    Lemon crepes and chipotle bowl
    Ashley P.

The texture of the crepes was good but I was not a huge fan of the filling, definitely hard to finish the entire plate. The bowl was actually really good and came with a generous portion of guacamole, I could get that again. It helped balance out the sweetness of the crepes. Overall good but nothing that made it stand out from all the other brunch places in the area. They have great deals on drinks though

Super cute little cafe on Melrose in LA. Went here during the Stranger Things cycling event thing. I would say this place is more of a healthy place and chill. Server was super friendly. Food was fresh and delicious

OMG ! The breakfast sandwich is a must! Chipotle aioli, bacon, lettuce, cheese, and avocado? Whewwww!!! It was also served with a side of potatoes. Everything was seasoned well and served pretty hot for a to go order! Highly recommend this sandwich if you're in the area! Even if you're not, UBER EATS the meal! 5/5

This was our first time visiting Blu Jam Cafe. The owner-chef was in the restaurant and was incredibly friendly. In terms of service, be ready to order through a QR code menu or the front register, which does ask for a tip at time of order. You can leave a tip at the register after the fact, too. The service was very fast, and always helpful. The food was very filling. The chef/owner said they cook everything fresh. The food was high quality, especially for the price! The bathrooms were clean, and appropriately stocked. There are also pieces of art for sale throughout the restaurant - which was a nice addition.

Blu Jam Café is the perfect place for a ladies brunch, a catch up meeting, a casual yet delicious café where it feels safe and down to earth and you are surrounded by lovely people! I went to Blu Jam for a meeting with my girls and loved every bit of this experience. I'd been to the one in Studio City but it's always packed so there's usually a wait. I guess people around Melrose don't wake up as early so we had a fabulous table and the always great service at our disposal. We ordered the best things on the menu and omg, they did not disappoint. The soup was spectacular and my eggs. We're cooked to perfection. It was a lot of food so we ended up with doggie bags to enjoy later. Loved being there enjoying such great tasting brunch. Yum! We will definitively be back soon!

Great breakfast and Brunch Spot with so many options. A lot of options for vegans and vegetarians as well as a lot of Mexican inspired unique breakfast dishes. Staff was super friendly and helpful. You do not get a waiter everything is either ordered at the front when you walk in or at your table online through a QR code. Food is cooked with a lot of butter. I got the blt and the bread was coated in butter as well as the side potatoes were great but very buttery. I would order the BLT again no buttered bread. The rest aunt was great lots of area to sit indoor and outdoor. We went on a Saturday at 10am and did not need to make a reservation and lots of street parking options. I also got the iced pumpkin spice latte which was great but very milk heavy and the ginger shot was Absolutely amazing! I would have one every morning if I could.

Comedy Goddess and newly hitched, Alyssa Poteet loved this (I can't remember what it was).

The lines around Blu Jam are not crazy now- except for Sunday Brunch. So I assumed the food has lost its edge But a friend who has been travelling world really wanted to go so we went. I have to say the food was excellent. Really fresh, made with love and great portions if you're hungry. To be this good takes a little while to cook to order, not just microwave. They gave us a wonderful amuse-bouche to share whilst we waited for food we actually ordered and had to pay for...A small pancake with jam (which is delicious and fruity and I'm a jam snob). And a creamy dip. I look forward to going back again soon, if anyone wants to take me!

Blue Jam was cool! Lots of items to choose from on the menu. When we arrived, we were told to sit anywhere given water once we sat. Our waiter informed us to order at the counter when we were ready and we did. The breakfast scrambles were good but could have used a little more seasoning. My crew really enjoyed the French toast. As we sat, we happened to get complimentary strawberry crepes, which were delicious and great way to make your customers smile. This restaurant definitely gives you a lot of food and we were all full and happy. The ambiance is a chill vibe with no frills, so if you like breakfast and a chill spot with delicious coffee and tea, this is the spot for you.

We visited LA for the weekend, happy to discover this place. Service was amazing and food was delicious. Really loved the taste and texture of the food and drinks were also good. Strawberry mint drink was our favorite but we did try the apple juice which was freshly squeezed. Actually went back and had it twice because we really enjoyed it, food was consistent both times. The staff were super nice, very welcoming and helped each other out. On our second time, we even got to try a sample of the strawberry crepe which was a nice touch Definitely recommend

The pork chops were delicious and packed with flavor, but the spinach underneath was a bit too bitter for my taste. The mashed potatoes were creamy, soft, and comforting. We ordered a bunch of cocktails along with a few glasses of red wine and champagne. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. We tried the Blackberry, Cucumber, Snow Pea, Tomato, and Daikon. The Tomato cocktail was my favorite by far -- savory, balanced, and not overly sweet. Blackberry was a close second, really refreshing and easy to drink. My first glass of champagne was unfortunately flat and pretty gross but to their credit they replaced it immediately once I mentioned it. Still, for an upscale restaurant, that was a little annoying to begin with. For food, we got the asparagus, burger, fries, abalone, and the bluefin tuna belly deviled eggs. The abalone was easily the standout dish of the night. Everything else ranged from just okay to forgettable. The burger sucked. Overall, I'd come back for drinks and would give the food another shot since the menu changes pretty frequently but this particular meal didn't totally hit for me.

Started with drinks and, honestly, can't remember what everyone ordered. I got a Desert Quench which has a tequila base and flavors of bergamot, lime, raspberry and mango. The bone marrow was like most bone marrow, you now what you're going to get, while the meatballs were underwhelming. They didn't look appealing in terms of color and flavor was lacking. Entrees, we each tried something different. The steak frites was cooked to order but really didn't set itself apart from other frites. The trout was cooked well, and seasoned nicely, but the purple cauliflower puree, for me, didn't come together in terms of presentation for the dish. The pistachio pesto pasta was very flavorful, mixing in the burrata on top and then the little pops of spice from the chili flakes.. Just a nice bite. Finally was the double wagyu burger with caramelized onions, American cheese and a sauce emulsified with bacon. Very tasty, and those caramelized onions just added another level to each bite. Overall, nice spot in WeHo serving up some tasty cocktails and decent food. Definitely get the pistachio pesto and double wagyu burger, but you can skip the bone marrow, meatballs, frites and trout.
