Good gel pedicure! I called for an immediate appointment and they fit me in perfectly. They were very friendly and the ambience was very calm and quiet!

Not even one week later & 2 of my nails broke off (in my sleep). The nails on my left hand are WAY longer than the nails on my right- not proportional at all. She put on the acrylics crooked, and I had to ask for her to re-glue them. She looked confused when I mentioned they were crooked. They were literally applied SIDEWAYS. Super nice women, but 1000% NOT worth $78 (or $100 with tip). They do, however, give you a nice hand massage after. UPDATE: went back to get nails fixed and the ones she replaced already broke off again. See pic #2

This was my first time and I'm so happy with the results! Suzie was my nail technician and she was so kind and a professional who's been doing this for 12 years! I called about gel manicure but wanted tips too so they were able to accommodate me for that. I showed a picture of what I wanted and Suzie sure made that happen! With covid restrictions, they are very prepared. They had glass partitions and masks on. The seats between each customer was 6 feet apart. Overall very good at social distancing measures and very clean. Definitely going back here for my next appt!

Got my pedicure and it was great! The place is clean, aesthetically pleasing to the eye compared to the other nail salons in spanish harlem. Pedicure was $28, good price for the city versus $40-50 on Madison Avenue. The techs were nice. The only thing is I texted the # because I thought it was a cell and no answer, but they answered their IG. I was able to make an appt for my friend and I same day. They do lock the door and buzz to open. You can pay by credit card. They have sanitizer and open new tools from the sanitizing station. The only thing I wish was different was if the foot sinks had the massage thing for the feet since its not individual seats. Also, while drying they do have quick dry drops for free at no additional charge. Check their website to see what i'm talking about in terms of the foot sinks versus the regular massage pedicure chairs.

Not even 24 hrs. What is this?

Super bummed this place didn't work out! I got a gel mani and pedi (two different people did each) pedi came out good but the gel mani is super super sloppy. Like shockingly horrible. Thick chunky gel, very sloppy lines and the tips are chipping and it's been less than 24hrs. Surprised by the good reviews. Total waste of however much this was (with gel mani and pedi I was charged 72 bucks not sure much each service) Update: BY day 3 my gels were chipped in multiple places, I also took a closer look at my toes and those are that great either. I've attached a photo of my nails today after getting these horrible gels remover and redone with the same color....just as a point of reference.

Gel mani in a French pink, rose glitter color for my pointer and a cute diamond for my ring finger! Very natural and professional looking!

I did a gel mani, special mango pedicure and an amazing 20 minute back massage! Soothing music, nice ambiance, def recommended!

After much searching for a salon around East Harlem and the Upper East Side, Sathi has become my go-to! I love that they use disposable liners in the pedicure sinks, provide a set of nail filers for each customer's one-time use, and sanitize all nail tools. All of that doesn't go unnoticed. I even love that they warm the hand scrub they use to massage you as you get a manicure. It feels clean, friendly, and fairly priced with $30 mani-pedis. I've been here 3-4 times now, and the ladies who work here have all been professional, making it a comfortable and relaxing environment. Haven't experienced the uncomfortable chit-chat gossip like in other salons, just some sweet music in the background. It's been the best pick, and I'll keep coming back and bringing friends. Thanks for opening a great salon in the neighborhood!

After another salon ruined my nails just a few days prior, I came to Sathi's and they saved the day! This is my second visit here. The first time I came for a pedicure and was happy with the results, so I thought I'd give the place a try when I noticed they do SNS/dip powder nails. The shop is very clean and relaxing. Everyone is very friendly attentive. When I walked in there was a bit of a wait but she asked that I come back in 1 hour. I came back in an hour and was serviced within a few minutes of coming back. I appreciate the honesty because other salons would have just had you sitting there for an hour. All in all Sathi's is a good, reasonably priced nail shop in the area. Very clean and quiet environment. And good color selection for gel, dip, and regular polish nails.

I have to say I was thoroughly impressed by this nail salon. The customer service is amazing. The employees that work here are so incredibly kind and considerate. I laughed the whole time that I was in my nail appointment. The employees are so welcoming and aren't afraid to take on a design challenge such as the cloud design that I requested for my nails. The salon it's self was very clean and well-kept. I loved how they made sure that everything was sanitized and was up to Covid guidelines. My favorite part was when the employees and I started singing along to Christmas music that they put on. They also have fabulous art that they display amongst their walls that is just amazing to look at while you're doing your nails. I highly recommend people to this place.

So happy to have finally found a place worth going to, after extensive yelp search I came upon this place. After reading a few reviews on Lydia I absolutely had to make sure to book with her. Absolutely in love super clean, COVID protocols are taken, doors are kept closed at all times until you ring. Thank you so much Lydia for making my nail wishes come true. Highly recommend.

    Amazing mani at Sathi Nails

Sathi Nails is amazing. This has been my go-to spot for the past year after moving into the neighborhood. Pricing is good, space is very nice and clean, owner and technicians are great at their work and don't disappoint. I get gel manis and regular pedis regularly here and recommend you do too. I'm not very into designs but they post some very cool things on IG so will try soon.

My first time here. Very clean and spacious place. Very efficient service. Got myself a Manicure and Pedicure. The girls: Ambika and Suzy did a great job. I am glad I found this place. Highly recommend this. They even have other services such as waxing, threading and facials.

