I must have gone in on a bad day or something, but from the moment I stepped in I felt judged, badly, and poorly. The person that "greeted" me (if you can call it that) seemed very disappointed he had to, and only did so after I awkwardly approached the desk. I was a little surprised at the representative, who just stared as I walked in, looked around, stepped forward, and looked back to see if my friend was done with a call. I approached the closest car to the rep. and looked at it for a few seconds, looked back toward the door and saw my friend was still busy. Looked up at the representative who still stared and I approached the desk. He seemed to be phased out or really disinterested in my business, and sternly asked "how can I help you?" A little confused but really trying to look over the unwillingness to help me, thinking, and hoping that I was misreading the rep, I said I'd like to take a look at a few cars. The rep looked at his clipboard, moved it toward me, then moved it back. He looked around the room and back at the clipboard, trying to find someone who was free to help me. Realizing there was no one he said, "alright I'll help you." I smiled slightly, trying to show that I didn't mind his unwillingness to work with me, that I was willing to start over and trying to appear as pleasant as possible. We went outside where we joined our friend, and he took us to see one of the cars I was interested in. On the way my friend and I tried to break the icy silence of the rep, but the first attempts were met with one-line dismissive comments. He opened up a car and said nothing about it, other than the fact that it had a radio (?) and GPS. He answered a couple of our questions in a rush, as if he couldn't wait to get us out, and told us it would be very expensive and that since my car wasn't completely paid off, the monthly payments would go up by about 80 more dollars. It was then that I decided to accept the fact that this person really had no interest (or need) to make a sale. We said that monthly payment is simply too much and he directed us back to the building. On the way back he finally responded to our (scarce) comments with something actually conducive to a response from us; his mood had clearly improved by me saying those monthly payments were too high. Once by the building, he started heading toward the door (forgetting I had said I wanted to see some other cars) and ranting senselessly about why the maker of my car isn't as good as Ford... I think. Maybe he was ranting about why my money shouldn't go to my car's maker, since he did mention it wasn't American... In any case, seeing that there was no point in pursuing the other cars I had requested from him, and by now angrily bitter at the treatment, I was happy to get out of this place and not contribute with any of my money to this representative's commission. This person never asked anything about me or my situation. He ignored our mentions of the price listed on the web and named random fees that would, pretty much, leave the price unchanged from what he told us. He never asked if I had any down payment or what my actual monthly payment goal was. Had he done this, he would have found out I am already approved for a 28,000 dollar loan, that with it, my monthly payments come out to about $430, that my current car is value is above what I owe, and that I am open to a slightly used car. I decided not to even mention this once I had accepted that he just didn't want to help me; when he wouldn't budge on the monthly cost for the only car we saw. After this experience, you can count on me never going back to this dealer, and on warning anyone that mentions they are looking for a car against going there. read more

Service Department failed at customer service today. The theme of the day was pass the buck. Firstly, it took forever to be acknowledged as I stood there staring at all the service writers. Then, one finally waved me into his office and left me the impression that I, as a customer, was somehow bothering him. When I informed him that I needed an oil change and that I received a notice from FORD that my car required a software update, he promptly responded that recalls are by appointment only and rushed me out of his office pointing me to the Quick Lane for the oil change. Zero effort, just passing the buck. He did not bother to verify that there was a recall. He did not offer to help me with the oil change. He should have at least offered to help schedule the appointment for the recall. When I asked via the website if you need an appointment for a simple software update, all I got was a canned email response saying you need to call the Services department. Again passing the buck. I got frustrated with the poor service & ended up just leaving to get my oil changed at the nearest cheap no-name tire place. Because honestly, why pay dealer prices for service when I can get the same crappy service for less? read more

