We both had the Oglethorpe breakfast sandwich it was pretty good. Mine however had the potato's with it... do yourself a favor skip them. Fast, friendly (even on SCAD graduation day with a line stretching out the door) and the most amazing iced mocha of my life. Listen, I drink way too much coffee and could easily spend all day reading a book and burning more money than I should on pastries and lattes, but this place literally knocked my socks off with their gorgeous dark roast, the perfect amount of cocoa and sugar. I was looking for a coffee shop to study at, and I had never been to Savannah Coffee Roasters before so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a Vanilla Cold Brew, and it was great honestly one of the best cold brews I've had. But the main reason for my visit was to study and the WiFi at Savannah Coffee Roasters was very bad. I was unable to watch my lecture videos and my laptop buffered for 20 plus minutes before I decided to leave. I tried to use my phone to test the WiFi speed, and their WiFi was indeed very slow. If I come back to Savannah Coffee Roasters it will be to grab a Vanilla Cold Brew to go. read more

Cute coffee shop located off liberty street. So simple from the outside but once you go in, feels like you're in a European cafe. Serves a wide variety of coffee, teas, wine and beer as well as pastries. I believe they also offer breakfast and lunch items. We were looking for afternoon pick me up and this was perfect. I had the white chocolate butter pecan iced latte special of the day and the ham and Gruyère croissant. Both were delicious. Staff was incredibly kind. Interior has an open industrial feel to it with lots of seating. They case many appetizing pastries. I went just a few minutes after they opened and there was a line of maybe 5, but the service was fast. Worth the while to check out!! read more

Super cute coffee shop just down from our hotel so we decided to stop in on a cold Saturday morning. They were very busy, with almost all tables taken. We hopped in line and luckily were able to grab a table after ordering. Coffee - I special ordered my coffee, but it wasn't printed on the ticket, so ultimately it came out wrong. I did ask for extra coffee to add to it (it was too sweet as I prefer just 1-2 squirts of flavor vs the traditional 4) and an extra shot of espresso was brought right out with no issues! Hot Chocolate - The peppermint hot chocolate was good to my super picky husband so I call that a win. Captain's Plate - The eggs were very good, fluffy, fresh and seasoned well without being salty. The Turkey sausage was just your traditional patty, but that's all I was expecting. The toast was quality bread. The potatoes were good, but not great. Overall, it was a good portion for the price. Chicken & Waffle Sandwich - this was probably the only item we were a little disappointed with. The chicken was a frozen Patty. It wasn't bad, but just not a fresh chicken breast. The waffle had bits of sugar in it, and would have been excellent but was a bit over cooked and too hard to eat in the middle. (I am sure this was due to the rush when we were there.) Overall, we would definitely visit again, but probably try to get their a bit earlier to beat the crowds. read more

My first visit was a no go due to their Friday afternoon activities but Saturday morning coffee on the patio was enjoyable. After a long morning drive I was so excited to post up here with some highly recommended espresso and get things done! It was easy to find, right off the freeway and had it's own free mini parking lot but their doors were locked saying they closed early for a private event. A staff member told me this is a weekly or biweekly thing they do on Fridays so I can understand how locals would know but I was super bummed being a visitor with no notice. I came back the next morning and it was packed but I got a nice seat on the patio out front and enjoyed coffee there while taking phone calls and conversing with a couple very kind locals. The coffee was good, price reasonable, and cups were super cute. Overall, though I think people really come here for the environment. It has a very homey feel inside with the dining table, couches and fireplace. They have a ton of staff and everyone seemed to know each other. I'm not sure if they have outlets but I do know they have 2-3 wifi logins and you may have to check in with the front counter to see which one is best to join at that time. My wifi was a little slow but got the job done. They have a lot of gift options by the ordering counter as well, so if you love the brand and the coffee you can grab merch to go right there. Definitely recommend checking it out - while it wasn't my personal favorite, it may be yours! read more

Came here looking for a good espresso based latte, but walked out with a Paris Fog instead. Their Paris fog is made of the Paris tea from harney and sons which is already good by itself. But when you add lavender syrup and milk if your choice to it, it becomes more elevated! I wish they used a satchet instead of the teabag to make the latte since it's not a cheap drink. I wanted to see if there anything coffee beans to buy, but the shelves were empty. Not sure if they're out of stock, or just so popular that they were emptied out early in the morning. My fav: frappe mocha- nice coffee taste (not just chocolate milk in a cup) They have a huge selection of roasts to purchase. The only thing is make sure to check the welds on the outdoor furniture!! A bruise and a scrape later, I'm hesitant to sit on any outdoor seating again . The ambiance here is amazing. There is a fairly unassuming but agreeable outside entrance that makes you think this is going to be a good, strong coffee experience, but when you enter and there is a large, cozy room with a real fire burning: wow! The mixture of modernity with true comfort is very well done. I got a tasty peppermint tea that was perfect for my already over-caffeinated day and my husband got their house roast, which didn't blow you away, but was very decent. I think this place will be essential for any future Savannah visits. read more

I actually came to this cafe for a Murder Mystery Show (which was a ton of fun!) but after the show I did try a hot chocolate which was amazing!!! Visited here on a weekday to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. While the establishment was full, the service to make the coffee was exceptionally slow with the amount of people working. I was in no rush so it wasn't a big deal, just something to think about. The reason for my 2 star review is due to the quality of the chicken biscuit sandwich I ordered. It seemed like a frozen piece of pre-manufactured and breaded chicken was warmed over a biscuit that was not freshly made. Almost like a fast food joint. My Coffee-"Home" In Savannah! SITREP Sometimes *luck* is on your side and steers you in the right direction from the get-go. THE SETUP I had just gotten into Savannah the night before. The older man who works here served me and was my first impression of this place and he was really unfriendly, unhelpful and slightly on the creepy side. The coffee wasn't great.
