And the Aldi Finds- great random gift ideas, household items, toys, seasonal- just plain fun to explore! My absolute faves, seriously a fraction of the cost anywhere else, are assortments of hummus, specialty crackers, dark chocolate, nuts, berries...can you feel a charcuterie coming on? They also carry gluten free and vegan options too of items, and prices again, reasonable! If you plan to use a cart, just bring your quarter to unlock, and you will get it back when returned. The store itself is always clean, and the workers kind. They scan quickly, and you bag your own items. It is amazing how full my cart gets with spending honestly a fraction of what I would any other nearby grocery store. Can you tell- I do love Aldi! I overheard him talking with a helpless customer who was frantically in need of those weird saucer shaped nut butter and jam sandwiches. In her moment of need his patience and grounded attitude clearly set her straight and allowed her to regain her composure (I was very impressed). What I see in that young man is much more than another employee of the Albertsons corporation. I see an aged soul looking to be a vessel of release for these wandering patrons, a guiding beam of light cutting through the thick shades of darkness. It is absolutely clear to me that what the dug department has established is more than simply a system of operation, what I believe it to be is a temple of production. There's plenty of parking on site you just have to be able to find what is available. And once you enter the store everything is marked the owls are designated easy to follow especially with their mobile app shows you the store layout. You even have the option of purchasing the item via scan and go. That was able to find some T-shirts for family. The staff was courteous and gracious to help me when I needed to locate an item in the store. I will definitely be returning to a Walmart in the near future.

I was greeted and assisted by two gentlemen who appeared to be in management, and they were very helpful. Thank you -- I really appreciated that positive interaction. Later in the afternoon, around 3:30 PM, I called the store to ask whether I needed my ID to return the item, since I planned to walk back. A young woman answered. I explained that I had been in earlier and wanted to return an item. When I asked whether identification was needed, she said she didn't know and asked me to hold so she could check -- but the call was disconnected instead of placing me on hold. I called back immediately and a different representative answered. She remembered me from this morning and informed me that all I needed was the receipt. When I arrived at 3:56 PM, the return was processed quickly with no issue. I mentioned the phone incident to the cashier, and she apologized and said it could have been multiple people. I want to be honest: I don't usually grocery shop here unless I need something quick, and that's because I've repeatedly experienced attitude and negative energy from some of the female cashiers. My daughter has also noticed this during our visits. Today's interaction was the last straw for me. I've lived in Fresno for three years, and I try to stay to myself, but the microaggressions and unwelcoming treatment I've encountered -- including at this store -- have been discouraging. I no longer feel respected as a customer, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. My daughter will be graduating soon and moving on to dental school, and I've also decided not to continue investing my time or money in places where I don't feel valued. Just give my two more years Fresno and I'll be out of you all's way.
