Then I tried Dearborn Heights a couple of years later. Same thing!!! I just tried this location in Warren, and it's phenomenal too. I'm not sure why I didn't post reviews in the past. These folks know how to make a great burger and a successful restaurant. Halal, fresh, well-cooked, creative ideas for burgers. Fries are good, but its the burgers!!!! They've earned your trying it!

They are located next to a gas station which comes in handy if you also need gas. I order the number 1 and my son ordered the pizza burger. Both were very filling and delicious. The original burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was pretty good. The onions and pickles were so good and I don't usually like pickles. I didn't try the signature sauce as I'm not a fan of thousand island. But many people will enjoy it the way it's suppose to be made I'm sure. The pizza burger was pretty cool. It had 3 nice sized mozzarella sticks on them and pizza sauce. We wanted fries and they only come in one size. The one size is big enough to share. We were suggested the lemon pepper fries and that was such a great suggestion. They are fresh cut fries and you can tell. I was happy they had regular fries and not the battered crispy ones a lot of place do. So they definitely will get 5 stars for the fries alone. It has some seating inside, but most people seem to get carry out. The men at the counter were so nice in helping us. They really suggested things we would like and we did. I will be glad to give them my business again.

The bartender was fast efficient and very nice. Her suggestions on the menu were spot on. The food was good, but the atmosphere probably was better if you like an upscale hole in the wall bar. My sandwich was delicious, and I would probably come back to try something different on the menu, this is a very inviting and comfortable place.

I ordered the fried breaded chicken wings tossed in buffalo sauce with a side of Ranch and Celery. The wings were pretty crispy and flavorful. However, a bit of a downside is that in my order of 20 wings all of them were all legs. There were no flats. Also, I only got 4 small sticks of celery (I wish I got more for the volume of wings I had). To reiterate, they were very tasty despite that. The service can be improved. It was very slow, and I feel like the server could have came by to check on us more. The server was pretty nice though. However, this seems to be an ongoing problem because I have frequented here a lot. Service speed is always a hit or miss. Expect to stick around a while. The Ambiance was alright. I think the booth area is being renovated, which is where I prefer to sit because it's way too loud on the floor by the bar. It was loud to the point I had to scream at the person sitting across from me so they could hear what I was saying. I should mention it wasn't unbearable, just not ideal if we wanted to have an in-depth conversation. I hope the booth section will come back soon.

The sandwich originated in Chicago, so I like that Matt & Mo's has a replica of Wrigley Field's ivy wall. On the flip side, I didn't like being charged a 4% fee for paying with a card. My wife ordered a pepperoni pizza puff along with French fries. The pizza puff fell apart too easily, and was basically a larger version of a Totino's pizza roll. The fries were standard. With my sandwich, I ordered poutine. The consistency and flavor of the gravy made the poutine much better than average. As for the Italian beef, it did not disappoint. I regret getting just sweet peppers, as I should have gotten either hot or mild peppers with the sweet. I did get the whole sandwich dipped in au jus, which was the right move. This was my first time having an Italian beef, so it's hard to judge, but I definitely enjoyed it. Next time, I will bring cash to pay, and might even try some of the other menu items. I look forward to trying Doug's Delight, as well.

I ordered the combo which is possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. Moist/well-seasoned beef, garlic bread with just right amount of garlic, italian sausage, and I added provolone as well. Everything meshed together perfectly.

The last four times my son and I went the wings were cold and chewy. The first time, maybe an off day but it just keeps happening and now we are done. The place reeeeeks of weed. (no judgement!) But, Maaaan it was painfully overwhelming. They are now including 20% gratuity automatically with no warning. This used to be in our top 5 for wings but no longer. No reason to go back. Next visit my friend and I decided to try their wings since they claim they have the best wings in the area They were as small as my thumbnail and cooked to almost burnt black. I ordered my wings plain and it came doused in hot sauce which I'm not a fan of. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she said well that's all the wings we have because we sell out fast. Fine no problem. I paid my bill, got a to-go box and gave it to the homeless gentleman on the corner of Dequindre. Hopefully he enjoyed them more than I did. Also want point out that depending on what night you go the clientele greatly varies. On the night with the wings it was a pretty rough crowd inside and when we were leaving someone sideswiped my friend's car. To his credit he did stop and apologized but said he had no insurance and took off. There wasn't any major damage and my friend was able to buff out most of the scratches. There's too many other places in the Warren/Madison Heights area for bar food that I probably won't be returning to Bugsy's .
