I used to come here when it was managed by Gracie and they used to provide good service! This place is horrible now the woman in the third chair messed up my nails and proceeded to over charge me! I then told her because she changed the price after telling me one price I will not be tipping! She was extremely disrespectful and her coworker proceeded to disrespect me as a customer! They have prices posted but tell customer those are old prices but never post the new prices! They are extremely rude to their clientele that are people of color! I moved out of this neighborhood about 9 months ago. But I always miss the salons that don't charge an arm, and a leg. So I walked myself over to 110, for some tips. I didn't wait long, it just took me awhile to pick a color (I always end up choosing black anyway) my nail tech Did a great job, but the women in the salon are very hostile. I said absolutely nothing to the woman sitting next to me but I guess she had issues. I also made a joke about pedicures, but then resulted in a side eye. Oh well! Well I've been here multiple times and this was my go to spot. The problem is the Spanish ladies who use to do pedicures are no longer here. I had asked about merci, Carmen and daughter, but it looks like they all left back to their country. At least that's what they told me. So far pedicure went up as well $25 for regular pedi , & dipping powder remains the same. $35 on regular nail. not sure now how I feel when it comes to doing pedis. Guy spend less than 20 min doing my toes. Including painting toes I honestly don't like that. It's not the same treatment or cleansing that you would get for a pedi. Traveled from LES to get to this nail salon! it's a no-frills place but they are so friendly and do such a good job and are SO cheap. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and walked out with exactly that. They are skilled with acrylics as well which seem to be a fading trend. read more

I was extremely cautious getting my nails done here because I had such a terrible job done on my nails last time I visited. I got a red dip powder on my nails and there were so many lumps and they were so thick. My natural nails are really short, so my nails looked CRAZY. I walked in to this salon as a last resort & I was lucky enough to have Lily do my nails. She took her time, she was so neat & very sweet. I did a white dip powder gel & it's exactly what I wanted. My manicure didn't have lumps or were thick, they look so neat. Lily really made up for such a bad experience. They apply lotion & a warm towel at the end of your manicure which I think is a really nice touch. It's really a hit or miss depending on who does your nails. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for YEARS. The current workers suck, they're rude, SUPER unorganized and VERY unwelcoming. I walked in today was NOT greeted or asked anything, 10 mins AFTER I signed my name upon arrival they told me " it's going to be a 2 hr wait" like if I wasn't welcomed. Hands down the WORST place I have ever gotten my nails done at. First of all they made me sit and soaking my hands in alcohol for over an hour, and when I told one of the women that my hands literally hurt, she said "no hunny, keep soaking your hands". I put my name down at 12:30 and I was soaking my hands from 12:30 to 1:50, that's a literally over an hour. Two, when I walked in I showed the owner the design that I want. She said the UV gel plus the design would come out to $85, but she assured me that she can do the design. When I finally got one of them to start on my nails, The woman was so rude and completely rough with my nails after informing her numerous times that my nails are sensitive. She consistently kept filing my nails down with the machine after I told her my nails are literally burning. after a few minutes, The pain was so unbearable I literally took my hand away from her and told to please stop. After giving me so much attitude she stopped and started yelling across the room to another nail technician. After she applied the UV gel I showed her the picture of what I wanted again, she tried multiple times and could not apply the design that I asked for and so after I told her to just do one color. I was highly irritated because I went in the nail salon hoping to get a specific design. This place is highly unprofessional the ladies are completely rude and have no customer service whatsoever. Will never go here again!! I will never recommend this place to anyone! I had to go there twice for them to fix my nails the wait time was 2-4 hours and it didn't matter if you where there 10-15 minutes before they even opened. A mani-pedi is $25, which is a good price even for this far north, especially when you consider that hot stone massage seems to be included in the pedi regimen, and the massage chairs are AWESOME. The powder manicures here last for two weeks if not longer every time. If you want a high quality powder manicure I would definitely recommend this place. I give it four stars because their regular nail polish selection is skimp and the ladies who do pedicures do not seem as if they are licensed. They basically cut your toenails, barely get to your cuticles, briefly scrub your feet and then paint them. The paint job isn't the greatest either. The clientele are generally friendly. Even though they get busy, you will not have to wait very long. I may go to other places for my pedicures but if I'm ever in need of a powder manicure I'm coming here. This place is HORRIBLE!! I made an appointment, they then make me wait over 10 minutes, I might as well have been a walk in. The lady who did my pedicure was ok, nothing special. Then this woman, who doesn't speak any English at all, starts to do my manicure. She immediately starts ripping at my cuticles, no oil, no water to soften them, nothing! She made me bleed on 2 fingers, I wouldn't let her continue. Then I ask the manager for warm water and a towel to stop the blood, she yanks my hand and takes alcohol straight to the cut! This used to be my to go place since it's so close to home. But their customer service is just so horrible that today was my last day coming there. They act like they're the only nail spot on the block lol I came in for powder nails, usually there's only 3 people in there that I let do my nails because the rest of them don't know what they're doing. The guy put the foil on my nails to soak (which btw they reuse that foil on everybody) usually you can let your nails soak for a few minutes and the powder comes right off. But since another customer walked in, he decided to keep me waiting with the foil on my nails the whole time he did this other lady nails. I had also asked for a 10 minute massage which I was gonna pay for and never got it! He just completely forgot about me. After patiently waiting 30 minutes I took the foil off my nails myself and they still tried to charge me $5 to remove the powder. They definitely lost a loyal customer. Helen, the owner, is Korean but speaks English. You can tell she has been around the hood a while cause sometimes she can get real ghetto when people come in acting stupid. Its actually comical! The mani/pedi is discounted monday-thursday. It's only $25. Other days I believe its $28. They have a wide selection of colors. All the massage chairs work. And with the pedi, you get a hot stone massage on the legs. After the manicure, they massage your back while your nails are drying. Zoila is my fave. She's gentle but thorough and does a fantastic job. They do the gel polish nails here! Its only $19! They do waxing and lashes too. The lashes are $25. I haven't gotten the lashes or waxing though. She does not use the harsh acrylic method but instead uses some fine powder instead which leaves my nails strong when taken off and it actually last longer then when I used to get acrylic powder. I really tried my best to enjoy this visit but it was terrible. I had to wait for about 45 min before every beginning service. The woman who was doing my pedicure and massage was constantly distracted and did not do a great job on the massage- the water was too hot. There were flies all over the establishment and I cleaned areas and piled trash which made me feel like it was not sanitary. I stayed for my mani pedi to give them the benefit of the doubt but the experience was BAD. For my feet I was very uncomfortable in the chair and she was hard with cutting my nails and filing. I paid extra for a little massage and she was distracted and did it with minimal effort. For my nails I asked her to cut and round them a certain way and she filed my nails so unevenly that I had to tell her to fix it and then I still had to fix them on my own later. The water used for soaking was cold. There were also very rude and loud customers there that the establishment didn't speak to regarding their behavior which made me and others there irritated. Overall I feel like I wasted my money because the nail polish was bubbling by the time I got home which means bad nail polish used. And now it's been two days and already chipping of my fingernails. Definitely won't be going back I'm so disappointed. What was supposed to be relaxing afternoon felt like torture. read more
