Tom came out to talk water and boy, does Tom know water! As we started to talk about the house, where our water comes from and what we were primarily interested in Tom was doing tests of our water. He was very efficient in the testing and explaining the results. Our new home in Castle Pines was built with an instant hot water unit, which was all new for us. And from some other companies we talked to at the garden and home show told us that you definitely need to put a soft water unit in for the tankless (primarily for the warranty). As it turns out, Tom gave us a measurement of 3 for hardness which is very good and he told us we do NOT need to install a soft water unit. BONUS! We also talked about other minerals and pH in our water. And it was nice to hear we have really good water here. He did leave a flyer and a quote for a RO (reverse osmosis) drinking water system if we ever decide we would like to go that route other than just getting drinking water from the refrigerator. I would highly recommend anyone who is curious about their water quality to contact them and talk through what you might need or what you want.

I like to learn and understand how all the appliances in my house work and Tom couldn't have been happier to spend the time educating me, both before we agreed to hire him and then while he was personally installing the system. We discussed our needs and family size, and it was refreshing when he recommended the lower cost solution for us instead of trying to upsell us something we didn't need. He'll be very honest about what will make you the happiest with your water. The system works great and made a noticeable difference with the hardness of our water. I asked him a few follow-up questions, which he responded to immediately. We ultimately decided on a three tank system -- the first to filter out sediment, the second to remove carbon (i.e. lead, gasses), and the third to remove pathogens. He pre-fabricated everything at his shop, so the installation time was very quick and efficient. You get a text from him letting you know that he is on the way. After he completed the installation, he walked me through everything and actually had me install the filters myself so that I knew how it all worked. Bottom line is he installs a better system than the big national players at a much more affordable price. I would recommend him without any reservations.

I understand he needs to make the trip worth his while but I feel he is taking advantage of his customers for what he charges vs his cost. This is the 3rd system in 3 different homes in 25 years and it is the easiest to maintain and is providing excellent quality water. The old water tank was removed and all debris was cleaned up. I had a small plumbing leak prior to the installation. Although Waterworks was not responsible for it, the installer spent time and mileage obtaining parts to fix the problem. Waterworks is great!
