The food is always stellar. I love the idea of seasonal produce and a rotating menu. But I recommend going during the week, as the weekend rush seems to be too much for the staff to handle. Don't bother making reservations through Open Table on a Saturday night- they made it clear that they take it on a "first come, first serve" basis, despite the assumed "priority seating" you would think making a reservation gives you. Arrived for our 8:15 reservation and was told they are working on 8pm seating still- approx 15-20min wait. As it was Saturday night, I was not surprised and was ok with this. Watched multiple parties be seated ahead of us, including those who had no reservation (within view and hearing shot of hostess station). At 8:45 (30min waiting, with a 4 year old) my husband went up and asked our status- he was told we "were the next table to be seated" and that "half the restaurant was on dessert. It could be moments". 9pm rolls around and they seat another couple, not our party, whom they had just assured would be next. When I said as much to the waitress I got a lot of attitude and she insisted our table would be ready within "30seconds". But there were no cleared off tables or tables currently being set. They need to be realistic about wait times and be upfront about how "priority" reservations actually are. Food can only be enjoyable if the service received is just as stellar. read more

Very disappointed. I had heard good things and was looking forward to a nice dinner. Service is friendly and polite but they disappear after you get your entrees. So order drinks ahead of time and order 2 because their cocktails are tiny. Their flat bread pizzas are great. Truffle Mac & cheese is awful!!! Salads are mediocre at best. Once we got past the pretentious front desk - it was lunch time at the mall and eyebrows were raised because we dared to enter without reservations - we found the restaurant delightful. We sat at the comfortable bar and enjoyed our lunch. My crab cake was pure yummy crab and accompanied by a fresh mixed green salad. I also had a golden beet and goat cheese salad that was tasty but light on the goat cheese. My husband raved about the restaurant's take on a caprese salad. The tomatoes were halved and roasted. A slice of fresh mozzarella was sandwiched between the tomatoes and was oozing out the sides. Sigh, next time I need to try that. We will go back. Had reservation at 6:30. Arrived 10 minutes early, told we had to wait until 6:30, fine. 6:45, we have to ask when we will be seated, even though there are 5 host/hostesses standing around doing nothing. Finally seated. Waiter knows nothing about anything on the menu. It takes 20 minutes for the bottle of wine we ordered to come to the table. My wife had eaten at the one in Princeton for lunch and liked and wanted the fish tacos again and specifically asked if they would be available for dinner when she made the reservation and was told yes. The waiter said no. All of the food we ordered was very bland. The Branzino I ordered was overcooked. Typical 'upscale' chain restaurant fare, perhaps the reviews that gave 5 stars just don't know any better. Will never return. read more

After dining several times at the Princeton location, we decided to give Bridgewater a try. We got there about 2:30 and were seated promptly. Our server, Nick A. was fantastic. Very knowledgable about the menu and wines. He was friendly and did not rush us. We will ask for him when we return. My husband and I shared the shrimp and crabmeat stuffed mushrooms. Excellent! They were better than the ones we had in Princeton! I had the flat iron steak, which was done to perfection. The broccolini was a little undercooked, but edible. Husband had the shrimp and chorizo over grits, and he enjoyed it. We had wine with our meals and he had espresso and I had coffee with our desserts (pumpkin pie and carrot cake). Portions could be a little larger but we left satisfied, not stuffed! We will definitely be back. read more

This is a solid place to eat. Read several reviews on Yelp of course before going, and glad we came. The decor is very pleasant and has an open layout. We came Monday at 7 pm and forgot to make a reservation like someone suggested. We got the last booth in the bar which has open seating. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant, even when my wife asked if she could get a different cocktail, since her basil, vodka, cucumber tasted more like a Watermelon Jolly rancher. My twist on an Old Fashioned was fine. Don't come here to be wowed by their Cocktails, they are not comparable to Employees Only or Dead Rabbit, as another reviewer compared. Neither for the beer, no taps and nothing interesting on the bottle list. Their strong point is wine, 52 in glass to be exact, and we were happy with our selections. We split the duck leg lollipops which was a hit. My rack of lamb was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and my wife's Braised Short ribs and grits was pure comfort food. We're not big dessert people so was pleased that the desserts are served in small glasses to which the bring them all out at once. Will definitely come back again read more

I ordered the Greek salad. It came out without feta and olives. When I asked if this was right, the waitress said yes. She took it back to be remade and told us it was the salad guys first day. I had the chefs special wild salmon. It came out tasteless with a tasteless sauce over it. The risotto was delicious and vegetables were fine. Overall the value for the price just isn't there. At $11 for a salad and $28 for salmon, the food should have been much better. Also the room is very loud, but the decor is beautiful. I don't think I'll be back. read more

Went here with the family for dinner one night, the service and atmosphere is excellent, possibly the best in town. It was very clear that both the waiting staff as well as the managing staff were both very invested in patrons having a positive experience. If I had to make any critical comments, I would say that the food is a bit pricey for the portion size (but not outlandishly so). Otherwise, the drinks were great, staff was friendly, wait times were completely reasonable. Great spot for a date or the whole family. Will definitely be back again. read more

