Cute ice cream shop with good flavors, it was hard choosing what we wanted but thank god for samples. Love all the flavors we tried and will be back to try more. They have a seating bench outside, but no indoor seating. The parking can be tricky when it's busy. The workers were very nice and provided great service! ig: @cravingswithcat

After a long day of walking around and enjoying El Dorado park, the wife and I needed a nice and creamy pick me up, and what better way than to enjoy some delicious ice cream. We were recommended Seaside creamery from a friend, and boy was it delicious! The ice cream itself was luxurious and THICC, the level of decadence that we always want from our more elevated ice cream parlors. We got the fluffer nutter and the strawberry shortcake. If you love cake, cookie and peanut butter, look no further than the fluffer nutter. The strawberry shortcake was also deliciously fruity and had cake bits as well. They were both so good we had to get pints to bring home to the fam! Nice and funny ambiance on the inside as well. Service was quick and easy, they have HUGE scoops here as well which is lovely. They don't have indoor or outdoor seating - so we enjoy our ice cream in the car :)

Tiny parking lot. Near CSULB so a good place to stop by if you're a student. Flavors are all well done and feels like a high quality dessert. Split scoop is very generous, but one scoop is honestly filling enough. Server was very kind and let me sample several different flavors. They really nail down the flavor combinations because they have texture and most combinations don't tend to clash. Although there's a base flavor, usually accents come through very well. For example, there was a honey lavender flavor and I usually think it leans lavender flavor with honey as a sweetener, but this ended up tasting like lavender and honey pretty equally. Cheesecake is good. Cookies n cream also good. It's all delicious, really. But stick with what you like because after a while it easily gets filling. If you get cheesecake flavor, I recommend getting chocolate. I got sea salt caramel and it was too sweet with the cheesecake after a while.

This place has the best flavors!! I had option overload when I was in there because all of the flavors looked so good lol. We got the matcha honeycomb, corn miso caramel, strawberry shortcake, and vietnamese coffee. All of the flavors were bomb and so creamy. The prices were great as well. We got the split scoop where you can get two flavors for $6.50. Such a great deal! There isn't a lot of seating outside so just keep that in mind if you're going with a group.

I stopped here on a weekday afternoon for some ice cream on a hot summer day. It's located in a small plaza and the shop itself is also small - no seating inside (insert sad face here). They had around 16 unique flavors and the kind young woman behind the counter offered to give me tastes of anything I desired. But two flavors immediately jumped out at me so I got two scoops in a cup; one bumbleberry cheesecake and one Vietnamese coffee. There were some tables outside in front of the Mexican restaurant next door, but as I wandered over to sit down, I kind of got "the look" from the owner so I retreated to enjoy my ice cream in my air-conditioned car. Both scoops were very creamy and the coffee ice cream tasted like coffee and the bumbleberry tasted like berry and cheesecake (with some tiny bits of cookie-crust). But I agree with other reviewers who feel the flavors lacked depth. The taste was there but it was too mild. Still, a good place to get some ice cream if you're in the area!

Around Long Beach, we are lucky to have a great selection of high-quality, artisanal ice creams; however, Seaside Creamery deserves to be mentioned as one of the best in our area. This spot is located in East Long Beach on Palo Verde near Atherton and the CSULB campus. What is undeniable is the quality of their objectively creamy ice cream. Their website reveals why: the ice cream is made to be like frozen custard as their base is loaded with higher fat content from egg yolks, quality cream, and natural ingredients. It's dense and creamy with assertive flavor. Speaking of flavor, they have flavor combos that you don't see elsewhere; however, their flavor combos make sense. Examples of flavors include: fluffernutter (peanut butter and marshmallow), cookie mintster (mint with chocolate cookie), mallow cookies and cream (cookies and cream with marshmallow), and indonesian vanilla. They're classic flavors with high quality ingredients and a twist, but it doesn't get weird like some places. I went with their salted caramel and fluffernutter on a waffle cone and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife went with fluffernutter and cookie minster. Fluffernutter was our surprise flavor of the night. I spent $9 for a double scoop and an additional $1.75 for a waffle cone. There isn't really seating, so get your ice cream in a bowl and with a lid if you need to drive it home. High quality ice cream does have a premium price; however, I definitely feel that it is justified from their high-quality, creamy, and flavorful scoops and their unique flavors.

Came here on a Sunday around 1:30 no wait to order. No seating small parking lot in front. Inside was clean. Many unique flavors they allow you to taste test them. We got the Vietnamese ice cream super creamy and good coffee flavor. The strawberry cheesecake was good. Fruit flavor taste fresh not artificial. The velvet chocolate was really good too not too dark or strong. All in all quick and friendly service and for price to taste worth it! Going to come again.

