Seabutter on Christmas Day did not disappoint! We had such a lovely holiday lunch -- we were seated right away and the service was absolutely wonderful. We ordered the Chilean sea bass, chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura roll, and wagyu roll, and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The calming atmosphere and scenic view made it even better. Located right in the Westlake Promenade, it's super convenient too. Highly recommend -- definitely a 10/10 experience! Look forward to returning. Merry Christmas!

Incredible sushi! the fish tastes fresh and the rolls are very unique and tasty! I loved every single one of them! The flavors were wonderfully paired with the sauces they had I'm always excited when I find a great sushi spot & this hit the spot! The service was fast & although they messed up one of our rolls, they quickly replaced it The ambiance was romantic & coworker friendly! We came on a Sunday around lunch time with two people and were sat quickly

Wow amazing! Best sushi I've had near the Valley so far! And I have been to Nobu, Yume, etc lol. I feel like the other places are a little gimmicky or you are paying for the ambiance and drinks but Seabutter is just straight forward giving you good food/sushi and fish. The hand rolls were the perfect temperature , sushi rice was right texture, and all the fish were so fresh. I've been to a sushi restaurant Tokyo too and it's safe to say Seabutter is better than the one I went to there. Gonna be a regular customer now. Can't pick a fav dish- they all were executed to the highest quality.

Was thoroughly impressed by this place! It's a small space with seating inside and outside by the fountain, but super cute and clean. We ordered miso soup, edamame, salmon avo, tuna shashito, and sunset. They were all really good, but to be honest I wish I got 3 orders of the Salmon Avo because it was THAT good. I get why it's a crowd favorite. Staff was kind and quick. Overall great experience and thing everything was fairly priced for the quality and taste. Would recommend!

Crazy overpriced and quite mid quality. was disappointed. service was fine though. just would go to the many other sushi places in the area over this one

The restaurant location is great, friendly and attentive staff, service was great and the most important, one of the best sushi, sashimi and rolls. Ambience was casual and bright.

I have had many delicious take out orders from Seabutter and finally had the pleasure of dining in twice recently. Both experiences were great, the food was absolutely delicious (both hot and raw items) and I had friendly and attentive service. In particular - Irene went above and beyond, was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided good recommendations. If you are looking for high quality sushi with fresh and creative ingredients, i strongly recommend trying Seabutter.

Enjoyed a nice dinner tonight with friends at Seabutter. I'm not a seafood fan so I stuck with the garlic edamame and chicken teriyaki plate. My hubby had the sushi and said everything was delicious. The restaurant is tiny so make sure you have a reservation because the place was super busy.

I've been here a few times and have never left disappointed. This time we had the yellowtail carpaccio, the sunset and pressed tail rolls. I think my favorite roll here is definitely the Sunset roll! Service is friendly and restaurant is more on the casual side even though the prices are on the steeper end. But I do like the way they make their rolls here and their fish seems to be really fresh!

Came here for dinner with my husband since I've been craving sushi and haven't had it in a while. I did the Taste of Seabutter for $99 per person and felt that it was worth the price. The nigiri were my favorite. The teriyaki chicken was okay. It came with pineapples that tasted like canned pineapples. The chicken was also overcooked. This place was super popular for both to-go and dine-in. Service was pretty quick and staff were all very friendly. It's a very casual place so no need to dress up.

Pro tip - get here early! Sushi is excellent and very fresh! We really enjoyed the different rolls we got. I can't recall the name but the roll with Shiso leaf in it was phenomenal!! Staff were great and offered solid recommendations too. The seating is a bit limited due to reservations but if you get there early (around 5pm) you should be able to get a table no problem. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. Will be coming back for sure!

I love seeing Jessie when I'm in the neighborhood and want some quality sashimi. The owners are great and they care about their customers! I love the kimnedai and the salmon truffle sashimi!! Give it a try and you will be satiated :) The fish is fresh and they are quite efficient!

