I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought 2 1/2 years ago from a major (non CDJR) dealer when it…read morehad a about 45,000 miles on it. At the time I made the decision to buy an extended warranty, which proved to be a good decision. This vehicle came with factory trailer and off-road packages. I have not put excessive mileage on it, I have used it for some limited trailer pulling, and have never gone off-road. My experience with Jeeps and multiple CDJR dealer service departments (including Rhythm) over the past 2 1/2 years is as follows: - CDJR service departments will eventually get the job done right, but it will not be quick or cheap. - While the CDJR service reps are professional and honest, there seems to be little sense of urgency from dealer service departments, including timely updates. - There is always something unexpected that will come-up to delay completion of a service, often causing extra trips back. - Even though they are CDJR dealers, they carry limited parts and it takes days to get what is needed. So if you considering buying a Jeep: - Jeeps can be reliable but they are high maintenance requiring both vigilence and diligence. - Maintenance will not be cheap, especially if you utilize service from a CDJR dealership. - Service from CDJR dealerships is not quick or convenient. - Extended warranties for Jeeps can be costly but are probably not a bad idea. - Initial factory warranties are generally industry minimums. I suggest you shop and compare. If these do not fit your needs, you should probably consider buying something else.

Don't buy a car here, if you do, DO NOT buy the extended warranty they will offer you, they won't…read moredisclose that they sell NON refundable warranties, the warranty company is GWC, and they have a lot of complaints as well. (Red flag, if they hand you an aritration form to sign). We bought a vehicle here and we traded it in to another dealership 4 months later after not wanting to put money into a paint job is suddenly needed. When I called to see what they needed from me as proof of sale to get a refund on the remaining balance of the warranty, I was told it was only refundable if the car was totaled by the insurance company or if it was repossessed. This is the first time I've ever heard of a non refundable warranty. We've called them on this sneaky tactic and they will not return calls, I've told them I'd be happy even if they kick back half of it, but crickets, I told them I will file complaints with BBB, St atty general and consumer protection office which I have.

I purchased a Volvo XC60 from CarSmart.Net after being assured the vehicle had "no issues." That…read moreturned out to be completely untrue. Shortly after delivery, I discovered the steering wheel controls didn't work, multiple dashboard warnings appeared, the AC and heated seat didn't work, the car still shook while driving, and the "repaired" windshield crack was still visible. I paid for an independent inspection, which confirmed repairs were needed. I was told a faulty module could cause many of the electrical issues and advised to wait until it was replaced before reporting additional problems. It fixed nothing. Later, salesman Shawn Bowers blamed me for not reporting issues sooner, despite me following the guidance I was given. Since purchasing the vehicle, I've spent an additional $3,768.41 out of pocket, even after partial reimbursement from the dealership. Most recently, I had to replace the battery because the car is now stalling and revving at idle. Communication has been terrible. Shawn was extremely difficult to reach and constantly had excuses. He promised to call me back about helping with repairs and never did. This experience has caused my family major stress and financial burden. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone against buying from CarSmart.Net.
