I went in with low expectations because smash burgers are not my favorite, but wanted to try them since they were at the baker winery. I got the western burger and fries an everything was so good. I will definitely get again! I think this may be the best burger I've had in Sacramento since moving here 5 months ago. I expected it to be bland and messy since the grill marks on the bun seems like show food but it was great. Very messy!
Food truck at Nitty's Cider in Sacramento on a Saturday afternoon and evening. We ordered the Loaded Fries, Spicy Pig Smash Burger, and Chicken Tenders with Fries. Service and food was food. Prices were reasonable.
I've been to my fair share of mobile food trucks in my time. This takes me to one of (if not) the best burgers I have tried that come out of a truck, this is none other than "Señor Burger". I knew absolutely nothing about this wildly popular place as my coworker told me that I've gotta try it. So I did and I am shocked that I waited so long! Considering this place has only been around since mid-2023, not a lot of people have heard of them. But due to the popularity of social media as well as many major food truck events/festivals, this is one of the most popular food trucks in the Sacramento metropolitan area. Their main focus is grilling up delicious smash-burgers. This method is essentially pressing a ball of ground beef onto a seasoned hot skillet. The finished product is a flattened and juicy layer of beef with crispy edges. Their menu is quite simple but effective as you can order your burger with 1x patty called the "Plain Jane" or the more popular option called "The Classic" with is 2x patties. The burgers come fully equipped with cheese, onions, pickles, and their signature Señor sauce. And all buns come with a custom branding iron showcasing their business name, a really nice touch. Some of their other popular burgers include the "Spicy Pig" (with spicy sauce & banana peppers), the "After School" (with potato chips), and the "Western" with jalapeños & onion rings. They also carry a vegan burger, fries/loaded fries, chicken tenders, and a secret menu option, their "Chopped Cheese". This is a East Coast/NYC style sandwich w/chopped ground beef, onions, and cheese. For my visit, me and a group of friends ventured to Rocklin, CA where we went to "Moksa Brewing Company" during the evening of Friday 8/1/2025. This is where Señor Burger reserved their truck from 4-8pm. Since I was starving, we decided to go all out by going with the two orders of "The Classic" (2x) complete with an order of fries as well as an order of "Loaded Fries". Since we had already purchased beer at the brewery, we were all set on drinks. Even though it was busy, all of our food was ready in just under 10 minutes. I will say that this place dishes out some of the best smash-burgers I have ever tried. The flavor, seasoning, crispiness of the charred beef, melted cheese, and toasted bun is on a whole other level. The fries are also very crispy and very similar to those Jack-in-the-Box seasoned curly fries. All in all, "Señor Burger" is the real deal. The guys that work here are great and the prices are very reasonable with a 2x smash complete w/fries and a drink for only $15. My rating, a unanimous five stars.
Their breakfast burrito is so good! I haven't had one with salami before and this is my new go to. It took about 10 min to get our food on a busy farmers market Saturday and I was impressed at how fast it was. Super easy to eat and not messy. They are my favorite vendor at the farmers market and I can't wait to come back soon.

