Sarabeth's Keywest is wonderful.  It is a beautiful comfortable space both inside and out on the patio.  The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is innovative and delicious. We came here for dinner and it was so delish, we came back for breakfast, and we will comeback again next time we are in Key West.   The whole fried boneless yellow tail was ingenious!  And, the shellfish cakes were delicious.   The service and ambiance of the location is cozy and fun as well.  Milos is like a Hemingway cat; you just want to scoop him up and take him home with you, but my husband tells me there is a local ordinance forbidding the abduction of Key West residents.  Local ordinances suck!   Breakfast or Dinner, Sarabeth's is sure bet for fun and great food.  Don't steal the Milos.  ::sigh:: read more

We called ahead and carried out from Sarabeth's since we were staying at a nearby hotel. It was great! The food was ready on time and had great portion size. We also got an order of the tuna salad which was awesome (better than the omelet) and that came with toast & tomatoes. Definitely try it if you are seeking out a nice brunch! read more

We visited Key West for 3 days. While walking early one morning we heard a waiter happily singing and getting ready to open. His excitement was contagious so we decided to hangout and wait for the doors to open. Best decision ever! Our breakfast was AMAZING and the mimosas were spectacular! We loved it so much we went back the next day. We were so happy the same waiter (Brad) was working again. This place is amazing. I forgot our waitress's name but she was so sweet and nice. The food was really good. The price was affordable. The mimosas were actual mimosas with real nice champagne. Not the cheap stuff that gives you a headache the next day. The setting is really small and cozy. We went on a Tuesday morning so it wasn't packed. There is outdoor sitting available. I definitely plan on going back and trying their other location in NYC. Please look at the menu before you go and the website because they do not allow splitting the check. Had one big concern which was the specials we ordered. The waiter failed to inform us that each special cost over double the price of a regular entree. We were shocked to see our check when one surf and turf and a lobster tail risotto totaled $99 each. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and managed numerous restaurants I found this extremely deceptive and feel like the price should have been disclosed prior to ordering, seeing as it is double the price of every other entree on the menu!! Judging by other reviews I've read here, this seems to have happened with other patrons in the past quite often. Hope they change their policy in the future before other patrons fall for this trap. Me and my dinner guests won't be returning even thought the food was good, it's didn't warrant the hefty price tag and the feelings of being duped!!! read more

Food was so far beyond excellent!!! We loved the menu but ended up ordering the evening specials (one was scallops and the other surf and turf). Amazing! Great food and even better service! Our server was extremely apologetic that the people seated at our table from an earlier reservation had not left yet. Once they left about 15 minutes after we were seated he immediately asked if we wanted to move to the table and helped transfer all our drinks over. Our server was extremely well knowledgeable on how all of the food was prepared- everyone at our table went with what he recommended: - Tomato Soup: Delicious, creamy, with enough chunks of tomato left in it for added texture. The soup came out a little cold but it was so delicious that we didn't mind. - Fried Cheese: It's fried goat cheese which has been topped with Sarabeth's in house jam. Delicious. - Calamari: The calamari was crispy and not overly oily. If I had to pick a side to not get again it would probably be this one, not because it wasn't delicious but just because the other appetizers Sarabeth's offers are so unique. - Shrimp and Grits: The first dish our waiter recommended, SO good. - Large Key West Shrimp: Honestly I got this dish because I wanted to a healthier option after eating out for a week straight on vacation, just do yourself a favor and get the shrimp and grits if you're craving a shrimp dish. This dish is still extremely tasty due to the coconut infused rice and sauce on the shrimp, but the shrimp and grits are still the best bite on the menu! read more

I had always wanted to try this place and this past weekend I finally did. It was a good and simple breakfast. I had the Goldie Lox which is their signature brunch dish. It featured scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and cream cheese mixed in. I thought it was really clever to add cream cheese to a scramble, making it very creamy and decadent. The dish came with a blueberry muffin that was soft and sweet. The mimosas were buy 1, get 1 free so took advantage of that. All in all, a good experience. read more
