Dirty grout-after tile cleaning service is done

Very disappointed with the service. The service technician cleaned my guest bathroom upstairs but he forgot to do one small area under the towel shelf. There are red stains in the grout and it looked bad. I called customer service and the lady who answered the call said there is no warranty/service provided. If I have to get this small area tile cleaned (about 4 or 5 tiles), then I need to pay base cost of 109+tax+trip fee! This is ridiculous! I did not check the upstairs bathroom right after the service because I trusted the service technician(and the area was wet and slippery), however I now regret that I did not. Apparently it is customer's responsibility to babysit and make sure service technician did their job right, because there is no warranty after the service tech is gone!

    Equipment left behind

I received a call from a SEARS' representative regarding my experience with SEARS' services on 8/11/21 at 8:00 A.M. I told her my concerns. I recently moved into a three-story town house The team accomplished the job of cleaning my upholstery and cleaned the grout my three restrooms. I was the first job of the day and the team was on time, but seemed rushed and careless regarding the overall job. The blue hose used for cleaning was coiled and not straight as it entered the townhouse. Next thing I know is that water/cleaning solution from the blue hose is leaking to the second-floor steps to the first-floor steps. Water/cleaning solution was also a bit on the walls and baseboards. They asked for a mop, which I did not have, so I got several towels to help clean up the stairs. I just had surgery and am supposed to be taking it easy, but I did help clean up the water on the stairs because they were not moving very quickly. Also, water was being tracked on their boots. I placed towels down to prevent the water from their boots getting on the carpet in other places of the house. To my knowledge, the wooden floors were not ruined. I was told that the truck they were using was a truck that was not usually used and that is why that happened. The other truck they typically use was having mechanical problems. Two bathrooms were cleaned on the second floor. The third-floor bathroom is where the blue hose was rubbed against the white wall while the bathroom tile was being cleaned. It looks like the hose was consistently rubbing against the wall causing blue marks. It looks as though the plastic piece was not being used or it was not being used properly. I did not notice the marks at the time until later on in the evening. I tried wiping the blue marks off of the wall and the paint started to come off of the wall. Please refer to the photos below: SEE PHOTO BELOW Also, I asked that the team wear masks while they were in the house. I noticed that the masks were not continually worn. Three items were also left behind. A white rag, which I threw away. A plastic guard and spray bottle was forgotten. Please refer to the photos below: SEE PHOTOS BELOW A representative from SEARS contacted me on 8/12/21 and asked how my experience was and I told her what happened, which is written above. She said she would let another person in SEARS know about my experience and wanted to "make things right". I also received another call from a SEARS representative on 8/13/21. She read the email that I was told to send. I also informed her that my mat by my door was soaked from the blue hose leak. It is now 8/19/21 and I have yet to hear from any SEARS representative. Also, the team has yet to pick up their equipment. Proceed with caution when hiring SEARS and be prepared to oversee the team so that what happened at my house will not happen to yours.

Customer service and management are very rude, mean and very disrespectful and I do not recommend Sears for carpet cleaning.

Therefore, if you have animals in your home, & want to keep your home clean & smelling nice, you know, like I do, the importance of using a reputable carpet cleaning company who values their customers. Never in a million years did I think that Upfront Home Service would do me dirty like this after all of our years of working together but I guess that's what happens when a company gets GREEDY. They forget that it is their long time customers who helped them to succeed. Recently, we scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. At first, I thought everything was going great until I saw the one patch job. We brought it to the technicians attention & he said that was the absolute best patch that could be done. I didn't agree but waited until it dried. After he left, I went upstairs and noticed that the scent that is usually very pleasant after carpet cleaning was not there but instead the stench of dirty water was present & extremely strong. This was not the norm in past jobs with them so I immediately knew something was not right. I called the office & asked them to send someone over right away to see the job that was done and to smell the odor. I thought Rachel was going to send over a supervisor to check things out the next day but all that came over was a regular technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. I thought they would have redid carpet & fixed the patch but that was not the case. Mind you, my circumstances have never changed during the 9 years I have used Upfront Home Services I have always had animals, & yes, animals have accidents. There was no more or less than the norm. After they cleaned my carpet, the carpet smelt great each time, so they cannot say it was my fault or point fingers. If they had only come out to see for themselves what I was referring to after I asked them to, they would have seen & smelt what I was talking about but they chose not to. A few days after this took place, & after I had a few moments to myself after moving State to State, I wrote an email to the owner, Joseph Pais expressing my concern & instead of reaching out to me personally, he had someone by the name of Daniel Guida call on his behalf. He seemed nice at the time & said he would send someone over to fix. I explained to him that the second visit should have handled this & that we no longer had access to the home. We moved out. I told him we had spent almost $1000 on this work & the least they could do since they didn't fix any of it on second visit was to maybe refund us something. Maybe 15-20 percent of the cost since the job was not done right & no one thought it necessary to stop by next day to see what we were talking about. Well a week later, Daniel did not call me back so I sent a follow up Text to him yesterday. I saw that he read my text but didn't feel he should be professional & reply. I then sent another email to the owner, this morning, & he had the nerve to offer me a refund of $50 & a $300 credit if we ever returned to Texas & needed carpet cleaning. We moved to Florida 2 weeks ago AND WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT TO RETURN TO GET A CREDIT? REFUND ME NOW. THE JOB STILL SUCKS!!!!! If Joseph or Daniel had come to the house, they would have witnessed first hand our complaints & the odor we had after they cleaned it along with the really bad patch job. If our 9 years of business means nothing to them & they insult me by offering me a $50 refund after spending almost $1000 on this past job, then they can keep it. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. Keep this in mind if you need to hire a company to clean your carpet, tile, etc. If my 9 years of business meant absolutely nothing to them, how do you think they will treat you or your home?

Our initial communication went smoothly, and I was quoted $1,100 for the job, scheduled to begin on May 29. The evening before the scheduled job, I hadn't heard anything, so I reached out to confirm the appointment. Stephen replied with an arrival time, but then messaged me the next morning at 7 AM saying he had Covid and wouldn't be able to start. He offered a refund or the option to reschedule.
