Nice clean atmosphere. Was promptly greeted when I entered. Sat alone at the bar at approximately 1:30pm Ordered the regular beef burger adding Havarti cheese and BBQ sauce. The burger was cooked med (hot with no pink). Surprisingly I liked it even though I am a med rare kinda gal. I had ordered it just as they normally make it to judge it that way. Loved the sweet potato waffle fries. Cooked perfectly crispy with no excess grease or grease flavor. Just the awesome sweet goodness they should taste like. Got a slice of cheesecake for dessert which was a large slice and super yummy although having a option of a fruit topping would have made it perfect. Also ordered an Irish coffee to have with my desert only to find out they do not serve coffee. The Bacardi rum and coke was barely ok. It tasted so watered down it wasn't worth the money at all. With a Tues '67 Combo discount ($4.55) my total was $33.31. I still find this a bit on the pricy side but typically would not have the alcoholic drink or cheesecake which would have made it a better deal. So for a good burger and fries at a reasonable price, hit them up between 1-4pm for a lunch deal. I still way prefer Rodeo Goat for all around food, drinks and value though.

What a surprise! Walked into my local Scotty P's and to my surprise it has been renovated. The update is fantastic and very inviting. It is the first to be transformed and I predict future customers will love the new decor. Had the $9 burger special today with substitute Cardiac Fries . The meat was delicious and much more flavorful that other burger places. Kudos to the Pontikes group for continuing excellence.

Popped into this place for lunch today. It was very clean and the atmosphere was light & airy. Walking in, the 1st employee, who was the hostess/cashier was not at all helpful and not at all welcoming. I almost walked out but was hungry. I ordered a beautiful salad! When it arrived, it looked as good as the photo on the menu. It came out quickly and the salad was very generous. Everything was very fresh. It was really good. I would've given them a 5 had it not been for the VERY uninterested hostess. She acts exactly as you would if you couldn't care less about the customers, cuz it's "just" a job. In short...she sucked.

We approve of the new layout. Added a bar area. Hamburger was good - had the Lunch special, with onion strings for the side. Plates, napkins etc all have moved up scale. Food is now delivered to the table. Enjoy!

When I say im never going to eat a salad a a burger place I usually mean it. In this case I made an exception and the timing was great. they just happen to have fantastic salads! This is a new one with crispy chicken, tortillas strips, avocado chunks. It's fantastic and that's coming from an infrequent salad eater. Definitely get the salad! If you can stand passing up the burger!

We stopped in for lunch on a recommendation from a mechanic we had our truck at nearby. He was spot on! The burgers are excellent. Their onion rings are off the chain! We had the fried pickle burger and we also had the hatch chili burger. Both were amazing.

Burgers cost anywhere from $6-10. I tried the nacho burger and the MD bbq burger. Both are good. Can't go wrong at this place.

The burgers are excellent, and the prices were lower than I expected, for the size of the burgers and sides. A very good experience.

Why isn't there a trash can in your restaurant ? I needed to throw a napkin away and I couldn't find one anywhere!

There are small trash containers by the fountain drink station.

The parking lot was like what I remembered but inside was a different layout so I am not sure if it was the same spot. Anyway, prices were very reasonable! When the food came out, we could immediately see it passed the eye test--cheese drizzling, real meat, grilled bun. First bite was excellent--I could taste the grilled bun, the flavor of the burger and even the crisped grilled parts of the meat. All other bites, just the same. Had me audibly saying "yum". On top of that, they offered horchata to drink and it was delicious. The fries weren't only well seasoned but they also had an usual kick of heat. This will be my go-to burger spot when I'm in the Garland area. Thanks for being great and charging fairly!

There are more reasonable big burgers, but my hunger was unreasonable and I needed a burger that was too big to eat, a knife and fork burger. The flavor was absolutely spot on! I'm guessing each patty was a 1/2 pounder. perfectly caramelized, moist, beefy. Price was VERY reasonable. Yes, no burger was left behind. I did go home and take a long nap afterwards :)

This unassuming restaurant tucked in a corner of nondescript row of stores has stood the test of time. My first review of the place was in 2013. Here it is 13 years later then it is still going strong. I went for lunch with the family on a snow day. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. No numbers, they just remember who you are. I always get combo number 1 and add sweet potato fries. The prices are great and not much more than McDonalds but the difference in value is significant. The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

I ordered the turkey burger along with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, I was brought regular fries instead, and neither the fries nor the burger really matched my personal taste preferences. That said, food is subjective, and what didn't work for me may be exactly what someone else enjoys. The service was okay overall, and one thing I did appreciate was seeing people genuinely interacting and talking with each other. In a world where everyone is often glued to their phones, it was nice to see a place that seemed to encourage conversation and connection. While my meal wasn't a favorite, I can understand why this place attracts a crowd. I'd still recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself, especially if you're looking for a casual burger spot with a busy, social atmosphere.

Asked for water, as I don't drink soft drinks or tea and the young man told me "we don't give cups for water, what do you want to drink". I said nothing to drink then and got my bottled water from the car. People should be able to have water with their meal, even if you have to charge for the cup or sell bottled water. Just my opinion. Sandwich was tasty but I didn't taste/see much cheese, supposedly Swiss? O rings were good and crispy, fair portion. Side of cheese sauce was TINY, fyi. Service at the counter was friendly other than the refusing a cup for water. Manager/owner came thru dining room to check on customers, good move. I didn't like the credit card surcharge (without being told or signage advising) as I had cash. 15% tip for counter service with the CC surcharge made my sandwich and o rings $18 and I had to provide my own water. Pricey lunch. Dining room could use a good sweeping, washing and painting. Both restrooms had signs on the door that they were out of order, but employees used them? Food and service 4 stars, minus a star for unannounced surcharge and no water. I would go again but not dine in, so I can get water and use the restroom.
