It's a stopover on our Road to Hana . It's a very lovable local cafe next the Garden of Eden. Coffee time. Got Their special Mango lemonade, Purple Taro mochi and banana bread. Good snack before lunch. The place is so tropical. Surrounded with plants trees . Tables and chairs are available. Self service

A must try on your way to Hana. Enter the Garden of Eden and you will find this gem. Not only do they have a wide array of yummy fresh food and drinks, but the service is so pleasant and kind. They also have a display of locally made jewelry that is a perfect token to remember your trip or gift option. They found out it was my birthday and even gave me a special drink.

My favorite stop on road to Hana. Everything is locally sourced and made from scratch, including the sauces and salsas. I got the hot honey ham with fresh pineapple salsa and it was delicious! They also have really yummy drinks and lemonades

    Spicy andouille

I did the road to Hana this was our first food stop. I went in June 2023 and I still think about the spicy andouille I had from here almost every day

This business deserves a full 5 stars! The categories at the top are pre-selected by yelp, it's hard to find a pre-selected category that describes food delivery and sea food delivery without a store front. But what you see on the website is EXACTLY what you get with the highest quality! Savor Maui is every foodies dream! Heck, even if you aren't a true foodie, but want to cook like one, you simply can't go wrong with any of their selections! Their meat is top quality and fresh, their seafood is some of the best and freshest I have ever had. Add some of their sauces or follow their cooking recommendations from their website and you will be the star chef for any occasion. They offer fast and friendly service, an amazing selection and deliver! Randy is incredible to do business with, he is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and really knows what he is talking about. The passion he has for cooking shows through in his selection of the finest ingredients and products. Savor Maui is my go to for anything fresh meat or seafood!

Think I left my retainer and case? Can you contact me? It was at your lemonade stand at the garden of Eden in Hana today around 2pm

The gentlemen working were amazing and after letting them know that I have a nut allergy, they made a whole new batch of poke so that I could have a bowl! They were very kind and did not have a second thought on making the poke to make sure I had a taste of their poke. They ended up slicing a whole new fish for me and If that doesn't show you their hospitality, then you need to see it yourself. Their fish was so fresh (ahi tuna), and the lomi lomi salmon was super refreshing. My girlfriend had the same meal but what they already had chopped up and she said it was just as fresh as the one they made for me. Definitely one of my favorite spots on the Kona side for poki and for their hospitality. 11/10 would come again!

They only had ahi tuna (either with shoyu or spicy) when we came and honestly it was just ok. The fish was cut poorly with small uneven chunks throughout and while the marinades were flavorful they fish quality was not great. The sides of kimchi and spicy crab were pretty tasty but given it's a fish market we were pretty disappointed. Maybe it's because we came around 1:30pm but the lack of fish options and the portion was pretty paltry. $20 for a plate really isn't bad but the scoops were so sad looking. You can see from the picture alone how small the scoops of poke were and the uneven small end pieces of fish.

When in Hilo, two must stop places are Two Ladies mochi and George's meat market! Back before 9/11…read moreever took place, we would stop at George's with our cooler bag and stock up on prepared meats (oxtail being my favorite) and head back to Oahu. Once 9/11 occurred it made stopping at George's a little more effort so that we could get frozen meat back home without ice. However, George's came up with their absolutely delicious thin beef jerkies and that has been a must buy ever since!! And now, they have the best snacks and energy bars! I've not been able to go lately but a friend of mine was gracious enough to offer to purchase for me and bring it back to me!! I feel ever so lucky to have bags of beef jerky and energy bars in my hands!! Hoping to get to George's myself soon!!

Have been a fan of crispy beef jerky since the first time I had it on Oahu a few years ago…read more George's Meat Market, you have spoiled me for all other brands. If George's isn't the oldest, original crispy beef jerky, it's certainly one of them. Reading reviews dating back since 2010 referencing their crispy beef chips, they have had many years to perfect their product. And it's true, once you try George's crispy jerky... paper thin, crispy like a chip, deliciously flavored... you won't want any other! There are one or two labels I do enjoy from Oahu still, given the choice... I will choose George's! So happy that Stacey, proprietor of George's, mentioned they can ship. Give them a jingle and get your supply now! So far I have limited my consumption to what I can fit in my suitcase. Traveling friends were laughing when they saw half my suitcase filled with George's crispy beef jerky. After making pre-arrangements with Stacey, my small reunion group was able to taste a number of flavors of crispy jerky. Stacey was so nice and accommodating. It's a good thing as, after gathering a bunch of crispy jerky, energy bars, and other snacks we must have spent about $300. And I will continue to send people over to George's for the most delicious treats and meats. I have tried just about all their flavors. My favorites being the spicy chili pepper and shoyu, their bulgogi Korean bbq, and their sweet char siu flavored crispy jerky. Ohh but wait, they also have really delicious energy bars. And if your lucky enough, grab a container of gummie candies which are kicked up with lemon peel bits. Meats, tender and marinated. ...Whatever your craving, get it at Georges!

They opened with beef tartare that ruined me for every other beef tartare I've ever had. The osso buco is legendary. Then came the double cheeseburger... and I need everyone to understand that I don't hand out compliments like ketchup packets. This is, without question, the best burger I've ever eaten. It's so good it makes you want a cigarette afterward--and I don't even smoke. I've come back many times just for that burger because nothing else I've tried on Hawaiʻi Island or Oʻahu comes close. Their tater tots have developed their own fan club, and the little bar with beer, wine, and cocktails makes it dangerously easy to linger. The staff is consistently warm and welcoming. After being away for six weeks because of a family emergency, one of my first stops after returning was this burger. It was still outstanding, but I did notice the beef patty seemed about a third to nearly half thinner than I remembered. At around $20, that's noticeable. I'm hoping it was just an off day because this place has earned enough goodwill for me to give it another shot. Don't overlook the butcher shop itself. The meat quality is miles beyond what you'll find in a grocery store. I bought their ground beef for a ragù alla Bolognese, and it was so spectacular that I went back specifically to buy more for homemade burgers. Bottom line: this is one of the hidden gems of the island. Come for the butcher shop, stay for the burger, and if you leave without wondering whether you should light an imaginary post-burger cigarette, we clearly ordered different meals.

Waimea Butcher Shop is a good place to try them, (it is also a restaurant)! You will be served with warm & friendly service. I found out that I enjoy the taste of fresh grass fed beef, while my family did not. They did not think the meat was fatty or tender enough. This is because grass fed cows are much leaner and don't have their feed come to them. Anyway, I enjoyed my dining experience here and if you're curious, you should definitely come and give it a try! If you're inclined and know how to cook a mean steak, and staying somewhere with a kitchen, grab your supplies here.
