This donut shop has been here for a really long time so they must be pretty good. I finally tried Scott's Donuts today (after many years of driving past). Inside is clean and bright. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy a donut and coffee. Tried 3 different things to get a good idea of how much I like them. Cronut was okay and pretty much like any other cronut. Maple bar was good but more sweet than maple. Still a good donut. The apple fritter was fantastic.. clearly the winner. They come in small or large and are full of apple bits. I'm still in shock over the horrific customer service I received. This donut shop just opened when I arrived, very early in the morning. I was the only person in the donut shop. Spencer, clerk behind the counter was the only employee working the register. Spencer, looked like he was in his 20's, was acting erratic. He was easily agitated & irritable when I asked any questions about the donuts I was purchasing. It could not have been more obvious between his mood swings, easily agitated and irritability, similar to someone coming down from cocaine or other stimulant. He acted like he didn't have time to help me and tried to hurry me up. When I told him this was no way to get a good review, his response was; "I don't give a shit what you write old lady!"
