Bacon egg & cheese on the most perfect brioche bun
    Debbie L.

Tiny little spot with lines out the door. I don't know how they do it but whatever they're doing, they're doing it right, every single time. Perfect brioche buns, fluffy eggs and the crunchiest bacon. Highly suggest take out bc it's so hard to grab a seat but if I can, I'll sit down and eat just to experience it freshly made. It's worth the hype! So worth the hype.

Scram was a cozy place that I found exploring while visiting new york. I came near the tail end of their opening hours so lines weren't too bad. The store is bigger than your average coffee store and about the same size as your average bakery. They have an assortment of fresh buns made to order of which I had to get. There's also a small coffee menu and a larger tea menu. Cold brew- Pretty standard cold brew. Solid and gets the job done, but wasn't the smoothest Ham milk bun- The bun part was very good, and the jam was also delicious. The egg was my favorite, being runny and soft and warm and fresh. My only gripe was that the ham was a bit cold and on the drier side. Overall really solid! As I left the baristas managed to remember my name which I really appreciated :)

Nice local bakery! Got there before closing. I got the strawberry white chocolate chip scone and the egg tart. I think they ran out of cinnamon buns at that point. Both pastries were good. The scone was moist and not dry!

Was not expecting anything grand yet it exceeds the thing that I was looking for somehow. Simple tasty sandwiches, fluffy egg, fast service on a Sunday Brunch. Little but cozy and beautiful shop worth a visit. I think I found another bfast bruch cafe to include in my rotations.

    Egg tart

First off the sandwich was tasty. I got the sausage bun and it was nice. We also tried the egg tart, it was ok. The coffee was fine. The cons: -Prices are high -Seating is a challenge...some of the tables don't even have chairs. -The wait is excessive. There's usually a long line, and then the wait to get food after placing the order is long (especially since it's such a limited menu).

The line was out the door when we arrived but we wanted to try it, so we waited. There is stroller parking outside, and none are allowed inside. Once we made it in, we could see why. The space is right, with about 10 or so tables up against either wall, but most on the left. It was very lively, but floors had a bunch of spilled drinks and food. When we got to the front to order, most of their baked goods were sold out except for three items. Ended up buying the last two chocolate chip cookies, three breakfast sandwiches, and a tea. There is a water station as well, if you'd prefer that. The sandwiches took about 15mins to come out, which wasn't bad considering the place was packed on the Saturday morning. The sausage breakfast sandwich was my favorite, super fluffy eggs. The right balance of spicy and savory. I do wish there was more sauce, and felt the same about the fontina but nonetheless still a solid spot.

Best breakfast sandwich place in jersey! When you walk in the place smells soooo good! Like butter... Can get really busy --------- All the sandwiches are good! Fluffy egg but ham has egg with yolk that spills out. I think the other sandwiches are all's scrambled eggs and it's so soft and fluffy Ham: the best! So good cus the pineapple jam and thinly sliced ham. I like this the best cus I think it's harder to find a sandwich like this Bacon: can't go wrong. Second fav! Sausage: solid. I don't think the jalapeños make it spicy. I needed hot sauce and maybe even some ketchup Fontina: good. Liked the shallots and all. Pimento: tasted like it was on a biscuit. It's good ------- Granola and yogurt panna cotta was soooo good! But I didn't know how pricy it was. My bf got it and I really enjoyed it but idk if I'd pay that much for it again Honey cake also really good Cookies were all good but my fav was the citrus cus it had like a yuzu taste and so subtle.. my sis liked the vanilla malt. Scone - tried the cranberry pistachio or something and we both thought it was okay and wouldn't get it again Lemon cheesecake bread or something- would not get against so underwhelming and did not like the black pepper. Kiwi pie crust or something- like a kiwi pop tart... good but wouldn't get again. Would like more of the kiwi inside ------ Iced chai latte with oatmilk- omg sooooo good! Def getting it again when I go back ------- Service is good :) everyone is so kind and patient even in all the busyness ----- Parking: street

the place is small but the vibes are still great. Their passionfruit donut was so incredibly good. I probs wont get the egg sandwich again. Their cinnamon roll was good too. More like a cinnamon muffin though. The service was efficient at taking orders. Took a while to get my food though.

I was sooo excited to finally get to scram and wow it did not disappoint. Definitely one of the best cookies i've ever had which I was not expecting! The flavor was incredible, but for some reason the pimento puff breakfast did not sit well with me for the rest of the day.

