We came here on a trip to Great Wolf bc we wanted something other than the resort food offerings. This place is cozy and we were seated in front of a beautiful fireplace. Our waitress was very attentive and really helped us feel at ease as our toddler was making a bit of a mess on the floor. She brought us drinks & refills in a timely manner and had our food out as soon as it was ready. We got chicken teriyaki for our kids and they loved it. The sauce wasn't sickeningly sweet like at some places. My husband and I each ordered 3 sushi rolls and all were excellent: fresh ingredients, crispy veggies, and wrapped nice & tight.

Sushi and Korean food restaurant close to Great Wolf and Camelback. Driveway and parking is rough, small, and vest to find a spot in front of the defunct tobacco shop next door. Inside, a counter with several seats, four small 2-person tables and a round table that will seat 3 to 5. Tea and water readily available and a fridge full of drinks for you to grab. The dragon roll, skip as the eel is dry and like the one I make out of the bag from the grocery. The shrimp tempura isn't flaky, it's heavy and oily. The bibimbap is good, and they'll give you a bottle of red spicy sauce to add as much as you'd like. Get extra beef if you like that. The kalbi (Korean ribs) were overcooked and some pieces burned. The udon soup was nice and simple, group enjoyed two of these. Single bathroom, and relatively clean and a different flavor from the resort. Some good dishes and some not as good. The Korean ramen I'll have to try next time. Busy, they had a line waiting outside for seating when we left. And Yelp Eats and delivery signs.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon around 3 PM with a party of 6. The parking lot here is very small and you may have to park further down the shopping strip. This is a really quaint little restaurant. The decor makes you feel like you're really in Japan. However, the restaurant itself is small. There are only 2 large tables that hold 6 people and then one small table that holds 4 people otherwise you will be sitting at the sushi bar. This restaurant seems family owned and really gives you that personal touch. I ordered the beef udon along with a Mindori roll. The udon broth was very tasty although I couldn't directly pinpoint the origin of flavor. There were a lot of udon noodles but hardly any beef. Probably only had about 5 pieces of thin beef along with a few vegetables but what can you expect for $11. The Mindori roll had too much sauce on it in my opinion. Due to the overflow of sauce I could barely taste any of the tuna or salmon inside the roll. My cousin got the spicy tofu soup and said it could use some more salt for taste. Overall, the food tasted pretty authentic and wasn't too far from the Kalahari resort which is where we were staying. Will probably return back on our next time here.

My family and I came here after snow tubing in the area since we were craving some Asian food, specifically sushi. We were seated right away once we came in and the server was lovely. The atmosphere was warm and very homely, but the restaurant was very quiet. We ordered three sushi rolls (playboy roll, dragon king roll, and a spicy salmon lovers roll), spicy pork bibimbap, K-pop honey mild chicken wings, and garlic parmesan chicken wings. Overall, the dishes were alright, nothing special about any of them. Our biggest qualm was the price of the dishes. The sushi rolls all tasted very nice. The spicy salmon lovers roll blended together very well, but was overwhelming after a while. The playboy roll's sauce was good, no complaints here. However, the cream cheese on the dragon king roll became overwhelming after a while. Coming from NYC, the chicken wings were very subpar. Firstly, they had come out on the colder end and the garlic parmesan, in particular, was soggy. Second, we knew that there would only be 5 wings, but they were all pretty small given that we had paid $10 for the dish. The spicy pork bibimbap was also alright and overwhelming after a while. It seemed like there was an uneven split of vegetables and meat. Although the meal was enjoyable, we ended up paying more than we thought it was worth.

My friends and I ordered takeout from Satto Sushi while visiting the area. I was excited to try out their vegetarian rolls because they had some variants I haven't tried at other sushi restaurants. They charge $1 for a 4oz container of spicy mayo, which I was unimpressed by. I placed an online order for several rolls and upon completion, it said our order would be ready at a specified time. My friend went to pick it up and ended up waiting an extra 15 minutes because they were catering for other customers. Not a huge deal since that didn't put a damper on our eagerness for local sushi. The seaweed salad was delicious and well-balanced, a staple for any good restaurant. I was very disappointed when I opened a large container that housed all of the sushi together. I'm not sure why so many restaurants feel it's proper to combine vegetarian and fish rolls together, this shouldn't even be a thing. Vegetarian rolls shouldn't be combined with meat ones and really, there's no harm in putting them in separate containers. As for the sushi itself, I was not impressed. I ordered kimchi rolls that for whatever reason had tempura on them, so I had to cut the sushi in half and eat what was edible. The vegetarian rolls were very sloppy and didn't have any type of uniformity, so it didn't even look good. My friends were also uninterested in their rolls, and many were discarded, so it was a complete waste of our time ordering from there.

