BEWARE!! I paid $320 to have a patio screen door installed by them which at first was great. Then about a year or so later their "heavy duty" handle latch kept getting loose and would lock me outside in my back yard. So I unscrewed it one day and lost one piece to it. I called screenmobile to buy a new handle they wanted $150. Just got the handle. They would not sell it to me to screw it on myself. Not only that the lady that answers yelp and their calls is super rude. She's like do you want it or what? I was really happy with this company at first and even referred them to my boss! This is a really tough review to write. Several companies had a screen minimum and Screen Mobile was willing to do just 3 windows. My windows have tinting and very little heat gets through them so I was just looking to block sunlight. I chose the upgraded 95% screens for my bedroom and shower hoping it would block 95% of the sunlight. It blocked maybe 50% at best so basically no help at all and a complete waste of money for me. If they were honest when I said I was only interested in blocking light, they would have told me their sunscrreens won't black near 95% of the light. On the other hand, they did good work, were good people to work with and gave me a slight discount when I told them to just remove the screen from the shower window as it was completely useless. If you are looking to block UV rays and want a LITTLE more shade, 90 and 95% will probably work. But if you are looking to just block sunlight, these are not the answer. So I only give them 3 stars when they did nice work, but in the end if it doesn't address my needs at all it's hard to recommend them. read more

I ordered a screen door with a dog door insert, and it was presented to me as a high-quality product with a small security feature for the dog door. The same that was shown to me was the door itself, with no fittings or security closure. I was excited to add this to my home. I did not see the screen door until It was installed. I did not inspect it closely right away since the installer was standing by, waiting for his check, I am surprisied that installer assumed I was satisfied with the work, as I didn't get to see it prior to the installation. Upon closer inspection afterward, I was disappointed with the cheap fittings and the flimsy piece of cardboard provided to close the dog door. The board to secure the dog door was attached to the outside of the door--not the inside, as one might expect for security. Additionally, the piece provided to secure the door had a sticker on it to not leave it outside. Overall, the product did not meet the expectations set by the initial presentation. During my first conversation with Kendra at Screenmobile she asked me if I would be willing to keep the screen door if they would refund 50% of the cost. My response was no. I was told she would call me back when someone was available to pickup of this item. When I called to see when they would be picking up the door I was informed by Kendra that she had spoken to the manager who stated that this was a custom order that I had approved and that they were not going to do anything.. I was not shown the flimsy cheap fitting on the door, or that the closure would be placed on the outside of the screen. I would never have ordered this door if those details had been presented. I feel this situation was handled poorly. Additionally, the quality of the product was cheap and unusable since it cannot be secured when not in use. If you intend to do business with this company be very careful. Quality is not a priority with this company. read more

I had been putting off replacing sunscreens at our house due to the large number of windows and perceived high cost. But I am very glad I called Screemobile who staff was incredibly friendly and quick to provide a very affordable quote. They showed up on time and the screens look great. My wife was happy that the bright sun (even in winter) that streamed into our kitchen was subdued greatly by the screens while not obscuring the view of our backyard. Had an appointment set with Screenmobile to give us a quote on replacing all of our window and door screens. The day before the appointment they cancelled. They told us they could be out here today, 6/20, at 1:00 p.m. instead. So I've planned my day and other appointments around this 1:00 timeframe. At 7:45 A.M. they call my husband saying they will be at our house in 15 mins, at 8:00! 5 hours early?! Trying to compromise as best we could we told him the earliest we could reschedule would be noon today. He said that wouldn't work for him and we would need to reschedule. BUT they made all new screen frames on-site at a very affordable price. Then they fixed two sagging and loose screen done by a local hardware store. 6 new frames with screen and two screen frames repaired was less than half the price of the local hardware store. read more

I have never had a worse experience IN MY LIFE working on a home improvement job for my home (and I have done a LOT). I was talked to extremely disrespectfully by the tech (Sonny). When I had questions about pricing because they wrote up our quote incorrectly- he got all angry with me and told me he doesn't have time to deal with this and I was irritating him. Then told me he can make the other screen for the door (which we wanted in the first place) but told me he was going to charge and additional $180+ and a $35 gas fee to drive 7 miles back to the shop to get more materials.) I couldn't believe the way I was being spoken to, or how I was being treated. HE misunderstood our job and what we needed obviously. Why should we have to pay for that? He eventually said "you know what find someone else to do the job, I KNOW people like YOU, why don't you go leave a review- I bet you're good at that, and make sure you include my name". He was extremely condescending, and talking to me as if I was trash and not a paying customer.I had to take the day off work to be home for this job, then he decides it's "too much work" for him and he doesn't have time- and tells me to find someone else. Leaves an absolute mess of metal shards front and back, packs up his stuff- pushes the metal around that's on the floor in "attempt" to clean it... and drives off and tells me to call his manager. I called, and called and called. Finally 5 hours later I got ahold of Jamie, and she had still not heard anything about this encounter I had with her employee. Told her everything, she was appalled and needed a day to "think this over" I even sent her video footage. Called me the next day and her resolution was to have the owner do the install two days later..... that was it. I had to ASK for a discount, and then was being accused for just trying to get a discount all along. They offered me 5% off. Really? 5% after I was verbally abused by your employee, missed a days worth of work for nothing, and had to clean metal shards from my house with a job left undone. I was offended. That didn't even cover the taxes. They refused to give me any more of a discount, and told me they wouldn't refund my $200 deposit. Why would I even want to do business with you after my last encounter? I would need a big discount to make it even worth it. I told them I WILL NOT accept that.... Had to send multiple messages following... finally they refunded my $200 deposit and told ME they don't want to service me any longer. That made me chuckle. I couldn't even believe this was real life ?! I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a business I was paying to have services done for at my home. If I were you, I would stay away. Stay weary, and ask for anyone other than Sonny if you for some reason still choose to work with this company after reading this (which I would strongly recommend you don't). I have literally lost sleep over this, as it upset me so much. read more