100$ for bumpy work, lack of product on entire nail and simple artwork that took almost 30 minutes.

Shaking my actual head. I've gotten my nails done in super expensive locations before such as midtown manhattan and the Hamptons. For 100$ the work came out flawless. In these pictures you see bumpy work, lack of gel powder on the entire nail and a flower that took almost 30 minutes to do. The pedicure was good no complaints there. But if you need your acrylics done, you might as well go to a nicer area in midtown (on 34th and park). They're worth it and accommodating. This place...please improve your work or lower your prices. Definitely leaving a review on better business bureaus...this is not what I wanted for my 25th bday. The two stars are for the accommodation of being 30 minutes late to my appointment and the fact that the technician was having a really hard time but persistently tried her best. However this was not 100$ worth of work. And to clarify this is a regular pedicure and these are gel powder (SNS) acrylic nails with two designs.

When I first started coming here, they were very nice. They use to put a lot of effort into their work, The passion was there. However, over the years the quality of service has gotten worst with each passing year. First of all the shop is "Matchbox" size and can hold about 20 people including workers, you would think all the millions she's made there over the years she would have upgraded her space, cause the prices surely have inflated over the years. I use to spend $125 bi-weekly for a full set, pedi, eyebrows and lashes! Now the prices aren't even posted, YOU PAY WHAT THEY SAY! The gel selection is POOR & LIMITED, the "By appt" techs are sloppy and money hungry(Randy cut me twice) Did you know you can get an infection from being cut while being rushed out the chair for the NEXT PAYING CUSTOMER!?? ...But that's the shop as a collective and for the water down gel you slinging, y'all should be a bit nicer(In your profession & manners) There's no amount of wall paper or air freshener that will cover up this scam of a business. Cindy and Alex were a staple in the community, however they are TOO comfortable with mediocrity for me! I'm gonna take my coin downtown for a RUSSIAN manicure, where they cut your cuticles because it's part of the service. Don't EVER think you getting your cuticles cut(UNLESS ITS A PEDICURE) or a massage here!! NOPE! They would NEVER!!! Dishwashing liquid for bubbles, wild cuticles and stomped on GEL... this is not the 80's!! We want our gel PURE.. lol If this was 2001, I would probably recommended this business, but it's 2023..and I wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy! Customer service is key in any thriving business. Avenue Nails on Lexington Ave is lacking in that department. Invest in some NEW GEL ALREADY! Invest in a spot that can hold all 50 of us when you in there being careless and rude! That's the least you could do after all these years. You gonna lose all of your good paying customers soon enough Ms..waited 20yrs to put a credit card machine in the place cause you wanted to avoid taxes!! We're sick of your BAD SERVICE...and I'm so grateful for places like Yelp & TikTok where customers can let others know where NOT to spend our hard earned coin. 0 STARS for me! All good things must come to an end and this is the end for me! FYI.. Top Nails right across the street has plenty of room, a larger gel selection and they cut and massage & it's spotless! Go figure!!!!

Though I didn't see them thoroughly clean or sanitize anything between customers they simultaneously worked on in that dirty salon. She didn't even apologize for the bad customer service, the state of the place, the length of time it took for basic full set or overcharging for basic services they didn't correctly do. Not deleting this review now. Dear owner, deleted your message and blocked you... good luck sis, stay blessed. UPDATE:: took off my nail and got a freaking fungus infection..... don't go to this dirty salon!!!!!!!!!! First off. It took two hours to get my nails done today. Walked in at 10:30 walked out at 12:30!!!??? Ridiculous. At first told the wait was 15 minutes. But then they take other clients while they do your nails. The place isn't that clean and they charge for dumb things. I paid $10 for nail removal when they did nothing but soak them and I took them off myself. So I basically walked out paying almost $50 for very basic full set acrylics. To add to it the process was so long even after I explained I'll leave with a half job so I could make it to my plane on time.

This place is on the 2nd floor so you need to go up some steep stairs, once inside, it's a pretty simple yet spacious room. I asked for a regular mani pedi and they told me it was $40, cash only. The person who worked on my nails was very nice, I thought she did a good job at cleaning up my cuticles and scrubbing my feet. I picked 2 different colors for my hands and feet. I thought she did a good job overall but maybe the quality of the regular nail polish is pretty bad because even after I waited quite a while for my nails to dry they still smudged. The polish on my hands has bubbles and just looks very messy once you look at them up close. It seems like most people come here for gel or acrylic so they don't really put much thought into regular polish. I'm giving them 3 stars because the girl was very nice and she did a good job but clearly the polish looks bad. After spending $40, I feel like I could have done my nails myself.

Let's start with the positives. Pros: The inside was really cute and well decorated. The woman who did my toes did a great job and I feel like I was able to communicate well. Also, they have a wide range of colors. They stay open later than most nail shops in the area. Cons: my nails chipped after 2 days!! I got SNS dip powder nails that usually last 3 weeks (when I get them done elsewhere). But when I got them done here, they didn't have the SNS dip powder top coat. So they had to use gel top coat. I told her that that wouldn't work and that she should have told me before that she didn't have the right top coat. But there wasn't much else she could do. And just as I predicted, my nails chipped. They started chipping after about 2 or 3 days with the most basic activity involving my hands. Second con, the price. I paid almost $100 for a regular pedicure and a dip powder manicure. And two acrylic toenails. Overall, I probably wouldn't go here again. But they did do a decent job on my pedicure. ‍
