We always walk by this place when walking to the beach but this was my first time actually going in. The place is Navy and wine inspired. Lol The front room with the bar is pretty spacious but there is another banquet room in the back that opens up to outdoor seating facing the beach. It's very cozy and welcoming. You seat yourself. Our server was quick to greet us though. She was very pleasant and attentive. I went with the chorizo hash bash while my friend went with the crabby bene. We didn't need any more food but ordered the mixed berry stuffed French toast because the picture made it look amazing. Chorizo hash bash had a nice kick and was delicious. I like my potatoes more crispy but these were ok. I'm told the crab Benedict was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was a little on the sweet side though. Nothing a little hot sauce couldn't fix. Lol. The French toast was delicious. We each tried a little and the rest was packed up to go. We were there for breakfast but our server told us all about their afternoon menu and wine flights. She also unlocked the wine room and let us check it out. They occasionally have live music and themed nights so we will definitely return to check that out. It was a really nice way to start the day off. Pro: it's located practically on the beach so it was easy to walk off the food right after and it's a beautiful view.

Bartender was friendly and made delicious drinks. Sea glass has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and patrons. There was a great selection and tapas. The portions were large and delicious. We will be back!

Our return to Fernandina Island and The Patio discovered the same great food and terrific service provided by Kimmi. Patio is by far one of island favorites. It's obvious locals agree as a short wait for a table indicated it is truly a destination for food. Server Kimmi served up delicious fare in whirlwind speed, then kept tabs on every need. Food was memorable so we opted for the same combination from our first visit. Thank you The Patio for a great experience. From our previous visit over a year ago, read on...

Anyways, our server was pretty friendly, and we can't complain about the ambience. Here's what we tried: -Crab Dip: 10/10 - SOOO YUMMY! Perfect crab dip, so rich, so flavorful. -Lobster Bisque: 2/10 - This wasn't bisque, it wasn't even chowder. It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.

Great cause and great people. Afterwards, we sat inside for a glass of wine (pinot grigio was perfect after a warm and sunny walk over the intercostal bridge). Great space, amazing aesthetic, retail area with tons of variety and local love, and customers who welcome you with open arms. It's a bit of a drive for us but we would love to make more trips there, even if it's just supporting dementia and alzheimer's awareness.

It also has the neighborhood vibe. Mostly seems like a bunch of regulars who are also super welcoming to new friends. The service is always fantastic. They have a few mixed drink options and a pretty broad beer and wine selection, all very decently priced (even some non-alcoholic beer!). They don't have a food menu, but do have some good snacks available for purchase. We spent many of the recent Mondays here for name that tune, and they have so many more fun events that I will need to make time to attend. Don't skip this place! And PS... yes the parking lot is small but there is potential to park at the shopping center just across the road if needed!