Great variety of unique ice cream flavors here! I came here on a weekend evening and got a few scoops of ice cream to try! You order at the counter, and the server was kind. It's a nicely lit cafe, with some to-go pints. There no seating area inside, so we enjoyed our scoops while we were waiting for our pizza next door.

I first visited Seaside Creamery right after it opened and tried the four-flavor flight to share amongst the family. I don't remember the flavors but we all agreed we'd go back. Tonight we were wanting to make a dessert run and were happy to see they were open until 10 pm on a Friday. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and let us try as many samples as we wanted. I'm always drawn to peanut butter, so I tried fluffernutter (PB base with PB) and chocolate PB cup (chocolate with PB cups pieces and PB swirl). They were both so good, but I went with the chocolate based PB cup in a traditional cake cone. My pet leave is stale cones, and this was super fresh -- 10/10! Hubby got fluffernutter and cookie mintser (mint cookies and cream) in a cup. Teen got sea salt caramel (vanilla base), which he said was "crazy good." Total was $20 for 4 scoops, which felt like a bargain after what I just paid for ice cream in Maui. We love the original flavors and that they make them all themselves. There's no seating. It has a cute wall mural -- no, it's not gonna lick itself -- and it's conveniently located by one of our favorite pizza places (Pizzamania) and fast food Chinese restaurants (China Star). Be sure to register your phone number for rewards.

Okay, so this ice cream is top notch. You can tell that they have taken a lot of care in carefully curating flavors that amplify the amazing texture of their ice cream (super rich and creamy, definitely felt like they were made with high quality cream and egg). Tiny little shop with a couple tables outdoors. The person behind the counter was really friendly and patient with our indecisiveness. Samples were encouraged. I tried the bumbleberry cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious. Slightly tangy from the berries and cheesecakeiness (it's a word now), but mellowed by the sweet creaminess. Add the little graham-y crumbles and you're in dessert bliss. My teen tried the caramel spiced apple and devoured it. My toddler wanted velvet chocolate (mostly chocolate with a hint of hazelnut) and it was HEAVY (even when kid scoop sized). Definitely a win for a chocolate enthusiast. Highly recommend supporting this little shop!

I went here twice with my roommates this month and oh my gosh I cannot recommend this place enough. Both times I've gotten lemon lavender because quite frankly I'm obsessed with it. The workers in there are so kind and patient! They left us try sooo many different flavors and they were all so good. I'm moving out of Long Beach soon and I'm so sad that I waited to try this place- definitely will be getting a quart of lemon lavender to take with me read more

Tried this new ice cream place near CSULB and wow I was not expecting it to be this good!! The decor in there is so cute and I loved the names of the ice cream. The shop uses metal spoons for samples which I thought was so cool and environmentally sustianable. The worker who served us was friendly, helpful, and patient throughout the whole service. I sampled a variety of the ice creams and he was so patient. I got the instigator (espresso flavored) ice cream, and WOW this scoop was very dense and didn't melt quick which was so good. If you're looking for the absolute best, creamiest ice cream where you can truly taste the quality, this is it! Do yourself a favor and stop by--you won't regret it. This has easily become my favorite weekly date night since discovering it. Dangerously good! Plus, the staff is amazing, including the owner. Customer service is top-notch! We hired Seaside Creamery to bring their adorable ice cream cart to my granddaughter's 1st birthday, and they truly exceeded all expectations! They offered three delicious homemade flavors that were a huge hit with guests of all ages. Their team was incredibly professional, friendly, and made the whole experience so special. My son and I stopped in after a little road trip along the coast yesterday. Everything I sampled was delicious, which made it very hard to decide which 2 flavors to purchase. I appreciated the variety of flavors offered and that all the ice creams are made in-house. It was all just so good! Definitely can taste the quality. Really nice decor inside too. A wonderful addition to this side of Long Beach serving delicious and consistent ice cream. Unique (but not overly overcomplicated) takes on your classic flavors like Indonesian Vanilla and Mallow Cookies and Cream (our favorite!). The only challenge is the small lot when it comes to parking, but thankful a new frozen dessert option is now open in the Los Altos neighborhood. 5 stars! read more

Came by here after dinner. It's in a small plaza with ample parking. The shop is really clean and the employees are very patient and friendly while I asked to try a few samples. I ended up getting a scoop of Sea Salt Caramel and my wife got a scoop of Vietnamese Coffee. If I was in the area, I would easily come back here for ice cream. read more

