Ordered an air compressor online, with 2-day air shipping, and the company did not ship the compressor, allegedly tried to reach me (received no voicemails and no emails from anyone in customer service until I called for an order status update), and when I finally got them on the phone they said there was a "system glitch" and tried to double my shipping cost, as well as raise the price of the part while I was on hold with them, while I was looking at their webpage. They refused to ship me the part until I paid the "difference", and would not honor the price of the part that I was quoted on their website. Meanwhile, they were more than happy to immediately charge my credit card over $1k for the part I ordered. Unacceptably deceitful business practice, as well as extraordinarily mediocre customer service. I canceled my order straight away and paid $200 more to another company that I actually trust and have reliably used. The online chat is foreign-based and has no authority to do anything. This may explain what happened to me, but it has me scratching my head as to why anyone else should order from this company. Key point: SD Springs KNOWS that they will often take 2+ MONTHS to send their orders to the actual parts manufacturers (SD Springs doesn't hold inventory)!! I have been patient with this company. Originally I order 2 items (needed 2 to complete the install). They only shipped one and stated it was a manufacturer problem that the other part didnt ship. It was over a month waiting for the other part (so I ordered via another vendor and got them within 3 business days). They did give me a credit ($100 I think) due to the error in timeliness delivery of both parts. So I contacted SD Truck Springs and began the RMA process. I followed their exact return policy procedures. I have the tracking # and provided it to customer service. It has been over 2 months and still didn't get the credit back from the company. I ordered truck springs on April 11, 2023. Initially, I was thrilled with the quick shipment of my springs, hangers, shackles, etc. Then when it was time to install them, we discovered the order wasn't complete. The company did not send any information indicating some items were delayed. It took many call attempts to actually reach someone in customer service. He told me the parts were enroute from the manufacturer, but couldn't say when we might have them. I asked for some timeline on these parts, and he promised to call me back with details. Never heard another word Now an additional week and a half have gone by. I have emailed and attempted to call numerous times. When you call, you end up on hold for 20 min before reaching a call center that takes your info and promises a callback. No one ever calls back. A miracle occurred. I called again and actually reached a customer service agent. He even confirmed they had received my email. Great! Now the bad news. They promise to reach out to the manufacturers about my parts(same thing they said last time) and they will call me with an update (also what was promised last time). Bottom line. they have no timeline for my parts. Had I known there would be this delay I would have purchased elsewhere. Perhaps you should as well. read more

Placed an order on 03/11/2023. Shows the part was in stock (at least on their website) so I place the order. After ordering (Sat), the following Monday I got a notification saying order is in process, so I'm thinking wow, they work fast, it's already being processed. Here is an objective account of my experience with SD truck springs. I ordered a firestone compressor July 14. Received confirmation email July 15. It is August 11, and I have received no compressor or information on shipping. I emailed asking about the order on July 27, and got a reply back on August 2 saying, and I quote exact as written, ""Hello sorry for delays yes the eta is around 3-4 weeks right now the warehouses have been backed up lately". On August 3, I replied back asking can they cancel my order and refund my card. It is now August 11 and still no reply. From my current experience, SD Truck Springs has very little to no customer service. I have made several attempts to call customer service but no answer after 10-20 minutes. Today, it timed out and went to a voice mail. I hope someone calls back or emails because my money is tied up and my time is being wasted. From my experience, my guess is... If a customer has an issue, it's highly unlikely anyone will get a representative, whether customer service is called or emailed. My thought is, they are more than likely having some business issues of some sort, and are unstaffed or understaffed at best. I attempted to order airbags 10 days ago. I chose SD Truck Springs rather than the local shop because the dealer stated the airbags would be a week out and SD Truck Springs guaranteed they would be delivered in three days, and shipped the same day. I needed the airbags on the truck before we went on a long haul with the camper so I wanted them ASAP in case I ran into installation issues. At the time of this writing the airbags have not yet even shipped. After about four hours of attempting to speak with a customer service rep (after 15 minutes Of being on hold a recorded voice says "sorry no one is available to help you" and hangs up), she stated the order would be shipped the next day and delivered in 2-3 days. This did not occur either. I understand the pandemic may be causing delays but their site does not say anything about delayed processing. Seeming because they don't want to lose a sale knowing people may go elsewhere if they are transparent about their logistical issues. I asked three times as to how I could receive a refund and they refused to answer. They gave me the run around about how the order is going to be shipped soon. If you like poor customer service, no way to speak with customer service reps, a deceitful product page, empty promises, slow order processing, and no way to refund your money, then SD Truck Springs is right for you. If not, support your local mom and pop shops as I should have done. Lesson learned. read more

I got great service from Bethany Peterson! I am going to recommend this company to my mechanic based solely on her performance. I was very disappointed until I reached her through FB. I know these are trying times so I'm giving a pass to the Sales department that never returned my call after I had left several messages. I would only suggest for now at the least put a comment on your site to let people know you are not shipping in 24 hrs and are short staffed or whatever the reason is I could never get through to a live person when I called the phone number. Not happy with this company, I ordered a set of Hellwig LP35 springs for my pickup. It took me 12 business days to get them, the mounting hardware did not fit. It only came with 1 U-bolt that would work, 4 others were too short. No problem, I was irritated, but they told me over the phone to send them some pictures. I emailed them some pictures, showing what was wrong, the short U-bolt next to the long U-bolt along with a tape measure in the picture. I told them I wanted it overnight to me, I spent $524, waited longer than I should have had too, and the mounting hardware did not work. So they overnighted me another hardware kit, just like the one I already had with the short U-bolts in it!!! Not what I needed! I was livid, I called SD Truck Springs again and told them to send a call tag for all of it and to give me my money back, I was finished. I have ordered 1000's of dollars of parts from these guys for my F-350 and F-450. They will tell you they have your parts in stock when they actually don't! I ordered Timbrens front and rear, heavy duty leaf springs, a two inch rear lift and a Helwig rear sway bar. I made an appointment in advance to get this installed on my F-450. The parts didn't show up as promised and I had to call numerous times to inquire being put on hold for 20 plus minutes every time before I could talk to a customer service rep. They all promised to call me back to let me know the status of my shipments and that turned out to be TOTAL BS! I ordered sawy bars for my truck front and back on November 13th in order to go on vacation December 5th. After receiving the bars I noticed they sent 2 7306 bars being the rear ones. I live chatted with someone November 29th and they said they will look into it and give me a call back. On November 30th I called and talked to someone in which told me they will get ahold of the manufacturer to figure this out. 6hrs later I still haven't heard back so I called again and found out that someone on their side messed up. SD Truck Springs CONTROLS THEIR WEBSITE REVIEWS, they will not post your review if there is any negativity. Very pleased with the product (Torque Air Spring Kit), purchased in March of 2020. However, SD Truck Springs left me high & dry on 4 missing bolts & hardware, not just pull out of the bin bolts but run to 3 stores, 1/2 tank of fuel, lost time and $28 bucks worth of 5/8 by 4" grade 8's.
