The staff delivered genuinely outstanding service, attentive, professional, and consistent the entire time. The space was spotless, from the tables to the bathroom, and even the kitchen area was squeaky clean. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and prepared with care. This is the kind of place where the level of service feels like a Michelin-star restaurant, yet it's still fast-casual, which is rare. FYI: Kitchen items (e.g., things like chicken tenders) will require a 15-20 minute wait. With that out of the way, on to the review. I noticed this new spot and figured why not undo my gym workout and get something fun to eat. Sardis has a very intensive menu of various items that include charbroiled chicken, Latin specialties, fish, salads and sandwiches. In my opinion, Sardis offers a little of something for everyone. For my dining pleasure, I went with the chicken tender platter, which was about 12 bucks. This is came with three large chicken tenders with two sides. From what I remember, there were at least 10 different sides that one could choose. I went with a side of cole slaw and fried rice. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, and the platter was served with very generous helpings. My only (minor) issue with the food was that chicken tenders were a bit too salty for my taste. Other than everything was A-OK. The service team was very professional and nice. Also, the restaurant was very clean and has that shinny, new look. I even noticed team members cleaning areas a few times during my meal. Since the shopping center where Sardis is located isn't super busy, I do not think there should be a problem with finding parking. Looking forward to keeping this menu on my list. read more

There has always been a battle in my family about which restaurant: Sardi's or another Peruvian restaurant is the best? In an effort of fairness I tried the new Sardi's in Rockville. I really like how it is organized. You walk in and order your food cafeteria style. The service was fabulous. I was waited on right away. The lovely young lady that helped me was friendly and gave me her favorites to order. I ordered a three piece dark meat chicken platter that comes with two sides. The pieces of chicken were much smaller than I expected. They did have a good flavor. I also ordered the yucca. I got 7 pieces of yucca. My other favorite restaurant would have given me a much larger portion. The salad was fresh and full of flavor. I loved the way they packed it for travel. Everything stayed fresh and didn't ruin the other parts of your meal. I also ordered an empanada. That was delicious. But, the outside dough reminded me more of an egg roll, than an empanada. It was very good. I also bought two cookies. They were excellent. The restaurant itself is clean and well organized. read more

Love the chicken @ Sardi's - first ran into the chain on a trip, so I was happy when this one opened in Rockville. Consistently high-quality food. Service is pretty quick for the charbroiled chicken selections - I however like to go rogue and order their grilled chicken sandwiches which take longer to prepare. Sides are great - place does a great to-go business.. ambiance is that of a former Boston Market...as that's what it was a few years ago ;) - there is adequate seating if you want to dine in. If you haven't tried Sardi's yet & like Peruvian chicken - highly recommended! read more

On a rainy Sunday night, we decided to try out the Sardi's by the Loehmann's Plaza (a.k.a. Chuck-E-Cheese) on Randolph Road. We ordered a Chicken & Cheese Sandwich (grilled chicken with onions, lettuce, tomato & mayonnaise with peppers and melted cheese) and a Fried Fish Sandwich (seasoned fried whitefish with lettuce, tomato, and salsa remoulade on a buttery brioche bun). The place was crowded and it took a little while to get our order, probably because they have all kinds of roasted chicken on racks, but a chicken and cheese and a fried fish sandwich are likely made from scratch. But I have to say, that was one of the best fish sandwiches I've had in a long while. And shout out for their plantains - sweet, filling, and a huge portion! This place was EXCELLENT. I think I've tried every Peruvian chicken franchise chain in the DC area and Sardi's beats all of them hands down. Juicy chicken, amazing empanadas with great dough and filling. The yuca was crispy on the outside and tender inside, great fried plantains and the onion salad, wow! I could eat whole bowls of it. Service was great and attentive with a special shout out to Mr. Juan. I've already forgotten about all the other Peruvian chicken chains I used to frequent. This is it. I have eaten at Sardis before but not this location. Was very glad to see it in the neighborhood. Tried the grilled shrimp skewers with chaufa and plantains. Couldn't have been happier. Shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. Sides were very good as well. It's not the cheapest lunch but I'd rather pay a few dollars more for quality. Definitely will be back! read more

As we entered, we were greeted with warmth and smiles . Given each a copy of the menu . Staff behind the ordering, very courteous and willingness to offer help is awesome . We were given a choice where we wish to be sited . Assisted us with our meals to our assigned table . What's so awesome is how staff keep offering their assistance and with a smile . Liliana came to us and I asked her if there is plantains . She said Yes and I ordered . First , she informed us that plantains were being prepared . She then helped us and given the size we ordered. Am Vince is up to par . We surely enjoyed our food but most specially the service the entire staff shows. Lilian came to us to inform us our order is ready . I've dined at all the Sardi's in the area. Last night, my family and I stopped by this new location. They didn't disappoint. From the empanadas, to the arroz chaufa, the fried yucca, the steak bowl, and the alfajores...everything was delicious! The staff were friendly and super helpful! The food, especially the chicken is very tasty. The variety of sides is nice. I've tried the plantains, the french fries, the Brussel sprouts and the fried rice. All were really good. The staff are incredibly cordial and helpful. They help to make the experience a nice one. I always like a self-service soda dispenser as well. I plan to return to this location again soon. read more