Love this adorable ice cream shop. Tastes high quality and compared to other creameries I their flavors are NOT too sweet. They are much more subtle than others in the area but still full of flavor. I guess what is supposed to stand out about this place is that it is a custard based ice cream. I just didn't get the sense of that but maybe I was just tired that day. You get served a relatively small portion but I guess I'm also thankful that they are looking out for my waistline--since I don't do that enough for myself . . . Amazing flavors that are unique yet familiar- Our favorites are Vietnamese Coffee, Lemon lavender, Bumbleberry cheesecake and strawberry shortcake. But honestly all the flavors are good and it's hard to go wrong. The only issue might be that there's No seating so you usually have to get it to go. Hands down the best ice cream LB! read more

I really love that we have an awesome new local ice cream shop to enjoy. They have really delicious creamy ice cream here and have really fun flavors, also. We love to grab pizza at Pizzamania with friends and then head here after for ice cream. It is also now our go to after the kids sports events on the weekends! I stopped my Pizzamania and noticed this place next door and gave it a try! Very friendly and welcoming staff gave me samples to try. I tried the peanut butter and chocolate and the cookies and cream flavor. Both were so delicious. We first got the peanut and chocolate and had to come back for more so we tried the cookies and cream next. The cookies and cream was hands down my favorite so far. I wish i could've tried all the flavors. But definitely I'm coming back for more in the Summertime! 10/10! read more

Sooo yummy. The mallow cookies and cream was scrumptious. I also tried the velvet chocolate and a walnut flavor I cant remember the name of. I'll have to go back for that mallow cookies and cream though. Service is super friendly. I like that they use reusable metal spoons for samples instead of disposable. I was surprised they didn't have any vegan flavors. I guess that's just a personal expectation I have of the more boutique ice cream shops. LOOOOVE seaside creamery! Their service is impeccable and everyone is so extremely sweet! Angelica helped us out today and explained the flavors and was very nice! They make the flavors in house with a custard base which makes the ice cream creamier. All the flavors are so delicious but I especially love the bumbleberry cheesecake! Came and tried the OG rocky road. Store was beautiful, service was great. It was 5.50 for a scoop. Portion felt small for the price. Most places have cake cones which seem like the same as the cone from thrifty or Walmart free but they charged 75 cents a cone. The flavor was not anything unique, felt they were charging artisan prices but didn't have that level of taste. read more

The other night after dinner my hubby was craving something sweet. I said there's a new ice cream shop down the road let's check it out. I am delighted to report how good their ice cream is. I'm writing this review because this was genuinely the best ice cream I've had in my life and I got to Handel's and Long Beach creamery somewhat often. The marshmallow cookies and cream was out of this world. Their ice cream is custard base and to die for. Angelica was so friendly and very happy to let me and my wife try each flavor (they have metal spoons for tastings which is a huge plus to me). Definitely found my new spot. Also the shop is so clean and everything was appealing to look at. 10/10 read more

Yum. Great to have a nearby quality ice cream spot appear on the map. We got a couple of scoops, and an education in what differentiates frozen custard from ice cream. Technically this is frozen custard, aka ice cream made with egg yolks. The guys were friendly and patient as my son tried every flavor! read more

Today was the first day of their soft opening! Walking in the design of the spot is cute, I love the soft colors, they made me feel comfy. The frozen custard flavors are unique. They let you try as many of the flavors as you want. I loved the quality of the frozen custard. It was creamy and rich with flavors that have a twist. Definitely craftily made. The employees were nice and excited since it was their first day open. I love that they are trying to be eco-friendly. They use metal spoons for the samples to reduce waste and the cup and spoon they serve your frozen custard in are compostable. Give this place a try! read more

Delicious flavors and creamy consistency make this place a gem. This time I got tiramisu and bumbleberry (a mix of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry jam) cheesecake flavors, hands down the best ice cream I've tried in a long time! Also, Nicole was incredibly attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations and even taking the time to let me sample a few flavors before deciding. We like to think of ourselves as ice cream connoisseurs & will travel near & far for a good scoop. I must say this place has entered our top ice cream (custard!!) places! The owner was very nice & let us sample everything! He didn't make us feel rushed and explained how he made every flavor. Such a cool local spot definitely need to go and the ice cream was GOOD GOOD! Seaside Creamery began as a small home project and grew through friends family and word of mouth. We wanted to create a place where people could enjoy frozen custard the way it should taste rich creamy and made with intention. What started in our kitchen has become a neighborhood spot where guests come for handcrafted flavors and a warm welcoming experience.

I started Seaside Creamery to share the kind of ice cream I always loved growing up. My focus is creating flavors with real ingredients and keeping our batches small so every scoop tastes its best. I work hands on with our team to develop recipes train staff and create a friendly honest shop that reflects the care we put into every flavor.
