We had to drive backwards out of the lot to get out because multiple cars took it upon themselves to park around the curbs and our vehicle is too big too get through the tiny lot with them there. The playground was a bit outdated, but still being enjoyed by many there are bathrooms and covered picnic tables which is great if planning a family day. The bathroom's definitely needed attention and didn't even have toilet paper. The dog park area was clean and also had extra bags to pick up your dogs business if you didn't bring any. Nice walking area around the park as well.

My first encounter was with a nasty woman who was screaming obscenities at her semi-ferocious dog. She leashed up her dog as it was lunging and snarling viciously at my sweet friendly pup. Thanks fully, she dragged her dog out of the park (or maybe the dog dragged her out?). Either way, was relieved to see them both leave. Lots of trails, and a primitive venue. Slow down as you approach as it can be tough to find from…read moreother directions than Deer Valley. Elevation can give spectacular sunsets. Bring your supplies; cart them out, as it's a wonderfully clean place. Lots of parking. Not a lot of restroom or other facilities, but acres and acres of hiking from easy to moderate. It's a large area funded by a low budget, but it's a great resource and most will have fun.

Not much for shade parking was easy and free, trails are what you'd expect trails but they were clear of trash and unkept they do look like they are doing phases for upgrades to this particular area.
