This was absolutely delicious. Not too much bread, got to really enjoy the fresh lobster meat.

The lobster roll was amazing. The service was great. It seemed like a lovely locals place. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Ok- so first I have to say I LOVE Scargo Cafe. It is one of my favorite restaurants- not only on Cape, but in all of New England- and I travel and eat out a lot. The food is always outstanding, the presentation superb, and the service is exceptional. This visit was a belated Birthday lunch- oh and did I mention that they call you on your Birthday and sing to you? It's amazing! They also give you 20% off your entire meal if you choose to dine in. That is fantastic. So we got their scrumptious French Onion Soup- there isn't one better. ANYWHERE. SO.MUCH. CHEESY.GOODNESS. So much flavor in the soup itself. We ordered the Arugula Salad-with Romaine lettuce instead, and chicken on the side, Pasta, with marinara- (a special request) and the incredible Shrimp Scampi Flatbread. Honestly, they really should sell that Shrimp Scampi on its own as well- it is so good!! Everything was outstanding. The food, the service, and the setting can never be beat. It is so lovely in there. It really makes me miss living on the Cape!!

I enjoyed my birthday dinner here at Scargo Cafe. The restaurant has great ambiance and is located on beautiful RTE 6A on Cape Cod. For starters, we shared the artichoke and spinach dip which was amazing. One of the best we ever had. The menu had great selections for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I enjoyed the Mongolian Pork chop which I paired with an Australian Shiraz. The pork was cooked to perfection and the sides, braised red cabbage and mashed potatoes, were great. My spouse enjoyed the Tofu Power Bowl. She went with one of their signature cocktails, the Poinsettia. Service was attentive and timely. Though being on Thursday night in the middle of winter, the restaurant was pretty full. Highly recommend reservations any time of year and I can only imagine how busy this place is in the summer.

Cozy atmosphere with reasonable prices. We were seated in a private little alcove room which was nice but then we were a little concerned that they forgot about us as no one came to get our drink orders. Eventually our server arrived and apologized and explained why she took so long. From then on our experience was great. Our server (Anke) was very personable and fun. The food was delicious. Friends in our party had the lamb, salmon and grilled sirloin. Everyone thought the food was delicious. The complimentary warm bread was perfect too! Would definitely return.

Back for another dinner. We started with cocktails - the Espresso Martini and the Cosmo. Both were perfectly prepared and well poured. As an appetizer we chose the Mediterranean Charcuterie. An excellent choice as a starter. For the dinner, the Honey ordered the Mongolian Pork Chop, her favorite, I, the Roasted Cod. These too, were perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. I would have liked something on the cod plate to absorb the delicious sauce of the Ratatouille but otherwise it was outstanding. We finished with coffee and the flourless chocolate torte. A decadent treat! The one complaint was that our food came out too quickly. We were not quite finished with our appetizer when the dinner plates arrived. That was unexpected, based on our previous experience here. Otherwise all was great. The ambiance, the service and the quality of the meal. We'll definitely be back (maybe next time we'll wait to order the main course after the appetizer is served).

One of our favorite places in the cape. They are always so friendly and the dining rooms evoke the cape. The food is always consistently good!

The French onion soup was outstanding! As was the fresh bread!

Excellent experience. Everyone (staff and other local patrons) we so friendly to these two out of towners. The French onion soup was served in a crock, smothered in cheese! It was the best I've ever had! The ambiance was warm and comfortable. A wonderful experience for sure. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a delicious dinner at Scargo and we had the kindest and most attentive server, Destiny. She was so sweet and happy to answer our questions. She's bubbly and very friendly so we recommend you ask for her. Also the food was spectacular! So yummy! Best lobster linguine ever! My partner loved the sirloin steak and we both shared oysters that were superb. The manager, Kelsie, is very welcoming and warm as well!

Wine was still available in 3oz. and 5oz. pours, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. We received fantastic service at the counter, and we were checked on several times while we were seated (we were lucky enough to get the plush chairs by the window). For an appetizer, we shared the sweet potato tempura stuffed with scallop and crab. It was light, flavorful, and beautifully prepared--an excellent start to the meal. For our entrées, the swordfish was wonderfully fresh and packed with flavor. While the accompanying potatoes were a bit dry and under-seasoned, the fish itself was outstanding. The seared tuna was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful crust and tender center, and the noodles complemented it perfectly. Fin has the charm of a historic home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar is cozy and welcoming, though on the smaller side, so arriving early is a good idea. We were seated upstairs at a corner table, which provided plenty of privacy and made for a wonderfully romantic dining experience in a quaint and intimate setting. Our waitress seemed a little reserved at first but quickly warmed up and became attentive and engaging throughout the evening. Dinner for two, including tip, came in just under $200, putting it on the higher end of the price range, but the quality of the food, cocktails, and atmosphere made it well worth it. We will be back to try the oyster stew.

The service was a little slow and I did have to wait multiple times for my water to be filled after I finished it, but not a huge deal. I feel like the food was just average. I tried my friend's tuna dish, which was otoro when we went, and it was just not flavorful for me. She enjoyed the noodles though. I thought the salmon was well-seasoned, but it was unfortunately overcooked which made it really dry. The seaweed salad that came with it was pretty standard. The whole dish just needed more sauce because there was a large amount of rice that tasted really dry. We did enjoy the house focaccia with the garlic herby olive oil. The octopus was also okay-- a tad overcooked and expensive for only having one piece. Also, I wasn't the biggest fan of the two sauces that accompanied it.

The interior is pretty basic, small tables and small chairs, so a person of substance such as myself didn't find the seating comfortable. I tried: - French onion soup: this should have been an easy win. I found the Gruyere cheese to be overly thick, and the broth to be heavy handed on the wine. - Steak tartare: this was a good dish. The beef was thin cut, smooth, and the egg was cooked just right so the yolk added richness that then got offset by the capers. Due to the richness, you may actually find that this could be all you need for a meal, despite it looking small. - Croque Madame: le sigh, what a failure this sandwich was. Over easy egg? Not today, over medium, so not much runny yolk but a thicker one. This is a gigantic salt bomb, in addition. They serve your water in tiny glasses and every bite led to downing an entire glass of water. It's good they were on top of refilling the glasses, but even then I finished a quarter of this before I couldn't take it any more. I did saunter over to the counter where they have a lot of good looking pastries, so we'll see if the ones I bought end up redeeming this place. As it stands, I can't recommend this establishment unless you'd like to try the tartare.