I took my car in to get my Sync updated. My radio worked, my aux in line worked, but when I used the USB it wouldn't recognize my iPhone. No big deal, the online sync website said I needed an update. I bought my car used and it is a 2009. I took my car in on a Friday. They said it would take a couple of hours, no big deal. I came prepared with my laptop and a book as well. I went out to lunch, and when I came back they told me the update had crashed and now my radio was broken. They also left my car RUNNING with MAX AC on FULL BLAST for the several hours they had it. My gas mileage went from 24 to less than 5. They didn't reset my car either. If they had my mileage would have risen faster than it did. It took 3 weeks for the average (key word there) to get back up to 20. They also got grease marks inside of my car. I went back in on Saturday, sat around for several more hours for a whole lot of nothing to happen. They were fighting with my external warranty as well as the manufacturer warranty. Bottom line, they didn't want to pay for their mistake. Tuesday night I was planning on driving to visit family 5 hours away. I was determined to have my radio fixed by the drive. Monday was another wasted day of them trying to figure out who was going to pay for their mistake. It wound up being me. Tuesday morning I drove to Bestbuy to get a new radio. I was not about to pay $400 for a stock radio. I'm playing phone tag with the service advisor, Kyle Vogt (who oversaw my radio breaking and tried to pawn off the expense to my warranty), and it wound up with a conversation saying that basically I'm SOL. I bought the radio from Bestbuy. As soon as I did he called and said, "It may be too little too late..." and offered to replace the radio. As soon as I paid for the new one and had my dash broken down at Bestbuy. I bought an aftermarket radio (which I love) out of pocket because these 'jokers' couldn't take responsibility. Then they told me it was all for nothing. This ruined my weekend, took almost a full day of hours spent at the dealership, and cost me a ton of money. STAY AWAY FROM SAWGRASS FORD. read more

I drive a 2014 Explorer it is my 5th Sawgrass Ford... why do I continue to buy my Ford's at Sawgrass...its the service from Dan, the salesman who has sold me every car, to the amazing people who service my car. I had a tire blow out and when I called Rick my service agent he told me to bring it right in. I explained I needed to get back to work, he had Jess waiting for me and they took my car right away. Eugene came to check and see if I needed anything (he had helped me before) then Jess came to tell me about the tire and tell me they were almost finished. Diego (who is always kind and helpful) and Jess brought my car ready to go washed and cleaned with my new tire. Monday morning, I realized while going to the store my door on my Focus wasn't shutting correctly. I drove up to the service area at Sawgrass, confused if I was in the wrong/right area. A gentleman named Mr. Greene instructed me what to do, etc etc. Only to find out he doesn't even work in the service area. How wonderfully attentive he was! Greatly appreciated. Made my appointment with a very sweet woman...and came back Wednesday. Spoke with a Kyle in the service area and explained what was wrong, and added I thought I should get oil change as well. Every employee at Sawgrass has gone beyond my expectations in customer service. Its like they get vetted more then the FBI or CIA....LOL. Only nice caring mannerable people need apply. LOVE it! My only complaint,...and its taking a lot for me to do,...is I dropped car at 745am for the door. I just assumed who ever needed to fix or even look at the door would have, and I'd have an answer by the time 4-5pm came to pick up. I have to call the body shop now and make an appointment. I made a huge mistake, I went in and talked to this people like you would to a professional. Unfortunately, they have been selling cars too long. It is very hard to re-train an old dog, or change the spots on a leopard. They lied and misrepresented every step of the buying process, my mistake was trusting them, thinking as professionals they would tell me the truth. Do yourself a favor and find a professional body shop that is family-owned or a private one that has been open for years and has an excellent reputation. We strayed from our usual place thinking the dealership would do a great job keeping our car close to original since it was in perfect condition. We are loyal to FoMoCo -- family working for the company and are stockholders. Saying that, I would not go to this dealership for body work. Body parts not lining up and with a significant amount of gap, "repurposed" (used) materials, and parts that don't fit as well as OEM are not what I expected. After pointing out that the bumper didn't fit properly they just dropped the trunk a few millimeters to cover the flaw. Now the trunk isn't lined up with the fender. I have ordered better, pre-painted, bumpers online and for a quarter of the priced they charged insurance. I haven't looked at the car with a smile since I got it back. :-/ read more

Greeted me with a warm handshake and welcomed me by name - amazing. Eugene kept me updated on the status of the bi-annual service and promptly located me when the car was finished. Mechanic Denny did the service - as he always does...he seems to really enjoy doing his job with excellent attention to the details. Denny asked how the car was running and asked if there was anything special I wanted him to check while the car was on the rack. If I buy a Ford for my next car, I will buy it at Sawgrass Ford because of Eugene and Denny...they are the best sales people the dealer has!!! read more