I tried Satto Sushi during the week and had their takeout for lunch. They have a lunch special where you can get two rolls for $13.95 so I got two salmon rolls and their salmon avocado roll. It was my first time coming here, so I had to park on the side of a large hill on the side of a highway to park outside the restaurant.... kind of dangerous but a lot of restaurants are like that here in the Poconos. When trying to leave the restaurant, be careful. When I arrived my order was ready and they were friendly. I asked for a spicy Mayo sauce on the side and they charge $1.00 extra for that. And it's a small container. I'm already spending close to $20 for my food but thanks for nickel and diming me. I went home and had the sushi. Each roll comes with 6 pieces. They pieces are small, there's a lot of rice and a tiny amount of fish. They also don't include soup or salad with their lunch special. So, I had high hopes for this sushi restaurant due to them having higher reviews. Satto sushi was just alright but I've experienced better sushi with better deals in the area.

Loved the place, it is a quaint little restaurant to the side of the road, a bit difficult to find even on a rainy night. We ordered veggie ramen, veggie sushi and veggie japchae noodles for our daughter. All of them tasted really good. The ramen was just perfect, steamy and spicy on a rainy night. The server was very polite, and accommodated our requests. We'll definitely go again if we are in the area.

This place is nothing but the definition of discrimination. I would rate as 0 if there was an option. The waitress showed a table to the family before us. But told us that they can't serve us, even though half the tables were empty. I have never felt more insulted in my entire life before. My kids were so sad this made the situation worse. I would sue them if I was able to prove it. There are many different options very close. read more

This is a great place for Japanese and Korean food in the area. Very close to great wolf lodge and camelback resorts. Their sushi are fresh and yummy. Fish and rice proportion is perfect. Udon and Bibimbap are good too. Prices are reasonable. Recommended! read more

Given that this is the only restaurant offering Korean food in a 60+ mile radius, it's pretty good! Plenty of vegetarian options. We got the veggie bibimbap and the veggie dumpling soup and both were good, albeit a little bland if you were expecting true Korean flavor. Surprised that they do not offer sundubu. It is pricey for the quantity of food they give you in each entree ($30 for the 2 entrees above). All in all, I have had better Korean food but the food is good for being in the Poconos. read more

Finding sushi in the Poconos was a task I had given up on considering it is hard enough to find any good food never mind a specialty like sushi in the mountains. After a Yelp search on a night I was jonesing for Sushi I decided to try Satto. Coming thru the front door of Satto left much to be desired decor and atmosphere wise, however, we bravely went to the Sushi bar and began our journey. The waitress and the two sushi chefs were very nice and accommodating. We ordered two specialty rolls, the Maui roll and the Haru roll along with the spicy tuna roll, spicy yellowtail roll, spicy salmon roll OMG and the shrimp tempura roll. Each one was outstanding and for some reason the salmon was ethereal. It was a Memorable sushi dining experience and one I can't wait to experience again. Thank you Satto. read more

We plan to come here every time we are in the area. Definitely worth eating here especially if you are craving Korean/Japanese! We ordered eel rolls, spicy salmon, volcano, shrimp roll, bibimbap, chicken katsu, ramen and kimchi-jigae (yes we did). Ramen is what you'd expect for instant noodles. The rolls were yummy and the bibimbap was delicious, but they were a little light handed with the veggies although the veggies tasted fresh. My daughter loved the kimchi-jigae especially the tofu! Chicken katsu was decent although my daughter needed an extra sauce. :) The restaurant is tiny-max of 14-20. We did take out. There were certainly no miso soup or salads offered complimentary with dinner which was a bit of a bummer, but wouldn't deter me from ordering again. This place is a good go to~ read more

Stopped by here from Kalahari resort. The place is small but was able to sit right away. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Food was very fast and delicious! I love the white rice. Its very delicious sweet japanese white rice. We had the bulgogi- very delicious with right mixture of sweet, salt and spice. Their Kamikaze roll was also very delicious! Place is just a little expensive. But food is really good! read more

Keeping things in perspective, this Definitely Do NOT get tempura udon. All noodle and vegetables with 2 pieces of shrimp tempura...The noodle and broth are good, but the whole dish was rather bare. Not worth $13. Jap Chae was the best entree. Seafood pancake wasn't too bad. Pancake could have been crispier. Ingredients were good. California roll was pretty good. read more

Delicious sushi & beautifully presented EXCEPT they put both our orders on 1 plate which was a bit unusual. The Korean dumpling soup was excellent & piping hot as it should be. Very warm & friendly people; in fact they even made us a special roll to try (on them). A few negatives: they were out of Saba & fluke. The place is small but that can't be helped. There are 2 names so it may be a bit confusing to find the place if you don't use or have GPS. All in all, I'd definitely come back but maybe make a reservation (they DO take them) since the place is very small. Also, they DO have take out. read more

Chomi is the sushi place in the Pocono's I've been looking for. I ate at Chomi for the first time with some friends from the Pocono area. Turned out to be a place I will very happily go back to time and time again. Sushi was very well made, staff was friendly, and the place (although small) was very clean and welcoming. As many of the other reviews stated, you can easily miss the strip-mall that Chomi is located in. But one you go you won't forget and will want to come back again and again. read more

We stayed at Cresco at the Poconos we saw some reviews and decided to come and try it out at around 8pm. We got there with two kids and I want to say that I was blown away by the service. They were so engaging with the kids and then came the food! Fantastic. Being from northern Va we have a good variety of food to chose but this place blew us away. Fantastic food with a mix of Korean and Sushi dishes. Try the squid and the number 273 on the menu if you like spicy - can't remember the name of the roll - best sushi and best squish ever. read more

