Tigard Premier Auto Care - up in smoke after the car repairs - April 2024

    Tigard Premier Auto Care

I've been putting this updated review off for a while. I stopped going to Tigard Premier years ago…read morebecause of bad business practices. They used to have good mechanics but scared them all away it seems. One of the last times I had my car worked on, a mechanic came running out and was twitching. He was pale as a ghost and looked like he was on some serious meth. I believe in Equal Employment Opportunity but some people should be clean when working on vehicles because it can be dangerous. Case in point, I believe he is the one who worked on my vehicle. Fluids were all overfilled and I kept getting error codes lighting up my dashboard. Car never worked right after that. I kept bringing in my vehicle to have it looked at to no avail. Chris and Patrick would basically shrug their shoulders to my situation. I feel like they give better treatment to new cars than older ones. I'll give Chris a little credit because he tried to fix it himself and didn't charge me but in the end I had to give the car away because it was basically inoperable. Which sucks when you're out hundreds of dollars in "repairs" to them. I'm seeing lots of 5-star reviews from people with no profile picture and only 1 review which tells a lot right there. Take it from me an Honest Joe and spend your money on quality mechanics that believe in customer service and less on discrimination.

So I had to come back and pay ANOTHER $300. Not to mention that all of this happened after signing up for their monthly service, which they mistakenly charged me twice for. I only need my mechanic to A) effectively communicate what's going on and B) solve my car problems, both of which were fails at this location. Awful customer experience, I won't be returning

After my car was towed to the garage, they reached out and told me that my transfer case was no good. The garage quoted me a bill of about $5000 to fix my car just to start and be able to use it again. Then, an additional $3000 to get it through DEQ with a code. I felt this was a lot of money for a car that wasn't worth that kind of money with the transfer case being gone. I sold my car to a mechanic who works with my type of car for a VERY LOW price because I was told it would need to be fixed to be used. The person who bought my car reached out to let me know that the transfer case was perfectly fine and the car was in fact stuck in four-wheel-drive. He was able to get it out of four-wheel-drive and repair it with about $1500. He was able to get the car working perfectly and passed DEQ. I am extremely frustrated because I sold my car for practically nothing and had to buy a new car. I recently saw the new owner with my car, it's perfectly fine. I have been going to Green Drop exclusively for a long time a member. I was about to bring my new car there and decided, I will not be returning. Since this interaction, I have had multiple mechanics look over previous repairs that have been done that did not need to be done on my vehicle or the price was not what it should've been.

He also tried to have me fill out a form from the car dealership about some security device on my vehicle in order to change the transmission. It had asked for all my personal info. I asked him about it and said I don't trust giving out that Info. He got mad about it and didn't understand my reason why. He's an idiot and the biggest scam. I don't know if he took parts from my car and exchanged them for other default parts... who knows. But he came with so many excuses to why my car wasn't done. He stated he received my transmission and was already working on it. I called him one day about the form he wanted me to fill out regarding my security device in my vehicle. He got really mad and offensive. He told me he didn't want to fix my car again because I didn't trust him. 2 months my vehicle was with him, he asked for personal info regarding my security device on my vehicle, and he lied about my car being fixed at the moment. He said he's waiting on the part. OF COURSE I DONT TRUST HIM ANYMORE AFTER THOSE 3 factors. **DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE** **NAZIER IS A SCAM AND A LIAR** May the way his prices kept going up every time I spoke with him. Ranged close to about $5,000 I decided to take it to my dealership and I only paid $3200. Plus it wasn't my transmission that he said needed to be changed because it was bad........ **AVOID THIS AUTO SHOP IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF, LIED TO, OR SCAMMED ON** All the other Bad reviews on here are TRUE!!!