Like a lot of dealerships, the service department will constantly try to get you to have maintenance or repairs done that are not necessary. I've learned to make sure I know what service my car needs and work around this for the sake of convenience. However, the other day I went for the oil change special, "The Works" when the service writer came and asked me if I had problems with my window I said no, it was down when I pulled in and it went up fine. He said it wouldn't go up. He conferred with the manager who told me basically it wasn't their problem and told an employee to bring my car up front, I was leaving. I've taken both my cars here for repairs and maintenance for three years. Now I had a window that wouldn't work. I took it to another mechanic who told me the window had come out of the track, probably due to the door being slammed. That wasn't hard to fix. However, when they tried to roll the window up being off track, the glass hit something in the door and the glass cracked. $275 later I still need to pay for new tint. Do not bother with this dealer. I've driven Fords for 36 years but this may be the last one. read more

Went back to get 2018 raptor but sawgrass ford wanted $10,000 over sticker so I bought truck from Koepell ford in New York and only paid shipping. Brought truck for service and recall Work Ashely was service adviser , my key fob was not working they told me it's not covered because too many scratches on fob . I asked to speak to service manager Enrique Carbono he gets on the phone nasty rude guy tells me he can't do anything and he doesn't even want to work on my truck and I should come pick it up . Also told me I bought truck from New York and if I would have bought truck from sawgrass he would push harder to get key fob replaced key fob he was very rude couldn't care less about customers .I made a claim with ford customer service gave me case # 14649544 than Enrique Carbono service manager called me said he will work on recall and change oil but not replace key fob . I went back to pick up truck after work was done . Gave Enrique my claim # said he would work on it few weeks went by I emailed him he finally had service adviser Ashely call me tell me it not covered. I was referred to Sawgrass Ford back in 2000 when I moved to the area, by my lawn guy, who at the time was cutting the dealership grass. Since then I have leased 8 vehicles all with the same salesperson, Louis. He is always a pleasure to work with. I have used the same service writer, Rolando, for all my vehicles except the first one. Rolando is the best. It is always pleasure to take my car in for maintenance. Today I took my daughter's car in for her first oil change and tire rotation. I called Rolando to let him know I was coming. Rolando provides excellent customer service. He was there when I arrived and took our car in immediately. He asked if I wanted her car hand washed and vacuumed after servicing and that he did. In just a little over an hour, the service was completed and the car was pristine. While the car was being serviced I visited with the other associates that I have dealt with at the dealership and even watched a new car owner win money in the money booth. read more

Horrible Service Department. We leased a 2013 ford fusion in February 2013. We also purchased the vehicle maintenance plan. On our 3rd oil change they forgot to put the oil cap on and we broke down 400 miles into a 1,900 mile trip. They wanted us to just put oil back in and continue on our way. We made them come to where we were and take the vehicle back to them. They finally put us in a rental, 2 days later and we were able to resume our trip. Speed forward 1.5 years and we are due for our 6th and final oil change. After waiting 2 hours for the oil change I get greeted by the service representative and he hands me the paperwork, telling me that the car is on the way around. I think "ok, everything is good". I start reading through the paperwork and find out that the engine air filter is due to be changed and the tire tread is low. I present this information to the rep and he tells me. "Oh, I can have them change that out if you want." At that time the key was handed to him by the service tech. I was furious as this seems to be the theme at this place. I was a customer at Sawgrass ford Collision Center after I got into an accident. Absolute horrible service. Please, don't waste your time here. Nothing but issues since the beginning. After waiting for 3 MONTHS after originally being quoted 2 WEEKS, I finally get the call to come pick up my vehicle. When I showed up my car was still damaged. They attempted to fix my exhaust instead of replacing it. At this point, I refused to take my car until the exhaust was replaced. Carol from tamekia striggles office assured me that the body shop would be paying for my rental since this was their mistake. After I did make it home with my car not only had they killed my battery, left my sun roof open causing mold on my leather seats, and countless scratches from being so careless (which they refuse to admit)... I was charged for my rental AFTER the fact that CAROL assured me and even walked me into the enterprise building that my rental was being covered. I was charged with no notice and no reason. I feel completely robbed by this corporation. When I called to resolve this issue Carol denied ever telling me that my rental was covered and refused to speak to me when I came into the shop myself. What type of customer service is that? I've had to contact the president of the company to escalate this issue for a resolution which has taken time and money out of my pocket. read more
