We were bombarded with 2 pride flags when we pulled in the parking lot. One of which says "everyone's welcome here". Then we walked in the vestibule to be "welcomed" with some sort of pride ladder with notes of encouragement in it. The door has a bunch of stop signs on it saying to wait outside the door to be seated. The wait is quite awkward to say the least. Especially when no less than 4 waitresses make eye contact with you and don't bother to acknowledge your existence. Looking through the window like a puppy dog we could see that there were plenty of open seating. After waiting for an exorbitant amount of time being shunned, we decided to leave. From the moment we walked in, I could feel the relaxing & familial atmosphere. We arrived at the same time as 2 snowmobilers which made me realize the restaurant is located right off the trail. All I could think is how incredible that must be-- riding around & then stopping for delicious food at a super small, friendly diner. An elderly couple walked in & were greeted by name. They joked about how much they missed the waitresses. You can tell most of the patrons were regulars. Anyhow, we ordered pancakes, crab cake Benedict, & a basic breakfast plate with eggs, toast, home fries, bacon. Everything was fantastic. Portions are generous. The waitress complimented my daughter's breakfast pajamas & assured us, Sally, who was cooking our food, would be out to see them. She did in fact come out & was truly such a gem. I politely mentioned it to our waitress, who appeared surprised and said she would double-check. She returned with the menu, placed it in front of us, pointed to the listed prices, and commented that she hadn't realized the discrepancy herself. The difference on our bill was only about $4 to $5, so it wasn't a major financial issue. However, my concern is that many customers may not carefully compare the menu prices to their final bill and may never notice if there is a pricing discrepancy. I'm sharing this review not to criticize, but in the hope that ownership or management will look into it and make sure the menu pricing and register pricing are consistent. I enjoyed the food and service and would return, but I believe this is something that should be addressed for the benefit of both the restaurant and its customers.

Only IHOP does that and it's way too much butter. If you are eating all of that butter, you might need an extra dose of lipitor. Toast = kind of boring S&S pancakes = kind of tasted like pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Home fries = those were good I was there with two 16-year olds who both thought the food was "mid". I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. Her eyes were huge and she was trying to figure out where to start. That waffle looked pretty good and as I passed the table, her dad was leaning in to "help out and keep the plate clean". They sell a lot of baseball hats and t-shirts.
