I made an appointment for a mani pedi with an acrylic full set for my senior prom and graduation. I used to be a frequent customer and always had Tony do my acrylics. I'm pretty sure they changed the management and he doesn't work there anymore. I figured I would give it a shot because of how well Tony did my nails. The lady who did my pedicure was super nice and took her time to with doing my toes. She was really gentle and put lots of detail. The other girl who was supposed to do my acrylics after was almost pressuring me into finding a color for my acrylics before my toes were even done. She was not gentle at all with my hands and almost seemed like she was in a rush to get my acrylics done. My toes turned out pretty good but my acrylics look like they need a fill again after getting them done yesterday!!! I'm going to come in again later today to see if they can just give me another fill. read more

We had an appointment at 2:00 for three full sets and two pedicures... I ended up waiting over an hour to get my full set done while they continued to take walk in customers for pedicures. Overall, this is just a crappy experience. The employees are a bunch of punks - and you are nothing more than the $20 they want. They're more interested in watching their phillipino (?) or vietnamese (?) TV (sitting backwards) and mangling your feet. I was there for a pedi, and felt completely ignored. Seriously, I asked to use the restroom, and my technician tried to kick in the door on the employee in there. The whole place is just a punk-ass mess. The management should remove the TV, and all the male douche bag technicians. When I left, I tried to ask my technicians name, so I could tip him. He thought this was so funny, he launched into a full game of making fun of me. They were all laughing at my question of his name. He decided on Victor as his name. Whatever.... THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY. PAINFUL. WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. I've been getting my nails done at least 2x a month for the past 6 years and have NEVER had such an awful experience. 1. The place is extremely grotesque...It looked like they've never cleaned and the waxing room looked like a scene out of a horror movie. As for the bathroom, I would have been better off going to one at a ghetto gas station. I'm calling the department of health today. no joke. 2. I did not see even one sanitary tool used. No bins marked "clean" or "sanitized." everything is just lying around and being reused. 3. Instead of using a tool, the idiot that did my nails kept pushing my cuticles back with his jagged ass snaggly nails and made me bleed! I literally had to ask him to file his own nails. 4. I got a full set for the first time in a long time and I could not communicate with the illiterate people working there what I wanted. All they knew to say was "25 dolla." I literally almost broke down in tears from being so frustrated. 5. My pedicure has lighter spots than others, is bumpy, and for the "$15 special, I was in the chair for no longer than 15 minutes." I could have done a FAR better job at home for free. And the water was freezing cold because "the heater is broken." 6. He sanded my natural nails down so far that it is the next day and my nails are throbbing. I kept having to tell him to stop because it felt like it was going to rip all the way through to the skin. I have NEVER had this happen to me before. 7. They play the t.v. and radio at the same time so the ambiance is poorly decorated and far from relaxing. I went in feeling great and left in an awful mood and completely stressed out. The worst part is is that I payed $45 to be in pain, irritated and grossed out completely. I did not leave even 1 cent for a tip and I have never not tipped in my life. The only reason I payed was because I couldn't dispute my argument with the people there because they did not speak more than 5 words of english. Don't do it. read more

