This is a Hawaiian influenced hometown spot. Basic fare with kahlua pork, spam and Portuguese sausage mixed in. The food is good and you can tell it's homemade. I really enjoyed the country potatoes. Our biggest challenge with Scramblers Cafe was the service. Nobody who was working was attentive or seemed the least bit interested in being there. My bacon and eggs came out over 5 minutes before my husbands Eggs Benedict. Then I had to track three people down for my biscuits and gravy. I've been back since my last review. I got the breakfast burrito with turkey sausage and my partner got theirs with spam. We were both so blown away. That has got to be the best breakfast burrito I have had anywhere in a while! The eggs were so fluffy, burrito was full of flavors, and the potatoes were like home fries cut in 4's and it was sooo good! I highly recommend. We came in on a Saturday afternoon after a spooky hike at Pumpkin rock. There was a bit of a line, however, it moved really quickly. There is plenty of parking and seating both outdoors and inside. This place has an excellent variety of food at an accessible price. Food rundown: you need to order the Ube pancakes and latte! These might be the best pancakes I've ever had as they are super fluffy, flavorful, and aesthetically pleasing. The coconut flavor just works so wonderfully in the pancakes. The French toast came with so much fruit which we were happy about and the side of potatoes were perfectly crisp. The pork eggs Benedict was our least favorite as the meat was lacking seasoning and the muffin was a bit soggy. I tried this place for the first time based on my friend's boyfriend's recommendation! The menu is Hawaiian inspired, which I've never experienced before, and although it's nowhere close to me, I would totally make the drive just to eat here for brunch! Rather than a server, you order the food at the register first. They give you a table/number and wait while sipping on water/juice (I highly recommend the P.O.G!!) for them to drop off the food. The place is especially bustling on a Saturday at 11 AM, but you definitely don't have to wait long before you get your delicious plate of food in front of you. While the weather is nice, I would probably recommend sitting inside rather than outside since I had some issues dealing with bugs floating by me. I ordered the Kalua pork benedict, my friend got the vanilla macadamia pancakes, and her boyfriend got the loco moco with fried rice. I didn't get to try the loco moco, but it looked delicious. I was so excited and looking forward to the perfect breakfast today. Was a little disappointed when I couldn't remember what I had ordered before so I went with what I thought was it, the pork Benedicts! We decided to eat at the restaurant which is dictated with your order, oops because I had sat in one of the most confortable tables (on the back). The food came separately which meant I had to try each others food. First came the moco loco which was very tasty and just right. Then came the pancakes which just sat there because I wanted them as dessert and finally came my eggs Benedict. The potatoes were delicious but the Benedict was a tad cold. I've been here a few times but never had a chance to write a review. This time I got to let everyone know my favorite dish from scramblers cafe. This is what I ordered! Spicy Chicken & Bacon Waffle - A thick piece of chicken and bacon piled up on top of a waffle, covered in mild spicy sauce and sprinkled with shredded cheeses. The chicken was crispy and tender. The waffle was crispy on the edge and soft in the middle. The sauce was sweet, spicy, and a little tangy. A perfect bite was taking a huge bite with a piece of everything on it. Highly recommended. FYI: Dining here is a bit different from the traditional restaurant. You will have to wait in line to order your food first, then you will be assigned to a table. I'm not sure how that works if all the tables were taken though. The line can be very long at peak times. I recommend calling in to check on the availability prior to arrival. Very poor service from this one older lady with a bun in her hair and glasses. We come here a lot but the past two times were crappy because of her odd behavior. They had us wait for a table, a group came after us, acknowledged we were there first and took our table we been waiting for. Someone had told them to get up to give the table that was rightfully ours to us but then this lady with the glasses told them to sit back down and take it. My family's go to brunch spot in our area. They have indoor and outdoor seating available for those who choose to dine there. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, from the classic loco moco to their cap'n mac nut French toast..they have something for almost everyone, even probably the pickiest eater. Everything I've tried was delicious, but I almost always get the loco moco (hamburger patty) with fried rice (additional $1.50). They get busy on weekends, so I suggest getting there shortly after they open if dining there, or calling in your order to go. read more

Wow! This place lost their Aloha in the last year since we were here! My bff and I stayed in Corona and agreed we'd come here for breakfast on the way home instead of eating the free breakfast at our hotel. Our experience last year was amazing! So we got in line and I ordered the Triple 2 for both of us. Hers was scrambled with cheese, buttermilk pancakes with Portuguese sausage and I had eggs over medium, blueberry ricotta pancakes, Portuguese sausage and a side of fruit. The girl who took my order asked if I wanted strawberries and bananas or mixed fruit, I asked for mixed fruit. I paid, including tip. Our order was placed at 10:45am. At 11:23 an order was brought out, it was my friends order with an Ube pancake. We did not order an ube pancake. So the girl left and came back again with the same thing. I told her no, that's not correct. She left my friends breakfast which was correct. I waited a few minutes and went inside to see what was happening and the young lady who took my order said she didn't hear I wanted fruit and I reminded her she asked me which kind I wanted. She was so rude! I must admit I may have been a jerk in return! But damn! I had been waiting for 40 freaking minutes for pancakes and eggs! At 11:30----45 minutes after placing my order ---my food was delivered with the wrong fruit! She took it back and brought the right one out. My over medium eggs were over hard, my pancakes were a little under done. The Portuguese sausage was the only saving grace. I have suggested this place to everyone I meet who talks about driving to SoCal from Vegas- now I have to call them all back and tell them not to bother! What a disappointment!! Been coming to this place couple times a month since moving to the area 3 years ago, and this has to be one of the favorite places. Restaurant is located in a small strip mall so parking at times may be difficult, especially where the Starbucks drive-thru line begins and ends. The lines may be long on weekends as well, but the wait is worth it. There are indoor and outdoor seating, but seating is assigned to you after you pay at the register. I always get the usual Loco Moco w/ hamburger patty, over easy eggs and upgrade to fried rice and extra patty option. Have tried a few of the French Toasts, and they're all amazing, so it's always tough to choose which to get. The current side dish must are the Ube pancakes! So light and fluffy and not too sweet. Stand in line, order at register, and take a seat at your assigned table and in about 20min, you'll be served with amazing food that makes you feel like you're in Hawaii instead of Norco. I loved the pancake and chicken fried steak and I love their biscuits and gravy. I plan to try all their pancakes, and it's definitely my go to breakfast joint now. How it works: you first get in line and order your food. They will ask if you want inside or outside and tell you which table to sit so don't worry about trying to grab a table. Otherwise, I think it would mess up their system. You may want to study their menu if you don't want to hold up the line since you order before you sit. I ordered their Cap'n Crunch macadamia nut French toast which came with a coconut cream sauce. Taste wise it was delicious with the sauce and my dad absolutely adored it. You can sit indoors or outdoors, we said whichever is fastest. They cleaned an indoor table for 2 very quick and by the time we were done ordering we were sitting.