This review is for this location. Food was delicious. I recommend scallops with risotto. I'm giving it two stars from 2 visits months apart. Went with my son for lunch. Half full but took a long time to get our food. Went back recently ordered unsweet iced tea. I tasted a little sugar. I chalked it up to maybe when they poured sugar on on my husband's tea it got on the lemons he gave me. Got a refill. Still tasted sugar and realized it looked like 90% water, 10% tea. Server said no it's unsweet, offer another. I instead took water. She left the iced tea in my bill. It's not about the money but clearly something was amiss with the tea. I've been to this restaurant three times now and have enjoyed good food and good service each time. I appreciate that waitstaff isn't constantly breathing down your neck to turn the table, allowing parties to enjoy a leisurely meal and conversation with their dining companions. I went again last night and received the same quality food and service, however two negatives prompted me to write this review and give only 3 stars. First, each time I've dined here, I've made a reservation, yet still waited a while for a table. Last night was no exception, as we waited a good 20+ minutes for a table. I will note that our server spoke to management and had our appetizers removed from the bill for the inconvenience, though. Second, and this is the most frustrating point, the restaurant offers free valet, which you really have to use unless you want to park rather far from the restaurant, as they have a fair amount of spaces roped off for valet only in the small lot directly in front of the restaurant. Last night, we used valet, enjoyed a long meal and, by the time we came out, found that valet had left for the night, leaving the key stand and the key to my Mercedes, along with several other vehicles out in the open for anyone to take. There really needs to be a better policy here for handling keys to vehicles that patrons have entrusted to valet after valet leaves for the night. Thankfully, nothing was stolen, but I've never seen valet simply up and leave before ensuring that all keys were returned to their rightful owners! read more

Always loved Seasons 52, but last night was the first time I was disappointed. Our party ordered two of the roasted artichokes and the mushroom mac & cheese as appetizers. The artichokes looked delicious, but were absolutely tasteless and very bland. Salt and pepper didn't do much to help. The mac & cheese was OK, but also a bit bland and, for the price, the portion was quite small. Although we could taste the mushrooms, the cheese didn't have much of a taste but did have a creamy texture. Perhaps it would have been better if a sharper cheese was used or if they threw in a few jalapenos! The main courses were great; the trout and pork chop was excellent, but my rack of lamb was well done even though I asked for it to be a bit pink. The desserts, as always were excellent!! I hope we just hit Seasons 52 on a bad night and that this is not the start of a disappointing trend. read more

If you enjoy wine and are in the area, this is your place. I highly recommend having a reservation, as they are frequently full even on weeknights. I have had the steak and scallops on a few different occasions there. The scallops were excellent, the steak was good, the vegetables were fantastic. The Pinot Noir I had was the best I've had in ages on one trip. I have also tried other reds, Syrah and Malbec, and both were great. Their desserts are limited, but I am not a big dessert person, so that was fine by me. I did try a dark chocolate mousse one time and it was excellent. I try to go here whenever I am in Bedminster or Bridgewater. read more

Had dinner at the bar the other night for the second time and I've been very impressed with both of my visits. My girlfriend and I started with a mushroom soup thar was fantastic. She got the scallops that I had the chance to try, they were perfectly cooked and very fresh. I got the braised short ribs. Very tender with just enough fat. The chef even came out of the kitchen to food run our plates. As he was leaving I noticed one of the managers (taller gentleman with a tight clean haircut) bussing a table. When a restaurant is busy and you have managers and cooks helping everyone else out, it just goes to show you that these people care. The staff at Seasons 52 is one of the best I've ever seen. My wife and I went to Seasons 52 for the first time. Surprisingly, it was pretty good. We shared the chicken and balsamic flatbread which was quite tasty. My wife had pork tenderloin and I has the salmon which was roasted on a cedar plank. The pork was standard fair. The salmon was a good, although the portion was skimpy, in my opinion. The wine list is heavy on poor wine. I found it a challenge to find a decent bottle. When I picked a Robert Sinsky Pinot Noir (which I had before) our waitress said, "Great choice". When I asked her why the Sinsky was a good choice, she said, "I'm not familiar with Pinot's". I laughed out loud when I heard that. The small desserts are just right. We both enjoyed them Worth another trip sometime in the future. read more

We recently visited two locations, Bridgewater and Menlo Park, NJ and really liked it! The atmosphere is nice, the vibe cool, the service solicitous and the food (quite surprisingly for a chain) great! They offer a separate vegetarian menu, which is a nice touch, but rest assured carnivores, you will get your fill. My hubby liked that the desserts were brought out on a slate and he could just pick and enjoy the one he liked. Had both lunch and dinner, no complaints on account of either. Decent wines, cocktails go for the market price and coffee is good. In Menlo Park, the grill had gone on the fritz, so our server explained what was available from the menu; no problems. We will most definitely eat there again, perhaps in other locations too. read more

I am surprised that I have never eaten here. We absolutely enjoyed the food. We had salad with grilled salmon, superb! The salmon with lemon as main course was excellent. Im not a fan of chain restaurants but I have to say I was impressed. Our server Ron was very friendly, personable, and quite knowledgeable. They have a vast selection of wines, which Ron was very eager to describe. He did some light wine tasting with us and suggested the best wine pairing for our entrees. Great atmosphere and food. The bar is big but the food is bigger. I ate with a large group in the private room and the food was served family style. Pass the dish and serve yourself. Had dinner for 6 there last night and the entire experience was outstanding. Our server Ted was generous, attentive and very helpful. We had the gnocchi with vegetables, filet mignon, lamb, cedar plank salmon, scallops, and Chilean Sea Bass. We also had a buratta citrus salad and a flat bread appetizer. The desserts are spot on in small shot glasses - just enough sweet for the end of a meal. All in all I was very pleased with the taste of the food, the presentation and the service.
