The older gentleman at the register was incredibly kind and welcoming. The frozen yogurt was delicious and reasonably priced. I really liked the family-owned feel of the shop. It's not fancy, but it unique for sure. Definitely my kind of vibe and prefer this over corporate companies. There is small parking lot right in front of the shop and makes it extra convenience. I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

It's not the most glamorous aesthetic place but it's family owned which is nice. Not too many flavors. But absolutely scratches the itch for frozen yogurt ! Lots of toppings and a good price. If you're craving frozen yogurt after the beach it's perfect!

My college mate and I were walking off some Mexican food and we decided to get something sweet and we came upon seaside yogurt. We got the sea salt pretzel yogurt with caramel sauce and chocolate sauce added on top. Yummy yummy yummy yummy!!

Watermelon with tart yogurt. Added pocky, strawberries, circus animal cookies and chocolate chips. So good! Also how cute is the cup!

So yummy and lots of cool candies and snacks available apart from the yogurt. The owner is super nice too.

The inside is super cute and the worker was the sweetest!! I love all the candy decor and photos on the wall. i wish there were more froyo flavors, but there were a bunch of different toppings from peach rings to candy corn to tim tams. I will definitely come back since it is close to the beach.

This self serve yogurt shop will not dazzle you with it's selection by any means. I think I maybe counted 8 total flavors and the toppings were pretty limited in comparison as well. What Seaside Yogurt does have going for it though is it's identity. It's a mom and pop to the T. Pop was working the midday shift on a Tuesday in December so you know you're going to get an authentic look at a family owned business. Really sweet older gent who you could tell takes pride in the hard work he puts into this little place. Is it the best yogurt shop in the area? Probably not. I'm definitely going to stop in and support next time I'm in the area though.

For what it is Seaside Yogurt deserves 5stars. As a former storefront business owner, I understand space & cost issues. I was immediately surprised about the ginormous candy selection they have for toppings. These people are authentic Asian style with the setup, use of space, and how much candy is available for toppings! *love it* I read other reviews - I have to disagree with the selection of toppings. I've been doing this yogurt bar style of yogurt shops since they became a thing in 2010. They all have pretty much the same toppings unless you go to one in Japan or another Asian/P.I. (i.e. the Philippines) country. This place reminded going to a yogurt bar in Asia - minus the flavors you would find if you were in those countries. All the toppings you would find at any other self serve yogurt bar AND THEN SOME! I would definitely take a young kid here for a treat. They would have too much fun with all the different candy choices to make themselves a Willy Wonka yogurt Delight edible fantasy. I didn't mind how the toppings were put in bottles, it makes sense because of lack of space. I ended up unscrewing the top and dumping my toppings on. Everything looks clean. The self-serve area was clean. The topping bar was clean. There were only eight choices- which how many choices do you need when you have so many toppings? I absolutely LOVED that they had purple Taro!!!! THAT'S something different. Yummy good. Mixing that with honey, blueberries, and granola was fabulous! The service was friendly. The gentleman - apparently his name is Mister Lee - wanted to make sure I liked my choices and I understood where everything was. I appreciate the very small business feel. If I had recieved no service at all, it wouldn't surprise me. A lot of times that's how it is when you're in true Asian establishment. *shrug* I would not have complained either way. I like that Seaside Yogurt has storefront parking, and a little sitting area outside to enjoy your delicious treat while taking in a view of the ocean. You can visit the adorable pet food shop next door and pick up your pet a treat while you're getting yourself something sweet. I would suggest they get a trash can for outside at the end of the row of orange chairs. REASONS TO VISIT SEASIDE YOGURT: 1. Reasonable Prices 2. Huge Topping Selection 3. Clean Establishment 4. Friendly Service 5. Storefront Parking 6. Support Small Business

It is located in Solana Beach , beautiful open setting with outdoor seating right next to gorgeous fountain. They have a nice size parking lot next to it. We got the Opera and Pistachio flavors and honestly it was really really good, both were super tasty, very quality. It had a creamy milky thick texture to it and it wasn't overly sweet like American ice cream but it was definitely sweet and delectable - fine dining / upscale dessert vibes. Of course this is top-tier gelato, with a rich and creamy consistency, bursting with flavor. The part that impressed me the most is their variety in flavors. They had many different great flavors to choose from with few that are rotating, so it's great to try new ones. They also have vegan options too. The employees are extremely friendly and assist with suggestions for flavor combinations. We have felt very welcomed and appreciated. This would have been an average San Diego coffee shop experience for me, except for the fact that I absolutely LOVED the cherry bomb! It's a cherry mocha and essentially a perfect drink for me. Back in 2019, Starbucks had a seasonal cherry mocha for Valentine's Day that I was obsessed with. Apparently I was the only one, because they haven't brought it back since. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!

The Matcha Ube was more green tea flavored than matcha or ube. The Cookies and Cream was good.
