Mango madness

If you're looking for a quick refreshing smoothie or refreshment in DCA this is the place to hit up. Lines move quickly. They have some food items as well. And other food options close by.

Iced Honey Matcha Tea
Kiana L.

Schmoozies! is a place I've always seen all over TikTok, especially for their Iced Honey Matcha Tea, so I was really excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The matcha was way too sweet, and I didn't really get much of a honey flavor besides the cereal topping. I was expecting something more balanced, but it leaned heavily on sweetness rather than letting the matcha stand out. The one thing I did like was the cream top, which was actually really good and probably the best part of the drink. It was smooth and added a nice texture, but it wasn't enough to save the overall drink for me. As I kept drinking it, it started to feel a bit overwhelming, and I honestly felt a little nauseous from how sweet it was, so I couldn't even finish it. Overall, I can see why it looks appealing and gets attention online, but for me, it just didn't hit.

Love the seasonal waffles here! They're tasty and fun. They're a little pricey as you only get two, but always a fun treat. Now for my favorite Schmoozies offering of all the time, THE ICED HONEY MATCHA! As an Asian, I highly approve of this Matcha! The matcha flavor is super present and it goes together great with honey. It's obviously not the highest quality, authentic matcha, but still so good. Honestly the best matcha drink they've had in the park. They did a good job!

Mangonada Smoothie

Kevin and I stopped by Schmoozies at Disney California Adventure and tried one of their specialty drinks, and it was such a fun and refreshing treat especially on a hot day! We ordered the Manganado, and it was absolutely delicious. It's a mango chamoy smoothie topped with chunks of fresh mango and a chili mango lollipop, and it had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and a little bit of spice. Every sip was full of flavor, and the added texture from the mango pieces made it even better. It's one of those drinks that really stands out, refreshing, bold, and perfect for walking around the park, especially on a warm day. Overall, this was such a great stop for something unique and flavorful, and it's definitely something we would order again. We mobile ordered so it was ready by the time we walked over and there was no wait for us which I really appreciated. Another simple stop that turns into a fun little treat for us.

Schmoozies is a smoothie and beverage stand located in the Hollywood Land area of Disney California Adventure Park. You can order on your phone using the Disneyland app to skip the line. We got the strawberry, hazelnut, chocolate & pistachio mickey shake ($14.29) and the mangonada smoothie ($9.29). The mickey shake was too thick to drink, even for a milkshake. It was also too sweet and I wasn't a big fan. The mangonada was sour but decent and I liked this drink more. It's a casual shop that also sells snacks, coffee, and even alcoholic beverages.

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience. Food: A Schmoozie experience is a super milkshake experience. Today I got the Hotteok inspired Mickey Waffles (4 out of 5), the Honey Matcha Tea (3 out of 5) and the Make Mine Mocha (5 out of 5). Good food day! Service: Disney cast members are always awesome! Ambiance: Schmoozies sits on the Hollywood Studios section of Disney California Adventure and feels like it is a part of movie magic and old industry Hollywood. Very easy quick access ordering and pick up.

Soju-Matcha Cocktail

I am a victim of great marketing because as soon as I saw these seasonal menu items at Schmoozies for the Disney California Adventure 2026 Lunar New Year Festival, I simply had to have them. Those red Mickey Mouse hotteok were simply stunning online. I mean look at them, they look great. How could you not want them? And Soju Matcha Cocktail? Ah! Please. I'm sold. We ordered online through the Disneyland app, which had about a 45 minute wait time. You are free to stand in line at the physical location to order as well, which may be faster, but you'll also have to actively stand in line. I think ordering online is the way to go because you can do other things while you wait. After about 45 minutes, we received a text to pick up our order. The pickup experience was a little rough for us. The pickup window was blocked by a dense hoard of people standing around waiting for their order, so it was unclear if we had additional waiting to do or if we could simply push past everyone. Turns out, it was the latter. I think that Schmoozies could practice better line management in order to ensure people are able to pick up their order in a timely manner. The matcha cocktail was so yummy! I didn't get to have my regular matcha latte that morning, so this was just the caffeinated pick-me-up I needed. The matcha was better than I expected. Nothing fancy, but delicious. The alcohol was undetectable. Oooh! Dangerous! Be careful, hehe. Although I could not taste the alcohol, I was definitely feeling the buzz as I sipped.  The hotteok were so cute! The cake part was pretty good, but the filling was a little too sweet.Overall, although getting our order was a little difficult, we came out with a great snack. The soju matcha cocktail and the hotteok were some of the better Lunar New Year items we tried during our time at the Disney California Adventure 2026 Lunar New Year Festival.

Omg!!! I always see posts of people and their delicious shakes!!! I finally got one! This is a strawberry, hazelnut chocolate and pistachio Mickey Mouse shake!!! So delish!!!! Every sip is a splash of every flavor!!! Just perfect for today!!! Enjoying it in the shade on a hot Disney day.