We ordered vegetable dumplings and I did not like them they were hard and the peas we're hard and idk what was put in it but I did not like how mushy it was. We also got two rolls one salmon and the other tuna, they we're OK nothing spectacular. I had a beef udon soup had like 3 good pieces of beef and everything else was noodles and water very lil flavor. Seafood pancake was not cooked all the way through batter was raw on the inside. The people we're very kind but I do not think I would be okay with paying 50$ for what I ordered in a small cluttered restaurant not to clean for OK food. It's not that serious believe me! read more

On a romantic getaway with boyfriend. Looking for something different and found the yelp reviews. We went and its a small place but the emphasis is on the food. Sush and Sashima so fresh and good and some Korean food specialties. Would travel back up here from Wilkes Barre area again just for this food. I was skeptical of all the great reviews of this place because, really, good sushi in the middle of the poconos? Answer: YES. as advised, the salmon is excellent. We got several pieces of salmon sushi and wish we had gotten more. We also had the yellowtail scallion roll, spicy salmon roll and the fire roll which was quite spicy but very good. Value and quality both excellent. We ordered through yelp and brought it back to our room at Great Wolf Lodge. So much better and less expensive than eating at the Lodge. Highly recommend. read more

Great service with a super friendly staff. Pretty decent sushi for being in the middle of PA! The prices are on the more expensive side (about the same price you'd find in NYC or similar area). However looking at the lunch specials you'd get a steal!!! What I do have to rave about is the hot tea! It's homemade and has a different flavor compared to other typical hot rice green teas you'd find at Japanese restaurants. The rice really comes out which I enjoyed. The hot food was really tasty I'd recommend it over the sushi. read more

From delicious food to superb service, this is our favorite place in the Poconos. My husband ordered the Samgyetang, which was plentiful and delicious. The chef/owner even walked over and explained how to eat it since we had no clue. I got sushi and the Korean seafood pancake and both were delicious as well. Prices were reasonable, especially given how expensive other restaurants are in the area. Service was wonderful and we truly felt welcome. If you're into tea, they serve corn tea which was very good too! read more

I live in NYC and really have all the best sushi available to me, but I fantasize about eating here sometimes. I love the Fire Roll. It's the spiciest sushi I've ever had. I think that's what keeps me coming back. I've always meant to try Desaki, which is big and fancy looking and down the street, but I can't stay away from the Fire Roll. Also, when my sister and I come here we drink these delightful little sodas that come with a marble inside the bottle. It's become customary to drive somewhere to smash the bottle to keep the marble. I recommend this for both marble lovers and violent people who love smashing things. read more

We tried this restaurant on a recent trip to Camelback. Tiny place... Three tables and some seats at the bar. Everything we had was very good. Beef udon, bim bim bap, sushi and sashimi for two, a few special rolls. Sashimi was very tasty. Seafood pancake was also good. Would definitely recommend for any visitors to Camelback or Great Wolf Lodge and it's on our list when we visit in the future. Compared to the restaurants in the area, it's five stars. I just don't hand out fives often. read more

This little gem was an extremely pleasant surprise in poconos area. Chef and owners are very nice and very accommodating to our 2 year old baby. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Korea dumpling soup, bibimbap and sushi rolls. Food is fresh and authentic, true Asian flavors. Highly recommend!!! read more

The place was very small, small portions. We ordered 60.00 combination and was enough for 1 person. Please don't expect any service, this is more of a carry out place. Good for people who are not too particular about Sushi. My husband owned Sushi restaurant soooo..... Our bill was almost 100.00 for 4 of us, I have one child and I didn't eat but few pieces of roll, and rest of my family had to come back to our hotel to get more food. read more

I love this place. Small, quaint and great atmosphere. I've only ever gotten their sushi, but I have been 100% satisfied, every time. They offer brown rice and soy paper options, which is a huge plus. Prices are comparable to other sushi places. There is limited seating, as it is small, but they offer takeout so call ahead! :) read more

Do not get turned off by the very cozy seating space - just be sure to make reservations if you are planning to eat in. The sushi chef is an absolute perfectionist. We were amazed by our sushi plate, but even more so by some of the specialties that came out after ours. The food is excellent - the fish tastes very fresh. We almost had the place to ourselves since we had an earlier dinner, so everything came out very quick for us. As we were winding down from our meal, other groups came in and filled the place up. The hustle-and-bustle by the employees was organized and quick. I was surprised at the constant stream of food being brought out. A re-visit is in order for some of those other dishes I was drooling over! read more

In fact, my server never spoke to me directly about the issue after realizing there had been a problem; I learned my meal had been removed from the bill through another member of our party. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, especially on a busy night. What leaves a lasting impression is how those mistakes are handled. Our favorite Korean/Japanese in the area. This is a hidden gem and I'm almost afraid to review it as it might get too popular :) We are locals and come here at least one a month for sushi, ramen or korean- EVERYTHING has been amazing.
