat. Overall very satisfying and a bit of a kick to it. Perfectly balanced with the banchan

For dinner we tried the beef curry and chicken katsu curry. Both were delicious. I had the chicken katsu. I really liked the breading as it was light and crispy - not too thick or greasy. A really nice young woman who rang me up and handed me my bag of goods. When I got home, I was pleased to see that they had separated the Katsu from the curry sauce, so my meat didn't end up being soggy. Their curry sauce is different from most curry houses. There are some herbs in it that I can't put my finger on, but I love it because it's not like any of the others. Chicken was juicy and rice was fluffy. I also like their kizami ginger which had a nice solid crunch. Even though it took me a while to pick up my food, it was still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it. Very happy with the presentation and the flavour. We'll try to visit and eat at the restaurant next time. Parking lot is small and can get a little crowded with all the other businesses open. Did anyone come over to acknowledge it? Nope. We just sat there watching the host staff do absolutely nothing with urgency. But okay, we were starving, so we stayed. We ordered big -- like, embarrassingly big, probably 80% of the menu plus sake -- because we wanted to give this place a real shot. And look, some of it was actually great. But some of it was not edible. Not "not my taste," not edible. So we sent those dishes back, which is a completely normal thing to do at a restaurant that charges these prices. What happened next genuinely shocked me. The chefs took it as a personal attack. Rude comments, visibly annoyed, staring us down from the kitchen for the rest of the meal. We couldn't even enjoy the good food because the whole vibe became hostile. It were so uncomfortable that we honestly just wanted to leave. $350. That's what we spent. And we left feeling like we ruined someone's night by simply expecting edible food. The disappointment isn't even about the dishes it's the attitude from the front staff all the way back to the kitchen. You can train a team. You can't teach humility, and you damn sure can't teach someone to care. Do not recommend.

I always order spicy edamame, gyoza, salmon sashimi, yellowtail sashimi, and miso soup. It's so delicious I crave it on a weekly basis. Come here! You won't regret it. The owner is often behind the sushi bar completing orders and is very kind and caring. The food is mouthwatering, the presentation is impeccable, and the price keeps me coming back!

We sat at the bar and the sushi, chefs and server were nice. We ordered their spicy edamame which was loaded with flavor by far the best spicy edamame. I love the garlic and chili combos with a little citrus flavor. Also ordered the stinky roll, which is spicy tuna on the inside and salmon on the outside which I liked very much couldn't decide on a second roll so I asked the server to surprise us and kind of regret doing that because he had brought us a roll that I was already cringing at reading the description on the menu which was their long beach roll however, the crunch it had on the inside was very nice and not too heavy. I don't feel that asparagus should be anywhere near a sushi roll, but that was my bad. Also ordered their Yuzu cheesecake, which was a no for me. It was too strong and screaming Yuzu simialr to lemon zest and super tiny. The quality of the ingredients they use here are pretty good. I would come back to try other items, but I do not suggest getting their dessert or their long beach roll.

For the omakase we get a choice of three appetizers, two pasta dishes, chefs choice entree, chefs choice risotto, and a choice of dessert for each person. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's truly enough and you get a variety of choices. This visit we went with beef tataki, salmon burrata, deep fried oysters, shrimp tempura salad, eggplant and mushrooms pasta, Uni pasta, scallops risotto, and the prime steak. Each dish is an 8/10 or better. I would gate keep this place if I could, but many who don't know that good Japanese Cuisine is not just limited to sushi. Dessert? Yep, still solid. But everything else? Let's just say the shrimp tempura salad, beef tataki, tuna tartare, beef tongue stew, and mentai spaghetti formed a perfect little symphony of average. No 'wow,' no fireworks, just... food that exists. Servers were friendly, though! Probably because they had plenty of time to chat with the only two tables in the whole dang dining room. So yeah. Same same but different? Nah. Just same same.