I'll be dreaming of the Truffle Salmon Sushi and Mr. Krab Roll until I get to come back! We also tried the Albacore Roll, Crispy Rice, Spicy Garlic Edamame, and Shishito Peppers. The Lychee Nigori was sweet and super smooth. Shoutout to our server, Ashley, for the great service and recommendations. The Mr. Krab Roll (warm, wrapped in soy paper) is a must if you love soft shell blue crab, and if you're into truffle, the Truffle Salmon Sushi (2 pieces) is the perfect starter... & you might just keep reordering that! The Shishito Peppers were great, but the Crispy Rice and Edamame were just okay. I love fountain outside, but the inside felt a bit cramped. Although it was clean and service was 10/10. Ideal for a girls' night or small group dinner (4 or fewer), rather than large parties or intimate date nights. I would love to check out their other locations one day as well.

Let's start with their FRITTO MISTO, a mouthwatering combination of fried calamari and shrimp. The addictive sauce that accompanies it is a must-order, and we often find ourselves ordering extra! For a hearty side, try their grandmother Nonna's meatballs, POLPETTE DELLA NONNA. They're incredibly tasty and a great way to start your meal. If you're a fan of zucchini blossoms, you'll absolutely love their FIORI DI ZUCCA RIPIENI. It's a delightful dish that's sure to impress. One of my favorite salads is their INSALATA DELLA CASA, which is a refreshing and healthy option. Adding grilled shrimp takes it to the next level. Now, let's talk about their main courses. Their seafood and pasta dishes are all mouthwatering, but here are our favorites: 1) CACIO E PEPE: This dish is incredibly delicious and goes to another level when you add their grilled shrimp and truffle. 2) BRANZINO: Their seafood is cooked perfectly every time, and they often have HALIBUT as a special dish, which we love as a great alternative. 3) BOLOGNESE: Our son absolutely devours this dish, and it's a great option for kids. 4) STROZZAPRETI: This pasta dish is another great choice, filled with a lot of flavor. 5) LASAGNA: It used to be our number one dish until we started exploring their menu. 6) BRASATO DI MANZI: This is an ultra-delicious bone-in slow-braised beef short rib dish that's out of this world! I have supported The Landing Sushi Bar & Grill for years. I order takeout several times a week,…read moredine in regularly, and have brought friends, family, and out-of-town guests here for countless celebrations. Unfortunately, after a series of repeated mistakes and an extremely unprofessional interaction, I will no longer be returning. Over the past few weeks, my orders have repeatedly been wrong. Most concerning was ordering a spicy tuna cut roll and discovering after taking a bite that it was actually a spicy scallop roll. That is not a small mistake. Serving the wrong seafood to a customer could create a serious allergy or food safety issue. I drove back to the restaurant to return the order and missed dinner with my family because of their mistake. Since then, the quality has continued to decline. One order was made so excessively spicy it was practically inedible. Another spicy tuna roll arrived filled mostly with cucumbers and low-quality tuna cuts that looked nothing like what has consistently been served in the past. Despite these ongoing issues, I remained polite and continued giving this restaurant opportunities to correct things because I have been a loyal customer for years. I never demanded free food. I simply expected accountability, consistency, and basic professionalism. The final straw happened today. I called to ask if a manager was available after previously being told one would contact me, which never happened. The employee who answered the phone placed me on hold and forgot to mute the line. I then overheard him say: "It's the guy again that always complains and never tips," followed by, "Should we comp his meal or what do we do?" First, speaking about any customer this way is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Second, I tip 25% every time I dine in. I do not believe customers should be criticized for not tipping on takeout orders, especially when those orders have repeatedly been incorrect. Restaurants make mistakes. What matters is how those mistakes are handled. Repeated order errors, no management follow-up, and openly mocking a long-time customer is unacceptable. This restaurant used to be one of our family favorites. It is disappointing to see how far the service and standards have fallen.