I had the girl do my nails (no name, not sure if she was even licensed because a certificate that was displayed next to your station was covered with another name on top, kinda odd. I wanted a gel manicure , payed $25 for an AWFUL job. SIX nails chipped the following day! When she finished with my nails , I kid you not I thought it was a joke. Uneven application and she painted on my skin of the sides of my nails! I told her to fix it and she said, "No it looks good. If it chips or you don't like it, come back and I'll fix it for you.!" I told her no way I need it fixed now. She rolled eyes and only "fixed" 1 nail. She soaked my nail for like 30 seconds and started scratching the gel polish off. So painful! I payed for my sister and myself and left because I was too frustrated to reason with her. I came back to talk to the owner, Jimmy?, he fixed my nails without hesitation, allowed me to choose another color too. Two days later , 4 nails have already chipped. Terrible place! Never ever ever go here to get your nails done! I'm from out of town and wanted to get my nails done while staying here, so I just decided to go to a close place by my dads house. I got a shellac manicure on Saturday around 11am. By 7pm I had one nail already chipped. Then by the next evening 4 nails are chipped. Which should never happen with shellac, and I know because that's all I ever get. They SHOULD last 3-4 weeks (and that's with working in a vet hospital!) WASTE OF MY MONEY! I'm so pissed. I used to come here literally every other Friday after work or at lunch. There is one older lady that is really aggressive and you can tell she is talking about you when she does your pedicure. I've had great pedi's and terrible ones. It all depends on who you get like most places. If the girl seems timid, she is new and I gave learned to ask for someone more experienced but then they rush you and talk about you. The part that made me stop coming here was a group of girls that also seemed to come every Friday night. They were heavily tattooed with bear claw marks on their chests and faces with diamond piercings on them as well (I am describing them so hopefully the nail techs will know who/what the problem is) and cursed the entire time, cackle laughed and talked about their drama with their "baby daddy" according to them, stepping outside to chain smoke, then have barking coughs from smoking. I come her to unwind and relax not hear these nasty girls talk about their health issues with their lady bits and drama. Turned me off that they didn't ask them to be more quiet or appropriate. I called in advance to get my nails filled. They said come in right away so I did. I waited for a while and finally got to start getting my nails done. She did not clean her station, used dirty files, and did no nail prep. If you get acrylics you know it's important to do cuticle care and nail prep before laying on acrylic to prevent lifting. I lay acrylic over my natural nails with not tips and she cut them short before asking the length I wanted. I have been growing out my nails and she decided to cut them to the length she thought. My nails were filed crookedly and not fixed at the end. Every file she used already had white marks on them and are supposed to be single use products. I still tipped because it was still time she took out to do my nails, but when I get home I see she charged my card twice. I called and they were extremely rude telling me they are too busy to fix it now and that they will "fix it later". Just go somewhere else. read more

They told me I would have to wait 40 minutes because they were busy since they suddenly had a bunch of people walk in but I was already being seen. Also one of the ladies that walked in and sat down and started getting a pedicure said can I also get a mani? And the lady said yes and went ahead and did it. So I would have to wait 40 minutes and I was seeing before her but the customer walking in gets to get everything she asked for? I've been going here for years, and I have to admit Jimmy is great at what he does. That being said, I'm completely done going there. Today is the absolutely last time I get rudely treated by one of their employees 'Kim.' I have gone in for pedicures in the past and Kim can be sitting on her texting or on the web, no one else in the shop waiting and she would not assist with a pedicure until Jimmy had to ask her to. Now today, this it, I'm the first one in the door, actually for several minutes and I actually spoke with Kim and she tried to seat someone who came in after me with no appointment first. These are very common practices I've seen over the years, I guess until it happens to you, right. So after overlooking several occurrences I now come to the conclusion, that some people are perhaps to good to work here in their opinion and I'm done. I have been coming here for about 3 years now... I went to one on Baseline and foothills and had the worst experience ever I wanted to cry. I was so mad I didn't just come where I love. I always get a basic pedicure and full set. They don't charge extra to get glitter type powder or anything and have over 100 choices. I love it. Place is like any other nail salon and the workers are funny but super nice at the same time. Don't be offended if they don't understand you, just play along and smile because the job they do is awesome! Just got the worst manicure. It looks like I did it myself. If you schedule an appointment, it means nothing. You still wait a minimum of 10 mins. The techs are extremely rude if you aren't getting a service that costs more than $20. The reviews that rate this place 4-5 stars are only because they got the "seasoned" nail techs. They are amazing! I got a full set of fake nails with gel polish and it was ONLY $30!!!!! That is unheard of. They were : clean, efficient, friendly, fast, and had quite a variety to choose from. I went there with my mom and my sister and i have to say that the pink and whites i got... I loved! . Also they were nice and very accommodating. I didn't feel like they pushed anything. They were fairly clean.Honestly, they could have been cleaner. they used a carbite drill on me, and then put it in a drawer, and then picked it up again to use on another customer. The don't clean those things between customers. That is a huge issue for me. I like the guy Tony- he did great on my sculpted pink and whites, but the girl that was helping him - he kept having to tell her what to do. It is like she couldn't do anything on her own. and her work was ... eh. Like she doesn't care. Not sure if I will be back - if i will i plan to be more vocal about the drills they use and question them a little on their practices. read more
