Hummmm I adore the smashed olive smudged across the perfectly round symmetrical sandwich, the familiar smell of toasted breads and dark sandwich meats... Yes Tasty Yes consistent ! Really disappointed in our experience. My fiancé ordered first and then me. And then the guy helping us looked at my fiancé and said "okay what do you want?" .....uhhhh??? So he repeated his order. And also clarified he wanted pastrami on rye bread...both times he ordered. We got our food and of course, no rye bread. DO NOT GO HERE. I would give this place a zero. They gave us 5 stale Cinnabons in the back even though there were fresh ones under the lamp infront. We tried to heat it up in the microwave but the cinnabon was so hard that it tasted like croutons. So upset with the salad I was given at this location. I drove 30mins to this location since the location closest to me (FM1960) never have the good cookies like other locations. I ordered Turkey Bacon Club w/ avocado $7.79 which was good no issues there. I also ordered the Turkey Avocado Cobb Salad added ham for later which was $10.79. I just opened my salad and was immediately confused about the boiled eggs, hell for a minute I thought it was crab meat. The eggs didn't look or taste right. I ended up having to pick out all the egg, tomatoes, and the avocado I paid extra for. As I was making my plate, I'm picking out brown/black wilted leaves thinking how messed up this is. This salad also comes with goat cheese right and here is where I drew the line of disgust the cheese had black/brown stuff on it like it was burnt. Now I'm no cheese expert, but I've never seen it like that before. Dude even gave me the wrong receipt lol. I love Schlotzsky's food. You can always count on being consistent, but this location isn't one to eat inside. The soda area had spills all over it, napkins on the floor, and no tables clean. It was after lunch rush at 1:30 on a Thursday and no one else was eating in the dining area. The person behind the counter walked out and sat in the dining area twice to sit and chat with another employee. Never wiped anything tables or soda area and walked right over napkins on the floor. Broom and mop were sitting up against the wall in the dining room. Not being used. I can imagine how the kitchen looks. Won't be back to this location. read more

Food is always good. The employees could be a little nicer to the guests. The cashier is the first person to interact with guests and should act like they want be there (they are getting paid after all). Management needs to do a better job at training employees for customer interaction. Sandwich shops are hit and miss big time. Subway is not good, I only go there when I have eaten everywhere else and don't want anything else. Schlotzsky's however is great! Not disappointing at all. I really like the jalapeno bread they have it is awesome, I wish is spicier, my fiance thinks no. I usually get the roast beef, and its hard to find good roast beef at these kinds of places. The turkey breast is really good as well. I do not put a lot veggies on my sandwiches, just pickles, but I guess it looks good. -_- They have their own brand of chips, and it is awesome. This is the worst schlotzky's I have been to. The food was very bland and had no flavor to it. The food did come out fast but they have a refrigerator that is uncomfortably loud to stand next to while ordering and can be heard loudly throughout the entire dining area. We went the other day, expecting to save $7 on our order after accumulating "bites" on the app, only to find out that the owner no longer accepts the app discounts. This is her right as the owner, but she has lost a customer over the decision. A few days later, we visited a brand new store in the Cypress area where they they happily take the app deals. Imagine our surprise when the bun was toasted better, the sandwich had more flavor, and the turkey wasn't just plopped in the center (an old deli trick of making it look like more when it's cut down the middle).
