I don't know where to start. Came there last Sunday and waited 3 hrs with an appt and they were going to send me home without checking my tire or brakes which was why I came. They then quickly checked and said the brakes were fine and that a tire shouldn't cost much. Came back with a tire appt 2 days later and was told my brakes weren't fine and were at 30% and I was lied to on Sunday. They also stated they had no record of me being there Sunday. Then they backtracked and stated the brakes were fine and were actually at 70%. (Why would you take me out the bay and show me the brakes and add on the service needs only to take it back a few moments later). When I left, I had to pay for 2 tires for $270 and 120 for an alignment - somehow that came out to 573 (get your quotes right!). I then proceeded to go home and the tire light was off but an SOS light kept popping up along with the emergency response on the dashboard. I made it home and when I went back out my engine light was now on! When I went back to NTB to explain the issue (causes by them), the guy who quoted wrong, gave the wrong diagnostics and said I was lying about being there then checked on my car- mind you I only stay 1 mile away or less and I came back same day. He stated that the lights were my fault he couldn't do anything about it and that I needed to go to a dealer. My car is 2 years old and this was the worst experience ever, he needs to be fired immediately and I am getting a third opinion from the Lanham NTB. Don't go to to the GREENBELT Road, go to Annapolis Rd instead! He disregarded all my concerns but if I was of another race or gender, I would have been treated with a lot more respect! I don't want anything to do with that place and don't plan to "contact" your customer service. There was NONE! read more

If you have time to waste and don't care about customer service, this is the place to go! I had an appointment, not sure what the point in that was, because my appointmnet was at 11:00 am. I was trying to get tires, that I checked on line at this store to make sure were avaiable. However, 2 hours later at 1:00 when they deciced to acknowledge me, my fault I should have just left after 1/2 hour, anyway they didn't even have the tires for my alleged appointment. Of course the offered me to wait a few more hours while they check other stores! I have never experienced so much ignorance, lack of concern or professionalism in any industry. Hope this helps the next person so that nobody else ever has to go through this foolishness. read more

I brought my car in for a slow leak in my driver's side front tire. I waited patiently for two hours only to find out that they were waiting to get an authorization from me to replace the tire. Although I was sitting in the shop all along, they never bothered to check for me and couldn't call me because the guy who checked me in didn't put my info into the system correctly. When my car was finally ready, the guy who caused the whole snafu was quite distracted and had even more trouble checking me out. He offered no apology or explanation for the delay and mixup. All of this while wearing NO MASK! Sadly, so much of what they say about my melanated brothers and sisters regarding incompetence is true. Next time, I'll go to Goodyear. read more

Just had an extremely horrible experience at this location. I dropped off my car at 1240pm and let Dion know I'd be back at 2pm to pick it up as I had to go to work. He assured me my car would be long done before then and they'd call me if they couldn't patch the tire. At 215 I went back to the store and not only wasn't my car done, apparently they do not patch the type of tire I have. I reminded them that they had patched another one of the tires on the same car a few months ago and they seemed confused I'd caught them in their lie. Very upset that I lost almost 2 hours of the day when I could have gotten my car fixed else where. Avoid this place - their communication and customer service skills are non existent. read more

Is there anything less than 1 star? As an Army Vet I must say that of all the places I've been this is the absolute worse!!! The manager and the person in the corporate office both lied an incident that happened with my tire sensor. They refused to put anything in writing and now I have to escalate this to a small claims case!! I found them to be incompetent as well as dishonest and dismissive when they are clearly at fault. My car had a slow tire leak so I made an appointment on Wednesday for 4pm in the afternoon for Friday. Friday morning, a service person called me up and wanted me to reschedule my appointment for 11:30. I was not available so we agreed on 2:30 pm. I showed up at 2:30 pm and had to wait in line for someone to process my appointment. After he looked at my car it was now 3pm, (while having an appointment) he told me the job would take 15 minutes max to fix but I had to wait 2-3 hours because there were people in front of me. I asked him, what was the point of having an appointment if i have to wait hours just to get service? He claimed the people in front of me had appointments. Again having stood in line behind these other people, they did not announce they had an appointment, nor did they appear to have any sort of appointment. Moreover, why have me come in at 2:30 if he was unable to provide me the service? I ended up going over to Bevard & Son and getting it fixed for under $25 ($25 is the NTB price) and in about 10 minutes. read more

I made an appointment to have an alignment, oil change and purchase 2 new tires. Upon arriving I asked the guy who checked me in to add a headlight change service to my ticket. I told him I had the bulb I just needed it changed. He agreed and said we will just charge for labor. They did NOT change the light and to add insult to injury had the nerve to say well since your car has already been serviced you can pull it to the side and the mechanic said he will do it for $20 cash. What in the hell kind of business does this? I will not return to this location ever!!!!! read more

Great service by the staff but the establishment has had NO air conditioning since the DMV summer season began. Today it's 95 degrees with the heat index it feels like 100 degrees. As a sitting customer I was miserable enduring the heat in the waiting room. I can't imagine what the staff has endured since the summer season began. Something needs to be done about the very hot conditions in this location for paying customers and their staff. read more

I had a 10am appointment I arrived 20mins early only to see there was no one at the front desk to welcome the customers. There was several other customers waiting confused on who was running the front the desk. I literally had to walk to the car garage to get a mechanic. When someone magical appeared at the front desk only to have a attitude. Told me to turn my phone down because he was mad at idk who. I have a scheduled appointment. I waited 10 minutes before anybody came out to assist me. One of the employees walked by twice looked directly at me and never acknowledged me at all. The third time he walked by I said something to him, his was response was "Oh my bad I forgot to tell someone". I was informed that he is new. Honestly what does being new have to do with common courtesy. I usually go to NTB in Bowie because it is closer to my home. I have never experienced this at the Bowie location. I came to the Lanham location because they had the availability that I needed. As someone who works in healthcare and has been working through this pandemic, great customer service is everything! A simple "someone will be with you shortly" would've been great. 10 years and 3 cars later I still choose to come to NTB for all my tire needs. Made an appt for 130pm arrived at 1pm. Was checked in at 130 and took a seat in the waiting area. at 230 checked and my car had not moved. Could not find an employee to check on a wait time. finally spoke with someone at 330 PM who asked if my car was done. I informed him that my car had not been moved at all. When he went in the back to see how much longer, it seemed like he couldn't even find my service ticket. I was then informed that the person who would be doing my service (Tire balance and rotation and an alignment) was working on a coolant job and would be able to get to my car at 530. I asked if there was anyone else that could do the work and he informed me yes but he didn't want to do it and was going home. Worst experience at a "mechanic" in my life. Pick another location if not an entirely different company. Was called after lodging a complaint and offered to be enrolled with their priority service. Not offered a discount of any type but asked to still come spend money and potentially waste an entire day again. Fool me once. read more
