    Chicken Teriyaki

Ok. Hands down probably the best teriyaki chicken place that I've tried. I would've gave 5 stars but the staff is not very friendly. Yes, they're fast. Yes, they're efficient. Yes, the food is delicious. BUT damn, I know nobody wants to work but at least try to act like ya do. Anyways, I'm always getting the Teriyaki chicken that comes with rice and mixed veggies. My coworker gets the chicken and shrimp over rice and my other coworker gets the chicken and shrimp over noodles. Everything delicious. I haven't tried the egg rolls but my coworkers keep getting them. I get the dumplings and I'm never disappointed, they're fried duh. I'm constantly ordering here from doordash. Highly recommend!

Good tasting! but not panda good... Had the vegetarian soba (noodles) It was only $3.99 it's in the pen square mall and only took about 3 minutes but it wasn't too busy at the time. Teriyaki sauce makes this dish a little better!

Sarku Japan gets 5 stars because it's the best fast-food around. They are constantly cooking because the line never slows down. My food is always fresh and steaming hot. I always order the teriyaki chicken, white rice, and veggies. I also ask the cook for extra teriyaki sauce because it's so delicious. My daughter loves the chicken and noodles., which are also very good. They fill the to-go boxes so full, so we always have extra. It's super cheap to get double meat, but honestly they put enough chicken on the regular portion. I eat here every time I make it up to Penn Square Mall.

Located inside Penn Square Mall for your shopping convenient. It is pretty decent for the price you pay. My mom and I love to eat here when we shop together. We always order the chicken teriyaki with vegetables and fried rice. The people who work here are jolly most of the time. They hand out free chicken samples when you walk by. It'll always be one of my favorite places to eat in the mall because it's a memory my mom and I have shared for a long time. Be sure to ask for a stamp card. Every 5 purchases get you a free entree.

Not bad. Got beef and shrimp. Veggies and noodles. U gotta try the noodles!! Wow..amazingly sweet!! Beef is charbroiled, tiny shrimp... Not bad for under ten bucks. I will be back!! The cook was new..maybe why it was a little salty..not bad for being new. Great job with noodles..and I never eat noodles!!

Chicken teriyaki is delicious and it's their signature dish so you really can't go wrong. The boyfriend ordered beef & shrimp teriyaki and he doesn't like it as well as the chicken. Got some maki rolls and they are interesting, to say the least.

Coming from Texas, I wasn't sure, but it was so delicious that I came back two days later with friends. Love how the chips and salsa are served in individual portions. Want to double dip? Go ahead, it is all yours. Had fish tacos with beans and rice. The Daily Fish A La Playa Tacos were delicious. I got the cod fish tacos, one fried and one grilled. Loved the mesero slaw and the small cup of black beans with arroz blanco. Two days later the fish of the day was tilapia, so I went with a combo of a blackened salmon tacos and an atun ahi taco. The seared ahi tune was sprinkled with sesame seeds, pico and a roasted red pepper drizzle. The blackened salmon were topped with corn and avocado. Nice to be able to get one of each. Thanks to our waitresses for the great service and for packing my extra taco to go with some delicious chips and salsa. Airplane snacks, anyone?

We were greeted and seated quickly, no reservation required. Our server was friendly, but not entirely knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, far and away our favorite menu item was the queso fundido. If you love cheese, and we certainly do, please don't skip this delicious appetizer. We ordered a couple of the entrees, which were elegantly plated. I most enjoyed my cheese enchilada (although it had a fancier name that I don't recall).

I ordered my food to go and ate some in the restaurant. The chicken fried rice was delicious and they had all the sauces for it right there for you to use. I also tried the mango street food dish because mango is my absolute favorite fruit. It was similar to mango with tajin with some syrup like juice. Unfortunately the mango was not ripe and for $10 I didn't feel this was worth it or suitable to be served as it was unripe and unappealing due to it. I did however love the drip coffee with condensed milk. Such a classic staple and I'm happy I got it. Definitely gave me an afternoon boost! I'll go back to try more dishes for sure! Everyone working was very nice and polite.

Nothing can better demonstrate my point except a direct quote from one of the workers "It seems like people with the name Tuan are usually handsome." I may have taken the statement face value but I can't argue with that. Let's get back to Maya's Kitchen, shall we? I love the yellow wall paint, ceiling fans, and tables and chairs. Everything looks spotlessly cleaned. The menu offers a variety of food options. I like the inclusion of street food although I did not have a chance to try during this visit. The crab meat soup and the Hanoi Chicken Combo Noodle Soup were good. The crab meat soup was the better soup, especially if you add a thousand year egg to it. The broth of the Hanoi Chicken Combo Noodle Soup was rich and flavorful but I would say most people would prefer Vietnamese pho or Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, including myself. Based on the food alone, I would give Maya's Kitchen 4/5, but the compliment being taken face value trumps over everything else. Thus I am forced to give up the last star to Maya's Kitchen.

Originally had a 9 PM reservation but was able to replace it with a 7:15 PM reservation. Unfortunately, the road by the restaurant was closed, making it very difficult to find parking and being able to physically walk to the restaurant. Due to construction, we arrived at the restaurant by 7:30 PM, which, as stated per policy that 15 minutes was allowed in order to not get our reservation reservations canceled. My party of three was not able to get seated until a little after 8 PM, not sure why. I believe we were told that they were not enough tables despite our reservation. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal but my party and I were a bit confused lol. We were seated in the area of the restaurant that was a bit, secluded from the rest of the floor, I think there were only three tables total in that section. Our server was amazing. His name was Jason. He did such a good job at explaining the dishes we were interested about, gave us really good recommendations and took very well care of us. We ordered a lot of food! Appetizers, we started off with the Korean fried chicken, which was crispy and crunchy. I would get them again as an entrée. We also got the house rolls that came with a gochujang like butter, had a hint of sweetness along with spicy. I ordered the American Wagyu ribeye as recommended by our server Jason. He told us that the rib I would be so soft that a butter knife could cut through it, honestly, it didn't taste as amazing as it sounds. I hate to put that in this review, but maybe it was my unfortunate luck. No complaints though because it was still good, just not as described. Big old chunk of meat, so it was nice being able to take it home as well. I guest at the table ordered the bra, short rib rigatoni, it was very interesting to see the Korean flavors connect with pasta! The other guest at my table had the very short rib with sweet potato grits, the short rib was so flavorful that I'm intrigued to get that next time. I was pleasantly shocked at how much flavor and how tender it was, I was jealous. I'm a big fries girlie, so we ordered the side of fries with spicy ketchup. To my surprise, the ketchup was actually spicy. We also ordered the brussels sprouts as our side, it was addicting. Probably one of the best brussels sprouts I've had. The banana pudding and Keylime pie was for to go, and unfortunately for you guys I did not get dessert to go. Although I will not be able to describe it to you all, the two guests I went with said they were too good. For some odd reason, this visit was so much better and tastier. I would love to come back.
