I would not have found this place if not for GrubHub. It's located at the corner in between office buildings. It's spacious and looks cozy. I ordered Caramel Macchiato and Chia Tea Latte, hot with oat milk. When I arrived, I saw on the menu that there's an option to make it a dirty chia tea latte. The barista was friendly and happy to make modifications. Both drinks were a bit sweeter than expected but they tasted good. I saw they had some bagels that looked very good. Went here to grab breakfast before a dance rehearsal, I originally only looked at the pictures and rating but didn't read the comments. This cafe is INSIDE an office complex. It was really confusing when we pulled up, but luckily there are a couple signs that show you were to go. We got two breakfast sandwiches, two coffees and a muffin. Staff was friendly, food as good. We ate inside and it was really cute. Giving 4 instead of 5 starts for two reasons. 1- location is inconvenient if you aren't working there. 2- since the customer base is corporate, my friend and I were being looked at like we didn't belong by the other guest. They were in suits and we were in sweatpants. The food and service were in no way the issue. But we wouldn't go back to somewhere where the other guest made us feel out of place. read more

This is a great family run cafe in the Regus Office Building in Serra Mesa. I stopped in for breakfast and had a ceremonial grade matcha latte and a plain bagel sausage and egg breakfast sandwich, both came to $13 and some change. First of all, the matcha latte was terrific. It was well made with quality oat milk. It was smooth and rich with great matcha flavor. I asked for a little bit of honey as the only sweetener. I do recommend it. The sausage and egg breakfast bagel was great, too. The egg portion was well seasoned and tasted great. The eggs were nice and fluffy. The breakfast sausage was good and so was the quality of the bagel. The service was very good. The employees and owners were very upbeat and friendly. There's plenty of inside and outside seating as well. The place in not difficult to locate. As you pull up on Granite Ridge Dive, take the first left, you should see a "Sea Ridge Cafe" sign, park between the two large buildings that are facing the east, south east, and walk in between those two buildings and you will run right into the cafe. Sea Ridge Cafe is a family-run operation doing business at a Serra Mesa office complex. It was very difficult to find where the cafe was located within the cluster of buildings. Only a sidewalk sign placed adjacent to a parking lot gave an indication that I was on the right trail. After getting out of my vehicle and walking around randomly, I finally came across an entrance to the correct address where Sea Ridge Cafe was based. I must have approached from the back side as I had to walk through a conference room before arriving. The dining area was made up of a combination of small tables and sofas. You could also eat/drink outside at a central patio between a few of the buildings. Coffee, tea, and smoothies were the beverage offerings. Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, pastries, burritos, and signature sandwiches made up the food choices. I chose an item from the last category which was a Rosemary Ham & Turkey on an Italian roll. Besides the two deli meats, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo, and stone-ground mustard were the ingredients. The size of the sandwich resembled what you can purchase at the deli section of a local supermarket. It wasn't quite 12 inches in length, however it was thicker because of the bread shape. A few more slices of ham and turkey would have made the product a better value for the price. The service was very friendly from the staff as they were wrapping up near closing time. I gave a four star rating for my takeout order from Sea Ridge Cafe. read more

This coffee shop is absolutely amazing!!! My girls and I went right after our bachelorette party and we all got breakfast and coffee. The staff is super friendly and so are the owners. I had the best latte of my entire life which was the strawberry mocha latte! We also had amazing food, including the breakfast burrito and avocado toast! I so wish it was closer to me but we are in LA! We will definitely be back next time we are in San Diego. read more

We live within walking distance of this location, so decided to stop on in to see what the fuss was about. The place was very plain very clearly an office that was renovated to be a café, but I think this would be a great place to do some work just a quiet place to land. Also, there's a really cute outdoor space. The service was really quick. No issues with that. I ended up getting a lemonade Matcha, which was fantastic. I absolutely loved these the combination of flavors. My husband got a sausage sandwich for breakfast. He said it was OK but great Coffee good Matcha probably gonna stop by again. read more

Tried Sea Ridge as it's just up the street from where I live. Lived the clean look and the friendly staff. I ordered an ice hazelnut ice coffee with Oat Milk and it was delicious. Really enjoyed it and will be back to try their sandwiches next. read more

This spot is within some office buildings off of Granite Ridge Drive. I ordered the Goldie which is a brown sugar shaken espresso. I ordered it half sweet with almond milk (default is oat). It is pretty well balanced. I'm glad I gave them a shot. I recommend it if you are in the area. Probably won't end up in my usual coffee rotation since it's in an office building. This was surprisingly the best latte I've had...ever! This latte was just the right amount of everything and it couldn't have been more perfect. They use local coffee beans and ingredients which most likely why this was the best latte I've ever had. I wish I was hungry, so I could get the delicious burritos and sandwiches they had. The service couldn't have been anymore perfect! They were so nice to help me find the perfect coffee for me, and whipped up my latte quickly. I'd try this place out down the line again if their menu expands. Compared to other family owned deli markets in the area, their sandwich options fall short, along with their limited toppings (no pepperchinis, olives, sprouts, roast beef or variety of sauces).