Finally got to try this Smash Burger Truck because I also finally went to the Saturday Midtown's Farmers Market. It was definitely worth it and worth waking up early on Saturday lol. I got the spicy pig and it was delicious! The patty was smashed to perfection with crispy skirts, it had melty cheesy with crispy bacon and some peppers along with their spicy sauce, it was such a wholesome burger for a Saturday brunch fueled me to continue to checkout all the other vendors around the market. Overall I'll definitely be tracking them down via IG to try their other goodies!
I'm always hunting around for a good deal at bars, restaurants, and hotels. Today I stumbled across one at a food truck called Senor Burger. I spent $10.00 on a burger $3.00 on a side of fries, and $1.00 on some ranch dressing, for a total of $14.00 before tax. Okay, paying a $1.00 for ranch wasn't so great, but everything else was pretty reasonable, considering a lot of other food trucks charge that much just for a burger. Well, I'm happy to say my burger was tasty, and very filling. It grilled onions on top, their senior sauce, and crispy edges from the way they cooked it. They gave me a pile of fries so large, I had a hard time finishing them. If I were to voice one criticism, I would say the fries could have been a little fresher. Overall it was a good meal though. The truck was busy during my visit, but the service was still good. The staff worked hard and got my food out quickly.
Service was great and the folks working were extremely welcoming. Regular smash burger: it's delicious, flavorful and made just right. The onions complimented everything together. Only flaw is that it's $11ish for a small burger. Wished we had time to try their other offerings
Best Smash Burger in town!!! Señor Burger pulled up to Nitty's Cider in East Sac tonight and I'm glad they did! After a few ciders, I decided it was time to eat. Let me tell you, EAT I did! This was my first time so I asked the professional if I should do the Western or the Spicy Pig... He said, why not do both in one?... So I did! And it was delicious. The environment was not theirs, but they treated it as if they own the place. I hope they pull up to an establishment near you one day. The food was extremely delicious and the service was even better. I cannot wait to order from them again!
I wanted try a new spot and support local businesses. These guys were had a food truck with Sactomofo here at my job. Ordered a Spicy Pig Smash and this is what a got! Definitely not a Spicy Pig. You advertise 4 burgers and didn't even get one of your burgers right. All good. At least I gave it a try.
Veggie friendly food truck alert! I pulled up to Bike Dog and was so excited to see vegan options clearly defined on their menu. Friendly staff, cool vibe and quick service. Their food really complimented the awesome Bike Dog beverage. Vegan Smash was really good (beyond patty) with some delicious sauce...don't skip the fries!
10/10 - SO BOMB! I'm usually a smash burger hater but even though the patty is squished, the burger itself feels packed. The yellow peppers aren't spicy at all so no need to worry if you have a low spice tolerance. The fries were welllll seasoned. I honestly dont have any notes + would absolutely come back! I found this truck at the Midtown Farmers Market on a Saturday and came as it was closing. By that time, they were sold out of the chopped cheese but definitely want to try one of the burgers chopped next time! read more

Dang this burger truck is seriously good! I recently found them parked in front of MainStage on broadway and ordered up a classic smash burger and fries. First off the fries were off the rails good - I think maybe the best fries I've ever had - they were hot, super crispy on the outside and really well seasoned. The burger was also incredible! I have been following this food truck on IG for quite some time and finally got an opportunity to try it at the farmers market. My husband got the classic smash and added jalapeños to it. The meat was well seasoned and had crispy edges. Was a large burger and extremely filling. I got the breakfast smash and they swapped the regular cheese for dairy free for me. I love they have additional options! The breakfast sandwich was HUGE!! Definitely bigger than the burger and came with a hashbrown patty. I put the hashbrown on my sandwich. Delish!! The sauce was awesome and the bacon had a sweet chili on it. I wish they would do a sausage smash instead of the beef patty but that's just me being picky lol. It was SO good! My only gripe is that the fries came out cold and soggy. The other food was piping hot and fresh, so a little bummed the fries weren't at the same level. They did have a really good seasoning on them though. Will definitely be returning! read more

Bought their original smash burger and oh boy was it good. Definitely worth the money! My sister and I always split a burger because it can be heavy but it's packed with flavor. My Bay Area friends always ask to get this when they come visit, it's seriously that good. Eat it fast because the bun will get soggy from all the juices. The only downside to this place is the wait because it is so popular (for good reason) and they make everything to order. Worth the wait and worth the money. I'll get a burger from this place anytime I see the truck. read more

Señor burger can make a good smash burger! They have some spicier options but I just got the classic and it was delicious. Two smashed patties have great texture and flavor and the sauce, grilled onions, and picked all complement each other very well. I was very happy with it. The burger wasn't huge but it was only $10 which is pretty good for food truck prices. Fries were $5 and they had a few other options on the menu too. My only complaint about the burger was that the bun seemed a little stale. I don't think it was actually stale but the inside was toasted (which I like) and they pressed their logo on the top, which made it a little crunchy. Cool branding but it did change the texture. Burger food trucks often are a little slower than others since everything is made to order. I thought it was worth the wait though! Well done guys. read more

Incredible smash burger. The best I've had in Nor Cal. I am a huge smash burger fan and am willing to drive for hours to get a good smashie. I've driven to LA and the Bay Area (From Stockton); Señor Burger is on par with the famed Easy Street. Phenomenal original smash; incredible Western; decadent specials. Had Señor Burger outside of Drakes Barn during a recent food truck night. Not only were the employees nice and respectful, but the burger was amazing. Buttery, flavorful, and not too heavy in terms of grease or content. I would order the Plain Jane with bacon which was more than enough for both dinner as well as a late night snack (as it was last 9:30PM). Still, other burgers on their menu with double the patty's and cheese also would be worth indulging in, as well. Have to say, one of the better food truck experiences I have had in the Sacramento/Yolo County region! read more