I've tried both the ham and the sausage sandwiches. the sandwiches are great, but I had to knock a star down because of the price. A $13 (in 2023) sandwich this small makes it hard for me to come back. However the coffee is also good and the seating is a great addition.

cute cozy cafe w/ ample seating and delicious breakfast sandwiches pinmento - the egg scramble was nice and fluffy! puff had a crumbly texture while maintaining structural integrity; pimento wasnt too overwhelmingly strong and had a nice cheesy flavor, theres also a sweet chili-like jam! delicious

Cute vibes, friendly workers, best breakfast sammy ever - the milk bun is the key differentiator!

This was my first time seeing one with roasted duck though. Just a heads up that the street felt a bit sketchy even though it's near the edge of Chinatown. We were unfortunately harassed by someone outside of the store and ended up giving him a few dollar bills... *Chinese Sausage Mala Wrap $10 ** The lap cheong was spread so evenly throughout that I got some in almost every bite. The mala aioli was quite spicy, but not overpowering or lingering. The crispy shallots added such a nice crunch too which I loved! *Duck Tsangwich $16 I was quite surprised that the roast duck skin stayed crispy! The crackly cookie topping could've been thicker since it was pretty flat. They give you chili oil on the side, but it was already super flavorful with the hoisin sauce. Only thing I wished for was more cucumber and scallion to help balance out the richness.

If you're a foodie and enjoy the view of fresh meats, cheeses, salads, breads, and sandwiches being made fresh..... then the ambiance was bliss. The fact it was in a common neighborhood made it even more enjoyable of a visit! Now to the sandwich..This sandwich itself DEFINITELY lives up to the hype! It really is the REAL DEAL!! Maybe they should change the name to "Da Bomb", because it's that's good! However, through no fault of anyone, this is the learning experience I take back for my next visit: 1) Extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers. Potato Salad IF extra hot peppers! 2) Bring reusable containers for your sandwich, especially if you're not going home/ hotel right away. Next visit, which will be my next visit to NYC, I intend to try the roast beef and turkey hero, extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers. Overall, I still rate 5/5. They do a fantastic job here. I love the balsamic dressing, arugula, tomatoes, and bufula mozz cheese the most out of the whole sandwich! The dressing made it really good and soften the ciabatta bread for easier chewing. My poor mouth and teeth! The whole panini cost $22.21 including tax in cash. There was an atm machine by the entrance in case you don't have cash. The whole place was very cozy and tight knit chairs and tables on both sides of the restaurant. The staff was very fast and I got my panini in not time. I did not have to wait that long. ((4.5 stars)) Sunny…read moreand Annie's is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem of a corner store and deli. it's packed with packaged foods--candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, beer, and a lot more plus the deli counter serves ups an endless list of creative sandwiches. i am not going to say this place is cramped but it kinda is. for example, if people stand in the wrong areas of the store, it will cause a complete standstill of a traffic jam in the store. my advice: order from the deli (and stand somewhere people aren't trying to get to) or grab whatever you need, pay, and leave. this place is not a place to linger. keep it moving. anyway, the obvious draw of Sunny & Annie's is the endless list of sandwiches that are handwritten cards that are stuck outside glass of the deli counter. there is literally something for the pickiest eaters--from hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, and more. some sandwiches are named celebrities, politicians, etc. i have ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and have not made it through much of the menu. you can also create your own Frankenstein monster of a sandwich. while the sandwiches are a big part of the draw, the insane amount of snack foods crammed into the store is quite remarkable from the large stand of Doritos, Takis, Cheetos and other popular branded snack foods in the front to the separate stand of Wise snacks to an entire back corner of the store filled with all kinds of chips, popcorn, etc. imo, Sunny's has the freshest-tasting Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. i know an insane take consider it's a packaged popcorn snack from a megacorp (PepsiCo), but i'll die on this hill. maybe it's cause Sunny's sells a lot of Smartfood popcorn so it gets refreshed often, maybe they have a secret in/pipelinbe from the factory, or it's just magic/alchemy. i don't know, but the Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn never tastes stale-ish like it does at grocery stores, the bags never feel deflated because they have been on shelf long, and the popcorn never has that soft mouthy feel but still has the crunch to it. maybe it's just me, but Sunny's serves a great list of sandwiches...AND the freshest Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. beyond the snacks, the service from the deli to cashier is upbeat and friendly. in all seriousness, Sunny and Annie's is an Avenue B institution at this point and remains a charming family-owned store--and is NOT a sterile modern clone of a neighborhood business.