Schmoozies is always a fun stop when visiting Disney California Adventure! The ambiance and vibe are great--especially if you're a Disney lover. This time we tried the matcha honey drink with the honeycomb cereal topping and the chocolate hazelnut Mickey waffles with banana whipped cream. I'm normally not a huge fan of matcha, but this one was actually really good and I enjoyed it a lot. The waffle itself was delicious, but the chocolate hazelnut filling was a little much for me. I wish the filling had just been in the ears instead of the whole head because it felt a bit overpowering and a little sticky to eat. That said, my preteen absolutely LOVED it, so it might just be a personal preference. Service is always great. Overall, it's still a great place to stop for a treat when visiting the park!

Mickey-shaped Banana-Hazelnut Waffles

Good experience at Shmoozies! We mobile ordered, so it was ready super quick. It is a walk-up situation, so no going inside to sit. There are benches and other seating nearby. One thing to note is they do not accept Magic Key discounts here. We had the seasonal banana hazelnut Mickey shaped waffles and the soju honey matcha cocktail. I was so surprised by the soju matcha, it was very very good. In the past I have tried other seasonal waffle flavors and they always hit the spot.

Mariness D.

This is a quick grab and go place, so there aren't any seats and tables to sit at. Came here a couple of times for the Mickey Mouse waffles. This last time, had the hazelnut and it was delicious. This place is pretty popular, so there's usually a line. I recommend ordering on the mobile app, like most of the places at Disney, then walking over to pick it up.

1. The waffles were soft! The shake was also well-crafted! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The exterior is pretty! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready within 10 mins! 4. This spot does not have their own seating area! 5. This spot does not have their own restroom area! Note: Mobile order is available! Delicious ube filled dark chocolate waffles. It's so yummy. The waffle isn't to sweet so it pairs perfectly with ube custard. It doesn't even need the syrup. Make sure you mobile order since it takes awhile to get your food.

I paired it with their warmed chocolate croissant, which was flaky, buttery, and the perfect complement to my drink. The café itself is cute, welcoming, and conveniently located along a main street on the ground floor of an apartment complex, with street parking available nearby. It stayed consistently busy during my Thursday morning visit, so it can get pretty lively and a bit noisy. If you're planning to study or work, there are plenty of outlets, which is a huge plus. Just keep in mind that most of the tables are fairly low and small, so I found the bar seating to be the most comfortable option for getting work done. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure to acknowledge everyone entering the cafe, even during the rush, and were happy to answer any questions about their drinks. Overall, I think this cafe is definitely worth checking out. Whether you're meeting up with friends or just looking for a cozy place to spend an hour or two, it's a great spot for a casual hangout.

This would be a great place to come have a board game night with friends, or to come relax or take cool photos, it's nice to have an atmospheric cafe after the bourgeois Pig closed down in Hollywood years ago. I asked the barista what the best drink was, she recommended the "Tea Salt Ice cream" Boba. It was very good, tasted like drinking ice cream in Boba form. I would recommend it. I wouldn't say it's the best Boba around, but it's solid Boba in a great atmosphere, and I would want to come back and try more of their drinks. Highly recommended for great atmosphere, pictures, relaxation, and game nights.

The girls behind us were given a sign to say they were the end of the line and even then a completely different employee had to announce to us all that they had just let the last group in and if we were still in line none of us were going inside. We aren't even sure that this person was a Requiem employee and not just someone like a volunteer helping out with the event as when we tried to ask questions they kept telling us they didn't know as they didn't work inside. This isn't even the first time this has happened at a Requiem special event. As seen in other one star reviews and even my own personal experiences they have somehow never learned from their mistakes and refuse to do anything to make these special events easier for attendees. It would be one thing if they were still a small independant cafe who had never done something like this before but they regularly work with big name fandoms and do official collabs with things like Undertale and Digital Circus. There is no excuse at this point for them to be so incompetent when it comes to line management and getting people in and out who get stuck waiting outside for hours. Also I'm pretty sure this is the owner sitting at the register and playing games while the other employee had to be the one to break the bad news to us.

I asked which matcha was good or popular and she just said "all of them." I'm not picky but it's an honest question for being a first timer. I ended up getting two different drinks but didn't really want to stay there any longer than I had to because of the unwelcoming feeling. Don't know if it was the uniform or not. The drinks were good but the matcha was all milk, hardly and matcha flavor. I wanted hot but came cool. I didn't want to request it to be heated up just incase they wanted to do something to my drink. Don't know if I would go here again. I've been to another location and did not have this experience. So try it out yourself. The other location I went to was different, maybe cause I went through the drive-thru and my uniform wasn't seen until later.

Also, another reason why this place is great is that it's not full at all. Might be because of the parking situation, but the place is near empty which makes it have a nice luxury vibe.
