When I spoke to the manager she told me that she will remake my order but I have to pick up. She said they are busy to deliver so I have to pick it up. First time here. Ordered the Tuesday special which is an XL pizza with 5 toppings. The whole center of the pizza was wet, soggy and needed to be removed in order to eat. The family members who ate after us needed to use the air fryer to make the pizza a little crispy or at least not soggy. I was so grossed out I did not eat any. I went to Norco for a soccer tournament this weekend and before leaving, we wanted to get a bite to eat. I'm from an area where you can get food till midnight on a Saturday night, and seeing that many places were already closed at 8:30 was a bit different. When I looked up "popular restaurants near me" Scratch Pizza came up. I'm a pizza lover, so I had to try it. The pizza was soooooooooo good. It was freshly made! The bar was pretty high to try and top or even match what I had in NYC. As I entered Scratch Pizza, I was greeted right away with a smile. The employees were polite and patient. I ordered an extra large five topping pizza which was the online special. After waiting only 15 minutes, the pizza was ready to go. The employee thanked me and said have a good day. In my car I had a slice and I have to say that I was really impressed. The Crust was tasty and not soggy, the sauce was delicious, although next time I'll order extra sauce. 2nd time for me to try their pizza. Two totally different experiences. The first time was during the week and the pizza was absolutely amazing! Thick cheese, lots of sausage and olives, and the taste was just WOW! My 2nd time was today. Don't know if it was because it's the weekend but the pizza was sub-par by comparison. Not nearly as much in the way of toppings and less cheese. Kinda disappointing since my wife and her family has had getting this pizza for years. **UPDATED** From 1 star to 4. Received a phone call from the General Manager the following morning. She was understanding and they have taken care of this situation. We really appreciate Scratch standing by their business and taking care of their customers. Thank you! Only tried this place twice and have not been impressed either time. The first time my wife and I ordered a pizza for pickup, they seemed a little confused as to which pizza was mine. Ok, benefit of the doubt, no biggie. The 2nd time (last night) my wife ordered a pizza for me to pick up at 7:45pm. When I got there, again the staff (which consisted of about 5 or 6 people in the kitchen) was confused on which pizza was mine until they realized that they accidentally gave my pizza to someone else. Really?? No other pizza place has ever done that to me and I have eaten a lot of pizza in my lifetime. Scratch has not only done it on just my 2nd visit ever, but they literally almost did it on my first visit as well. I was watching 3 employees quietly talk about it amongst each other, as if trying to figure out how to tell me. Being that I was in a slight hurry, I broke up their conversation and asked them if they could just cancel the order for me and refund my card. They kind of looked at each other not knowing which employee knew how to do a refund. Then when they attempted to do the refund, it seemed as if the guy was struggling a bit and said "I'm gunna have to go to the back office computer to process it". Thinking it was going to take longer to process my refund than to just replace my order, I had them replace my pizza while I made a quick run up the street to stater bros. When I got back, pizza was ready and an apology was offered, which was appreciated. However, I would have expected a free pizza, or a voucher for next time, or at least a free drink for the inconvenience? At the end of the day, look, the staff was cordial and this seems like a cool, unique place to grab pizza from but the communication/training amongst the staff needs to be greatly improved. I get it, it was a Friday night, semi-busy and there were a lot of "cooks in the kitchen". But being in management myself and leading teams for the passed 10 years, I know first hand that there are ways to properly manage and control that, especially when properly staffed. I wish Scratch the best but my wife and I unfortunately will no longer be eating their pizza. read more

My family member arrived at the shop and of course the order wasn't ready because it was never placed since the guy never came back on the phone to take my order. He complained to the guy (dark brownish/black hair) and the guy's response was, "I can't do everything, I'm just one guy." He had an annoyed demeanor and attitude about it and didn't even acknowledge or apologize. The F? Seriously, we spent so much with your business and this is the type of treatment we get? Even if you don't apologize, at least don't act like a jerk. YOU were the one who had ME on hold and never came back so why are YOU acting like we dumped you for a Shitzu? My family member said he acted like he just got dumped or something. No matter what the case, don't let it out on your customers ESPECIALLY the loyal ones. On top of that, my family member asked for an extra ranch or two (for the trouble) and the guy wouldn't even give it. His response was, "We're not allowed to give it away." Seriously, it was like... what... 60-70 cents? Are your owners THAT CHEAP to accommodate a ticked off customer ONE TIME? This unacceptable experience was enough to put us off for good from this place. We regret even ordering after that whole ordeal. The pizza was lacking and I wouldn't be surprised if he purposely sabotaged our pizza. We always order from here and the pizza was always decent but this time it wasn't good at all.
