There's a reason why it's so hard or it takes too long to get an appointment with him. It's simply because he is the best. My whole family goes to him for our braces (my aunt's a dentist and she wouldn't leave us only) plus my aunt/dentist always refers patients to him whenever she can because he is so easy to work with. I think the general price range for braces would be $2000? not positive but around there. Excellent service. The front desk people are so funny and awesome. LOVE them! also the people in the back. They are very efficient with their work and they do an amazing job. Down side is that they never tell you the right time you'll get them off. I was suppose to get it off 1 1/2 to 2 years. I got it off 2 1/2 years but i guess that's a good thing since he's a perfectionist. read more

I think I found my new favorite place... Okay, so I lost my retainer. I was reluctant on replacing it because I kept telling myself I will find it! Few days started passing, I notice my bottom row shifting, and of course I freaked out and called every single orthodontist and they were closed on Thursday? Thursday??? Why Thursday? Why not close on a Tuesday? CraZy people. So I landed on this place... And my first thought "omg it's on bolsa" no offense to all the bolsa shops, but my first thought is they're gonna speak only Vietnamese and it's gonna be really dirty. Anyways, I just crossed my fingers and made the call. The lady that answered spoke perfect English so I'm thinking okay okay this is a good sign. I told her my situation and she told me to come in and quoted me 150. When I parked in the plaza I was a little lost. Since the office is facing the street and you won't see it until you walk out towards the street. Located right next to snow monster cause you know, dentist visits and sweets go hand in hand.. (Joke people, relax) Anyways, I walk in and Wowowow? Am I still in bolsa?? Everything is super clean, neat, and modern! Loved it already. The receptionist told me the doctor would see me soon but come in and fill out paper work. As soon as I walked in, all the dentist hygienist or assistants were so nice and welcoming.. It felt so nice! Not the typical Vietnamese vibe . Like they don't gaf about you , just your money vibe. Alright moving on, the orthodontist , mister Douglas, came into the room with me and greeted me , asked me what I needed, and told me he'll be able to replace my retainer and also mold it to help my teeth go back into place... And hearing this made me feel like a million bucks! I really was hoping to fix the shifting or else my braces would have been a waste of money! Then after the consultation, one of the assistant molded my teeth, and I will be coming back this coming Saturday, to see how the retainer comes along. Also, they told if I bring back in my top retainer, they'll tighten it for me! So sweet.. Fingers cross, hope they can get my teeth back to being next to perfect! Pleaseeee! read more

Dr. Douglas Nguyen, an awesome orthodontist, was recommended by my sister, Dr. Tran who is my son's general dentist. The kids love this place. My son and my niece have been Dr. Nguyen's patients for years and we can't say enough how pleased we are with his practice. Dr. Nguyen and his staffs made it a very positive experience. Amy (orthodontic assistant) and receptionists are friendly and helpful. Amy is a sweetheart. She is extremely kind, professional and most of all, she loves kids. Amy has a good heart that is inclined toward doing good things for others. As single mom, I always have a hard time to follow up with my son's dentist appointment because I am working all the time. Amy helped me to pick up my son from our home and brought him to his dentist's appointment when i was busy at work. Once Amy helped me to bring my son to my work after my son finished with his dentist's appointment. Without Amy's help, my son can't be able to follow up with Dr. Nguyen's appointment every month. We feel very lucky to have Amy's help! My son and niece have zero fear of having a check-up with Dr. Nguyen's practice which is a wonderful experience. Dr. Nguyen is the best orthodontist who we have ever had. He is knowledgeable, professional, pleasant, informed and very good with what he does... Dr. Nguyen and his amazing office staff have become a part of our family. We trust Dr. Nguyen with every decision and plan he has for my son and niece's braces. My son's teeth and my niece's teeth have looked much better than before. Soon the kids will be finishing their Phase II and we can't wait to see the beautiful results. All I have to say is Dr. Douglas is the best!! This was my first time and most likely last time getting braces because he and his team did such a wonderful job. One of the most important things in healthcare is the way the patients are treated but this orthodontics office did everything right. This orthodontist office offers the best service with the kindest and friendliest staff, especially Sarah and Abby who always happily greet me as I walk in or as I leave. Paul was the one who took my braces off and he was very thorough with the process and caring too. I honestly wasn't the best patient throughout this process for them because in the beginning stages I would always hate to wear my rubber bands, but I'm glad I did end up wearing them. I've always been worried that my orthodontist would be too aggressive​.