I was hesitant to call and get a qoute for screens for the house but talking to the staff at the office was super friendly, efficient and they did not hide any costs. The price is very affordable as well, I was pleasantly surprised! Sonny, the technican came out ready to install screens and we discussed what i wanted in detail. We decided on a better type of screen and color, which had to be ordered and made. Once ready Sonny came back out and installed them. They Look Awesome! it really transforms the way the house looks and more importantly will keep the AZ heat at bay. =) Sonny is an exceptional tech, very honest, fast, efficient, easy to talk to and very knowledable about all types of screen products. This was my second time hiring Screenmobile at this location for my sun screens. I contacted them to install my bay window screens. My request by email was for 2 side windows and the middle of a bay. My assumption was that would be a total of 3 screens. Install day comes and the tech arrives. I said good morning, advised him the gate has a latch, no lock and where the bay window was and he started building the screens. He didn't go over the work order with me ( like the first time the tech did when we hired them) and I was confident in what I requested in my emails so I trusted everyone was on the same page. I looked out of my window and see him building 4 screens that look relatively the same size. So I went outside to let him know that the middle window was ordered in my email as one large screen. He was very nice about it, apologized that he missed that and said he would make me one large screen if that's what I wanted. By this point, he had already drilled 4 permanent holes in my window frames for those 2 screens to sit in the middle window and informed me that that is how they do it. I was upset that with two separate screens because there would be a gap in the middle of the window and visible holes during the off-season when I take the screens down. So, he said he could caulk the holes but he didn't have the tan color on his truck and to make an appointment and he would come back to fix those. I trusted him- and that he could cover the holes, and I then felt comfortable making the decision to have the one large screen made and installed in the middle window. He left me with one of the 1/2 screens he created in case we wanted to build the other half to help with any gaps during the caulk appointment. All of this was a misunderstanding that took place due to miscommunication. I wasn't upset with the tech, I just trying to make the best decision for our home at the time. I was trying to reach my husband by phone to see if we should do the 2 separate screens prior to the tech telling me he could fill the holes and the tech was working during that time building the screen but here longer than usual due to the need to rebuild the larger screen and I never did reach him during those 30 minutes. He finished up, I thanked him for his patience, paid him, tipped him and he left. I then reached out to Screenmobile and sent photos to ask for an appointment for one of the screens to be tucked because of an overlap in material, a window divider that fell and that they could caulk the holes ( which I was told to do by the technician). Screenmobile's website states that " they want to make sure that every customer is treated with the utmost care" so I felt comfortable letting them know that I had some minor concerns/issues that I wanted to have remedied. That is, until their office manager emails me " to have all discussions with family members taken care of before my tech comes out". As well as," I do want to let you know that we don't fill holes with caulk". So, I'm thinking, my gosh that doesn't sound like someone who cares about treating a customer with care. I felt like she was angry with me that her tech was here longer than usual on my job that day. I emailed her when she dismissed my long, sincere explanation of what happened and that I would ask that it's not always assumed that it's miscommunication on the part of the customer and she emailed me back " I understand your concerns, I will have ( her tech) out on Monday. No acknowledgement, no empathy, no concern or care. She left me a voicemail and an email that she wanted to speak to me to clarify this issue. I returned her call and after speaking to her, I clearly understood why she didn't wanna communicate with me any longer by email. I explained the situation again and she began gaslighting me. I asked her if she saw my original email requesting my order and if she could understand how a customer might not know that two screens are made for one large window. She disagreed. She then says to me " Maybe if you didn't run back in the house he would've went over the order with you". I never even left my house than morning to run anywhere, I met him at the front door. All I was asking is for Screenmobile to to meet me half way and discount one half of the second screen due to the misunderstanding, which after spending over $500 in business with them, ON TOP of being treated poorly I was still willing to pay another $90+ tax. She refused and I said, " I can't believe you're treating me this way and that I guess I was done doing business with Screenmobile". She said Sonny will be there to pick up the screen on Monday and we hung up. So, with all of the screen companies out there, I chose this one. They chose to handle this situation as if I wasted their time, didn't care about remedying this and working with me on any level and blamed me instead of taking at least some responsibility. read more
